Why are the senators believe the document was forged not the ones taking the senate president and vice president to court.

Are they the one pressing charges? If so we want to know who and who believe it is forged and those who don't. Let's know where each senator belongs, there is no neutrality here, everyone must belong to camp and take a stand.

FORGED or NOT FORGED.

US should present the proof of this allegation.

These guys might be guilty but the US must produce the proof and not just a letter accusing these guys.

The guy that is accused of grabbing a Maid might be allittle easy to proof except something else happened in that room.

We want proof, that's not too much to ask for.

That is not how they do things in the U.S. It doesn't matter who, but if a complaint is made about you, they take the accuser's word before yours, then suspend you so you don't interfere with the investigation. It by no means mean you are guilty. It's just how they do things.

Fair enough if they have hard evidence. I just feel it would have been fair they are confronted with the evidence first before this kind of embarrassment.

With that this particular guy would not be able to write this long rebuttal knowing that if he is confronted with hard evidence he won't be able to bribe his way out if they really want to get them barred from entering the US.

I know the disdain we have for these lawmakers will make us believe a lie against them just to get one over them.

He has not been convicted. It is standard practice in the states to suspend a person before an investigation. If he was guilty, trust me, he would not have been allowed to leave the country.
I have no problem with suspension while investigation is ongoing. But the guy claims he has never been invited and the allegations were made after he/they left the US.

It seems they only need to hear the allegations and assume he/they were guilty.

Atleast the first level of investigation should hearing both sides before even any action of suspension would be taken and that's if there is incontrovertible evidence that he was involved.

The argument is basically about whether white players are more technical than black players and the it becomes more interesting because we can't seem to agree who is black, mixed or Arab.

Neymar said he aint black, Zidane is Arab, are players who have one white and one black parent black, white or mixed and how the supposed complexion of a player affects his technicality.

Depends on how diff people view things. We could say the Russians did well to come out with a draw even with their injury crisis.

This is England we are talking about here, so much expectations everytime but always come short and other teams know them and will play till the last minute know it is the 3lions they are facing.

The Russian equalizer was not a fluke, the ball wass purposely crossed in and an attempt was made which lead to the goal, that Hart was in no mans land or cahil and smalling did not pick up the player that headed the ball is not Russia's biz.

GBR1:
It depends on how pull Mourinho has( at least far better than LVG's) and if he can sell the project to Pogba. We might not get Pogba but we are a far more attractive destination now for players than we've or would have been under LVG. If Jose pulls this one even at any price, it's gonna be a massive coup given that Madrid are so interested and Zidane actually wants him.
At this stage if Madrid REALLY want a player like Pogba, do we have a chance? Mourinho and Man U is definitely a good appeal to players but it will be hard to get players at the top of their game to come to OT especially if the other club that want them also have pedigree, CL football and the wanted player's present club qualified for CL.

It would be tough. Like u said it would a coup if Mou actually gets Pogba.

Regardless of any law that allows anybody including herdmen to wander into any country, it is the responsibility of any govt to protect it citizens.

So assassins, Terrorist, serial killers and all what not can come into Nigeria and do their business because ECOWAS guaranties free Movement.

Free movement even when your citizens are being murdered. so if this govt ever declares curfew in Nigeria it can be challenged based on the rubbish ECOWAS transhuman protocol.

PoliticsRe: Ultimate Warriors of Niger Delta Emerges, Demands 60% Oil Bloc by codedguy1(m): 10:34pm On Jun 08, 2016
YoursGEJ:
Don't they also want all corruption charges against ND politicians who stole money to be dropped?

The problem of the Niger Delta is found in their own house. These states get 13% derivation from crude oil sales. Before you say that is not enough, just look at the infrastructure that has been developed by Akwa Ibom (good roads everywhere, world-class hospital and stadium) and Cross River states (Tinapa, Obudu, etc). You'll rarely hear of militant/criminal activities in these two states

Ok lets look at Delta, Rivers and Bayelsa states where militancy are concentrated. These states are the highest beneficiaries from the 13% derivation rule, collecting trillions of Naira since it was implemented. Do you hear of life-changing infrastructure being built with the money? No. What we hear is Alamesigha dressed as a woman to escape bail from UK, Peter Odili granted perpetual injunction against arrest, James Ibori in jail in UK (forfeiting hundreds of millions of pounds meant to develop his state to the UK that does not even need the money), etc. Furthermore, their own son was president for six years and he could not implement a single project in his own village not to talk of his state belente his geographical zone.

Yet, criminals from these particular three states (Delta being the main one), continue to blame 'lack of federalism' while asking for corruption charges to be dropped against thieves like them. Akwa Ibom and Cross River are leaving you people behind and I don't see the same 'lack of federalism' holding them back. SMH.

If you give Delta, Rivers and Bayelsa their own country, they will loot themselves dry and still blame the poor Hausa man in Bauchi who's farming onions. People in the ND need to hold their leaders accountable while also looking at the mirror.

Rant over
I share most of your sentiments and the truth is our leaders in the ND are thieves and rogues that are bereft of ideas to develop the region. But we have people that can do the right thing to revamp that ND with the capital, mineral and human resources we have.

But my point is what would be the business of other regions if we generate our own wealth and fritter it away it would be our business to solve. It the whole middle belt is generating 500B Naira a year from agric, tourism, Ajaokuta steel complex and mineral resources in their area and managed well, what would be the business of the MB if SS generate 1trillion dollars a year and fritter it away. It would not be their business and they would not be able to hold other regions to ransome by blowing up the ONLY source of income.

Infact shame will make them realise that things have to change.

Rice Maize Cassava can be the crude oil in other regions.

Think about it, the amount of people that eat cassava, maize and Rice can be compared with people that use fuel. These things are also money spinners from other Zones, talkless about feeding west Africa.

We need to diversify by collapsing the unitary system and yes hold leaders accountable.

@emboldened
This is the sentiment across Niger Delta, 50% should be used to develop the Niger Delta while Nigeria share the remaining 50%.
I might be a little too harsh but why should the rest of Nigeria share 50% of the oil from the ND. That presupposes we are still dependent on oil 100%

What happens to the mineral resources in other regions? Every region should develop what is residing in their region, simple. It will make everyone work towards self sustainance much more than any 50% share from the oil.

Agriculture, mineral resources, tourism can take care of each region if we know what we are doing.

I dare say that the money gotten from selling fuel can be matched with proceeds from agriculture that would make those producing the agric products to live comfortably.

Nigerias story is like a 6 brothers whose parent helped their first son to get a lucrative job where he earns 1M a moth and then shares it with his brothers, because he is the one working he gets 300k and the rest share the remaining 700k somewhat equally.

They are reluctanct to get a job that they would earn 500k a month each which is better than the 150k they get from their brothers sweat just because they feel the eldest who is the one working will now have the 1M to himself.

Stupidity at its peak.

Ha na everybody jose wan sell be that na.

But to be frank apart from shaw and whom I feel should be given a chance, and Valencia the rest, if sold will not be a big loss..

But do we need to do this amount of clearout in one season when we actually need more players. Another thing is I have observed that jose usually uses few set of players to prosecute his campaign when he usually fields strong teams even for small competitions.
