raumdeuter:Erm A lot of things can be true at the same time. Is the debate about him being the president elect or that he’s showing himself to be a liar once again? We’re calling him out for being a liar. Your response is “we voted to him”. And so? He made you guys promises that he’s now backtracking on. People pointed out how he’s set on swindling his followers again and you are calling it pre-complaining. I know it has to be embarrassing but no one forced him to backtrack. In fact it’s expected given his character. You’re not going “ we voted for him and he won” away the feeling of being swindled. Tomorrow when you buy eggs for 3x the price, you’ll still be chanting “we voted for him and he won”. Doesn’t change the fact that he’s bamboozled you guys again. |
raumdeuter: raumdeuter:That must explain why they were googling “what are tariffs” and “can I change my vote” (in counties he won) after the election. Even you don’t believe that. It’s just your way of dealing with not responding to the facts being presented to you. It’s okay. I’d do the same thing too if I wanted to avoid damning facts in my face that I have no way of explaining away. 🤷🏽♀️ |
bemeruca:Housing costs spiked in 2019 after Trump placed a tariff on Canadian lumber and steel. You’d think this would have been a good opportunity for his supporters to learn about tariffs. He was also the reason for the increase in petrol costs. Not to mention his mishandling of Covid 19 pandemic that led to more deaths and subsequent economic decline. As you have so “smartly” pointed out oh wise one, those things take time to fix. That’s why Biden couldn’t fix them overnight but there’s overall improvement under his leadership. The records show that to be true Trump’s administration will make them terrible again like he did the first time. And when people point those out, y’all in your low IQ pattern will call it wailing Abi crying instead of admitting you’re too embarrassed for having been bamboozled by a conman yet again. |
bemeruca:As opposed to the current president who has steadily been bringing inflation down? You know, actual action with tangible results? Or Kamala who recognized that corporations and their price gouging is the reason why despite inflation stabilizing and going down. They’ve refused to lower prices. And she had actual detailed policies for that? Not just verbal decrees. But yea you believe Trump the grifter is going to be the one to challenge billionaire oligarchs to regulate their prices. I have a bridge in port harcourt to sell to you. Prepare your excuses for the thousand and one failed promises he’s about to unleash on you guys. I think you have TDS coupled with serious hatred for Trump. You are not thinking straight. The standard you held Trump on is to convince yourself that he is failing. That is your sicknessNo you’re not thinking straight. That’s why you’re all over the place trying to find excuses on why he’s backtracking. Stumbling and embarrassing yourself trying to justify nonsense. If anyone ever held Trump to any standards in his life time, he wouldn’t even be a candidate in American politics because he’s nowhere near qualified. Let’s be real for once. |
basilico:I’m selling tin foil hats for cheap if you’re interested |
hayato:Are you selling that? That looks good and fairly priced |
Perfect example of when someone’s brain has been used and they’re trying to convince themselves they haven’t been made a fool of. Tomorrow you guys will be here to make more excuses as to why he can’t do another thing he promised you he’ll do. Four long years of wiping eggs off your faces. He hasn’t even started embarrassing you people yet. bemeruca: |
raumdeuter:In your world, does opposition cease to exist because one party won the election? |
basilico:Yep. Obama was on the ballot See the people I’m arguing with. Ugh 😑 |
bemeruca:Is it every time someone calls you out for not knowing what you’re in support of, you call them emotional? Can you point to the part of post you responded to that’s emotional? This is getting stale and very low IQ of you. Are you 15 years old by chance? Let me know so I can understand this behavior of yours. He said he’ll bring the price of groceries down quickly . Those are his own words. If he’s now just realizing that those kinds of changes don’t happen overnight, then he’s dumb. Or maybe he knew the truth that those kind of changes don’t happen overnight but he promised it anyway banking on the ignorance of people like you. Pls grow up and come back when your prefrontal cortex has fully developed.

Exactly. Ontario premier vows to cut off electricity to 1.5 million American households if Trump’s tariffs on candao goes through. Is that not an example of not thinking things through? I bet you his thought process didn’t go far enough to wonder about the consequences of such proclamations before he started making them. grandstar: |
Dark magic indeed |
Pocky sticks with M&M edible Christmas art by the kiddos.
