debosky:
Ade talks too much, but he spoke the truth, how can you possibly imagine you are winning 4-2 and drop two goals?? It is terrible

The truth is, we are NOT going to win the league this season for a number of reasons - AW will NOT buy the needed reinforcements in January, even if he does, the player will not be allowed to get into the side till at least March, and by then the title bid would be officially over for us.

Make no mistakes about it - AW tried to do something by alluding that Gallas and Silvestre could be a good CB pairing ( in effect dropping Kolo), but obviously Gallas' head is still in the clouds, he was no where to be found on any of those goals, not marking the last man, not staying tight on the free striker. Now Gallas is 'injured' again, so it may be Kolo +silvestre or Kolo and Djourou even, who knows? AW has made a right mess of things here, there's no doubt about it.

People keep saying it's just 10 games and that other sides are not firing on full cylinders - do the other sides have shambolic defending like ours? Granted Liverpool has conceded a whole lot this season, but they've had the discipline to go on and WIN the games - I don't have too much of an issue with conceding, as long as you tighten up and win the games.

Some people will come back here and say the team is back on track if/when they beat Stoke, STOKE!!!! That shows how low we've sunk, that beating anyone now will be seen as a sign of getting our challenge back on track. In the easiest 10 game stretch we will have all season, we bungle it and drop 10 points, do that over the course of the season and you'll end up with an additional 56 points, leading to a total of 76 - a massive 7 points lower than last season, which on current evidence will be fortunate to get us into 4th.
No pun intended, The Bolded is the real Reason why any chance of Arsenal winning the title would be very slim.

Unless the other top teams simultaneously have a terrible run.

Tomorrow's game is win or bust if we don't beat those guys then we should just forget about this league
Dr KIT (where the hell is he?) forgot bout winning the title right from last season, when he saw Hleb and Flamini leave and Wenger stingyly and stubbornly refused to get formidable/experienced replacement.

Debosky has just realised Arsenal cant win the league this season.

The result against stoke will not tell the whole story. Arsenal is expected to win that match, hope When/if you do it gives u some of your mojo back. grin

yeah Nani gave CR7 the pass but that doesnt justify the ease at which he looses possession. in the second half, almost all his passes went to the opponents. Lastly i hope Hull will play an attacking football instead of putting ten men behind the ball.
Any tactics they adopt will be dangerous for them.

They would'nt want to loose to Man U after the disaster with Chelsea. Thats why they will WANT  grin to come out.

@ Mancs grin

Nice things happened Yesterday against WH.

Berba showed what class he is, that move he did on the line was classic, especially as it led to a Goal.

Tevez played 90mins and gave a good account.

Ronnie is back scoring Goals, this should boost his thirst for more goals.

We saw the Quartet on the field, hope they improve on the threat they really possess.

Carrick is back.

We did not concede.

@tkb417

Exactly ma thoughts!

Lets just hope they come out to play. That will be their undoing.

What do you guys think the line up would be like.

Tevez has to start this one, watchu think?

If he does what would the attack look like. Who is to be dropped? Berba, Rooney, Ronnie!!!

would sum it up as not playing well if almost half of the team were disappoointing.

Rooney & Ronnie were disoppoiting, i agree.
Rio was making some uncharacteristic mistakes.
Park practically disappeared from the game.
Nani, Didn't see him.
Berba, Plays at the same level, wether the tempo of the game is high or low. huh

All these were especially glaring in the second half.

@ j-k

yes that first goal, na vex the guy take blast that ball, the 2nd, vintage Berba.

Anyways i think the team is beginning to gel, though i dont think they have reached full throttle, but we shud expect them to put in a nice string of wins in the Prem to atleast start to unnerve chelsea.

We have young talents in almost every position mixed with experience, Something a certain Wenger has just realised he does not have in Europe shocked

Personally I'D hoped that we'D take max adv of our fairly easy(huh) opponents in the early stages of the season to grab as many points (and GDs)as possible before Nov when we'D have to square up against manscum,Villa and Chelshit before hosting Liverfluke the following month.

Prof has complained about the wastefulness of our more established strikers and threatened to wield the big axe(whatever that meanThough Le s),I want our players to up the ante in our subsequent matches, show greater hunger in front of goal, contest every contestable ball, close down every space on the pitch, mark tighter and be more alert while defending set pieces.Play everygame like their very lives depended on it.

Finally whatever AW and his lads do,I will NEVER forgive them if they fumble against spuds on Oct 29(now that's one fixture, the thought alone of which makes me grin, and woe betide anyone figurring to turn my grin to a frown on that day)
Sometimes you guys talk a if the other teams players have no brain.

ok, what if the opposing team coach gives his players the same instructions, What do you think will happen.

The lose to hull must be really painfull, but we shud realise that for a team that is new to the Prem they are doing very well. Arsenal have themselves to blame because they also played a good game creating chances and doing what they know how to do best(passing the ball) but the finishing was poor to say the least and i dont think Adebayor, RVP,CESC etc gave up, things just did not happen for them.

Arsenal Always has a decent start in recent season and still fall short, so what will happen now that they are dropping points right from the beginning. Arsenal is also known for gettiing points with last minute goals to earn a points, but it will get to a time last minute goals will elude them, Hull(fulham) are examples.

it is early, but with the way things are going, as sure as we are that Hull will not win the prem, thats how sure tat Arsenal will not win this season. its not a dooms day prediction, but this season they must produce something somewhat extraordinary to win it and right now, team composition, spirit, Bench, Fans and even coach sef grin are not really confident, frustration might be the right word here.

what the coaches think on the lines does not matter cos the refs decision is final, whether its the right call or not.

Listen guys, we lost to Hull who came and did a job. They scored two goals and defended very well.

Combined with some wasteful strikers that has led to the 2nd defeat at Emirates.

We need to play as we did in the last 10 minutes from the very start, once we are 3-0 up, then you can relax.

Our lack of a defender who likes heading the ball is going to kill us, at least Senderos was not allergic to heading a ball unlike these so called "ball playing" defenders.
