Doogee Mix 2 smartphone announced with tri bezel-less design, which we have seen the same design in the Mi Mix 2 smartphone. The Doogee Mix 2 is the successor of the previously launched the Doogee Mix, which has used the same design of Xiaomi Mi Mix. This brand is releasing the high-end specification of the devices with very less price. It is the third smartphone from the company in the Mix series followed by Doogee Mix and Doogee Mix Lite. It comes powered by an Android 7.1 Nougat operating system with pre-installed applications and would support a dual SIM phone carried by a 4G LTE network. Like Mi Mix 2, this phone is also offering two models like 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM, which both models are housed with 128GB of internal storage, which also supported the microSD card slot up to 128GB. The other standard connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, GPS navigation support and more. Like Mi Mix 2, this device also not providing the 3.5mm audio jack but we can connect earphones by using a Type-C port. This phone is provided the fingerprint sensor which is located below the rear camera and also supports 3D facial recognition to secure to unlock your device.

According to video, the upcoming bezel-less display smartphone Ulefone Mix, the company has made a comparison with the recently launched Apple iPhone 8 & iPhone 8 Plus smartphones. The Ulefone Mix comes with a 90.2% screen-to-body ration, which we have seen the same screen-to-body ration on Mi Mix smartphone and would also offer a 5.5-inch ON-CELL display technology with optical transmissivity, which would deliver immersive & larger visual experience. According to an image, this phone comes with extremely thin bezels on the sides & above of the display and also placed a front-facing camera right side below the screen, just like Mi Mix and Doogee Mix smartphones. Also, the home button is located below the display which is integrated with the fingerprint sensor for unlocking a smartphone. As of now, we don’t have any other details about the upcoming edge-to-edge smartphone and is the company is planning to launch very soon. We have been able to confirm that gionee m7 will be launched in China on the 25th of this month, But so far we don't have a complete specification of this smartphone.

What we know so far

The coming Gionee m7 will spot a near bezel-less display, as we know bezel-less display has become sort of a trend in smartphone industry this year.

Will be running on Android 7.1 Nougat and support for a single-SIM slot.

it has been tipped to feature a 6-inch full-HD (1080x2160 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

The smartphone is expected to be powered by MediaTek Helio P30 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and ARM-Mali-G71 GPU.

The internal storage capacity of the Gionee M7 has been tipped to be 64GB. In terms of optics, the smartphone is expected to spot a 16-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and flash support. Some of the camera features include 4K video, face detection, HDR photo, and touch focus. At front, there is tipped to be an 8-megapixel front camera..

Sick of a friend’s non-stop vacation photos? Bored of hearing about some business Page’s big launch? One of your groups won’t shut up about their upcoming get-together? Now Facebook has a Snooze button that lets you temporarily unfollow friends, Pages, or Groups for 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days.

The Snooze button could deter people from permanently unfollowing, unliking, or unfriending things on Facebook, while still giving them control over what they see. Facebook benefits from you maintaining a dense social network, whether for ad targeting, or just surfacing an important life update from a distant acquaintance. So now when you’re annoyed with someone or something, you can solve the problem without severing the connection.

TechCrunch spotted Snooze this morning on Facebook’s desktop site in the US, and are awaiting comment from the company about the status of the feature. We’ll update when we hear back.

To Snooze someone, tap the drop0down arrow in the top right of someone’s post. Now instead of just an unfollow option, there’s “Unfollow or Snooze”. Tap that, and you can choose whether you want to Snooze someone for a day, a week, a month, or permanently unfollow them.

Facebook has been trying to settle in on the best way to let you control the News Feed without being confusing. In 2012 it offered a “See Less” option on friends’ profiles. But eventually Facebook found this was puzzling for users, since they’d still see that person in their feed, so it wasn’t clear if the option actually did anything. By 2014, Facebook had dropped “See Less” in favor of a definitive “Unfollow” button that let you stay friends but banish them from your feed.

With Snooze, it’s found a way to decrease the noise from a chatty person, group, or Page in a way that’s obvious and intuitive, but doesn’t prohibit Facebook from showing you their most important posts further down the line.


Pages and Groups may benefit from Snooze, since it could reduce the chances of someone unliking or leaving them. But it should also inspire them not to overshare or spam, otherwise they could be put in time-out.

Facebook already constantly modulates how much you see of someone based on implicit signals like if you Like, click, comment on, or share their posts. It will surely use Snoozing as a signal that it should show you less of someone when they’re allowed to reappear. But if we’re going to spend so much of our lives browsing the News Feed curated by Facebook’s faceless algorithm, it’s nice to see the company equip us humans with more than just binary controls.

If you mistakenly send a message to someone on WhatsApp next time, just chill because the popular messaging app's much anticipated "unsend" feature is rolling out soon to all users.


According to WABetaInfo, a fan site that tests new WhatsApp features early, the messaging app is finally testing the "Delete for Everyone" feature.

"The server finally works and it successfully recalls the message. It will be remotely enabled later and seen that WhatsApp 'enabled' their servers for the Delete for Everyone feature, it may really be enabled soon," said WABetaInfo in a tweet.

With this feature, the users will be able to recall or unsend texts, images, videos, GIFs, documents, quoted messages and even status replies within a five-minute window, The Independent reported on Tuesday.

However, messages that have already been read or sent more than five minutes ago cannot be recalled through this feature. The feature will be available for both the Android and iOS platforms.

"WhatsApp has added in beta the possibility to edit messages that you already sent. It is actually disabled by default and it's under development," an earlier WABetaInfo's tweet read.

The users will be able to edit only recent messages and not the old ones.

With over 1.2 billion monthly active users, WhatsApp is available in more than 50 different languages around the world and in 10 Indian languages.

According to consulting firm Counterpoint Research, Huawei has surpassed Apple for the first time in global sales, making them the #2 smartphone brand in the world, for the time being. While Huawei is not the most popular brand here in the US, the China-based OEM has great presence in Asia, Europe and Latin America, big enough to take away Apple’s positioning.

As I hinted, this rank may not last forever, though. Because Huawei has little presence in the US (maybe not for long), Apple could overtake with the upcoming launch of its new iPhones.

Detailed in the graph, both Huawei and Apple sit a little above 10%. In a world full of countless smartphone brands, that’s pretty good. However, in a world with Samsung, who has a presence in every market imaginable, it’s hard to compete if marketshare is the only thing you’re trying to compare.

Even though Samsung has the most marketshare, they do not have the most popular smartphone. That award belongs to Apple with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, being #1 and #2, respectively. In fact, on that list, Samsung ranks at #5 (Galaxy S8), with OPPO holding the #3 and #4 spots. Beyond that, we have Xiaomi, then more Samsung and Apple rounding out the top 10 popular devices in the world.

If you’re Huawei, the moral of the story is, take the US market seriously. Get on carriers, market your device heavily, and pray the device is well received. After the Nexus 6P launch, Huawei had a real shot at brand recognition, at least among American Android nerds, but things will only get harder the longer Huawei waits. If reports are accurate, and AT&T does intend to carry a Huawei flagship next year, that could be a big deal.