|
basilico:If you knew all this why did you support Trump? His plan was to proclaim the inflation down. With no actually policies. Except the disastrous tariffs. Which he didn’t even understand what they meant. As a matter of fact he seemed like he didn’t even know the definition of word grocery with the way he was asking “groceries who even used that word”. Man had no clue what was talking about and y’all stood staunchly behind him. Sigh. Don’t even bother The question was for Raum. I want to know what he thinks about your sudden acceptance of higher taxes. |
Yep. Straight out of fascist playbook Maeve7: |
folake4u:Amen my sister |
Maeve7:Yep. That “we hate big government” rhetoric falls flat on its face if they’re over there supporting the govt meddling in women’s menstrual cycles and pregnancies |
Meanwhile South Carolina just refiled their equal protection bill that seeks to regard zygotes, embryos and fetuses the same as humans. Such that if the pregnant woman does anything to risk the lives of the unborn, she could be prosecuted as if she walked into the neighbors house and shot them. Anything could include, heavy duty jobs, air travel, certain antibiotics or other medical treatment intended for the woman that ends up harming the fetus. It’s left to the discretion of the judge who may not even know the difference between the fallopian tube and the ovaries. Women who are grieving the loss of a wanted pregnancy will be further assaulted by this insulting charade of “seeking justice for the unborn”. Women in physically tasking jobs will be torn between quitting their jobs and depending on a man (if they even have a man) or staying and potentially facing a jury for endangering their unborn. They’re aiming for American Afghanistan at this rate. If you’re in South Carolina, call your representatives and ask them to vote against this bill. What a mess. |
DeepSight: indeed |
folake4u:my level no reach 😭 |
Maeve7:As if woke is a pejorative 🤣 |
. folake4u:Don’t mind them. Welldone to you and others on the thread, Ichie Coco.Ichie 🤣 |
GloriousGbola:Nope. He said he started from the bottom like all of us. It’s the classic move up and forget about where you came from syndrome that’s prevalent in the conservative world. The things they call handouts and socialism today were beneficial to them on their way up. If they truly started from the bottom, there’s no way at some point they didn’t benefit from those things. Even if on a small scale. In the school I attended, there were grants and scholarships for students who NEEDED THE FINANCIAL AID and maintained above 3.5 out 4.0 gpa. I’m proud to say I don’t have student loans because of the generosity of the people who funded those programs. All I had to do was study hard. There’s no self made person in America. Now that I can give back to the school to help fund up-coming students, if I were a Republican I’d call it a handout. And say their parents should have planned better. |
folake4u:If you guys let republicans talk long enough they’ll show you who they truly are. We didn’t move to America and all of a sudden decide to abandon all traditional values in place of “wokeness” like they love to insinuate. After you’ve had a few conversations with them, you’ll quickly come to realization that if they had their way, the country you moved to will rapidly adopt the negative aspects of the country you moved away from because of the kind of policies they support. There’s something to be said for adopting the best aspects of each system but they don’t want to hear that. |
basilico:Raumdueter what do you think of this statement from your guy here? |
We told them this before they voted. They said that’s what they wanted. It’ll be worth it if they can say the libs lost. I guess 🤷🏽♀️ grandstar: |
IbeOkehie:You have to be joking. You have routinely over multiple posts implied and outrightly stated that people who talk about inequality, systemic racism and injustices are playing the victims. You’ve said that those things should not be taken into consideration when accounting for class mobility. Now you turned around to use the “it’s an organization against black people” line in your argument. Do you not see how contradictory that is? Why should anyone believe that you care about something that was “formed against black people” when you don’t even believe such things are of any significance to the race. You’ve made it seem like the fate of black people in America has been entirely up to them and not a result of whatever might have happened to them in the past. You don’t get to turn around and want to use that in your argument. Look man I haven’t spoken out of turn to you. You want to stop engaging because you don’t like when something you said is presented to you the way you said it, that’s fine. But don’t say it’s my tone or whatever excuse you want to use. I am innocent. Thanks for the discourse so far. Take care. |
IbeOkehie:Now you care about injustice to black communities? 🤣 |
budaatum:That’s why I don’t argue with men about abortion. Sorry to the supportive guys out there but even when some guys mean well or are neutral like Ibe claims he is, you can’t get them to make the necessary connections on why it’s critical to women’s health and future. He’s providing stats to show that planned parenthood gave more abortions to black women as if to say it’s a national conspiracy. These women weren’t forced. I’m sure he knows that; 1) a lot of low income communities use planned parenthood for general gynecological care including preventative care. 2) majority of black women grew up in low income communities hence it makes sense if they’re the ones being served more by this organization. Doesn’t mean other race of women in other communities aren’t getting abortions in their communities. I’m sure if he tried just a little, he would be able to make the connection between access to planned parenthood and the rising number of black women who’ve been able to get out of the hood by completing high school and graduating college without unplanned pregnancies holding them back. |
Would you look at that. What a testament to the benefits of having programs for the under dog. It’s not bleeding hearted “liberalness”. It’s actually what makes America great. Not rugged individualism. GloriousGbola: |
GloriousGbola:They always say leave it to the states. Abolishing slavery? Leave it to the states. (They actually went to war to fight for their right to keep black people as slaves) Federally funded Education? Leave it to the states Federally funded Affordable Healthcare? No leave it to the employer Abortion rights ? Leave it to the states If we leave everything to the states, why are we the United States ? |
GloriousGbola:That’s the end goal. These ones think since they’ve escaped lower class status, then it’s okay if others don’t get the same opportunity to escape. There are so many dirt poor counties in America that any hope of education for those kids will have to be through federal funding. Otherwise forget it. Ironically they acknowledge that America is great. And that grass to grace stories abound. These Federal programs are some of the things that make it possible. |
