This happened to a friend of mine. Infact, his own was at the registry where they went to do the court marriage. He was stuck in traffic and got there late only for the lady to start screaming at him in the presence of his family and hers. This was a woman that had never shouted at him before even when he had done worse. He felt really embarrassed but that was just the beginning.
The marriage lasted only 9 months. Almost a year now and he is yet to get over it. He said the incidence at the Court was just a sign from God because at that time he had seen another side of her he had never seen before and considered not going through with it. |

@CruzAj I'm really shocked about your delay because your application seems perfect and its how I intend to do mine.
Anyway, have you paid tuition for the school? Did you submit your personal statement of account? Maybe your age might also be a factor because if you are over 25 you shouldn't really be too dependent on family....you should have your personal SOA which you can combine with that of a sponsor. Maybe if you also had a parent bearing same surname as a sponsor it could help.
Just my one kobo. |

redribs: Hey, Cocolav! Kepner is right. You pay per semester. I agree that the tuition thing on the website could be rather confusing but that's because it's just an average estimate as they are able to change anytime and it varies for individual students. Check your program requirements to know how long your course will run for. Most masters programs require 30 credits to graduate in UOttawa and you can take up to 15 credits per semester. So it depends on how you wanna spread out your courses. You might also need to know that the minimum is 6 credits per semester (except in the summer). Courses in the summer are very few and tuition for this semester will be charged per registered course (other semesters you pay a fixed tuition for any number of courses you decide to take).
All the best. Hey, thanks for your reply. My program duration is 4 sessions and its for 2 years. (Although it seems some people finish in 2-3 sessions) My masters is actually by research so I won't be taking many courses, don't know what tuition plan will apply to me and I would really hate to bother my supervisor seeing as he isn't the admission officer. I really need a reply from the school so I can pay up and start the visa process. |

internetpirate: My dear, I have never been this angry in years! I hate threats of any kind! If I make a threat, I'd stake my life to keep to it! The tone and the choice of words by the so-called Oba makes my blood boil! I am Ekpokamalu Igirigi Olaabali, an Ohafia son. We have never been people to be threatened!
But thanks! Your response has served to calm me down a bit! I'm truly tired of this politics of ethnicity and tribalism in Nigeria! May God help us! It's particularly scary because our youths and intellectuals (who should know better) are endorsing it and fanning the ambers of discord!
My apologies if I my anger showed to much! Lol @ bolded. On a more serious note, its saddening what this country has turned into. Our youths who are supposed to promote unity, peace and progress are the ones fanning the embers of discord. |

Adegbodolu1: We Yorubas must go back to the drawing board and be prepared to kill the cowards among us.
It is time to sort out this Igbo problem. The Igbos were welcomed visitors but they have slowly turned to enemies.
We must be prepared to fight and KILL our enemy, its a simple rule of existence. They are now going way too far and must be curtailed.
They are "head-strong" because we have chosen to treat them with gentility. Our attitude towards them because of the guilt of seeing their suffering during the civil war now needs to change.
Look at all the insults passed on our OBA.................
We must destroy their economic base in our land.....simple Abegi After you remove your shirt and dance around a few times while muttering incoherently what will happen? NEXT!!! |
