His musa's replacement in the national team... You'll continue to see him until he reaches 100 caps for the Super Eagles.

One of things we teach young players is versatility and you will find players taking on board several different positions. That means two footed proficiency as well.

That means even in the game you can switch from attack to defence and vice Versa. What makes Ngole Kante the best is his ability to switch roles in a second turning attack to defence in seconds.

Trent Alexander was predominantly a Midfielder at Liverpool, but opportunity came at RB and he has redefined the role, arguably the best RB in the world. He has the most assists in the EPL. That not withstanding a little drop in form and he lost his position in the England team.

You are trying to pidgin hole him into one role. The reality is he isn't good enough for the SE, there is reason he has kept dropping club and league to end up anonymous in the Segunda Division.

It can't be dressed up.
Trent is a pacy player which makes him versatile and a completely different player from Nwakali so it's not wise to compare them . Kante is a multi talented midfielder that can make tackles, interceptions, dribbling, runs with the ball e.t.c

Nigeria has aribo, Aina, ihenacho e.t.c who make runs with the ball and if nwakali plays that way often Nigeria's defense will be broken up easily.

Nwakali came to England on the exception allowed for work permit, which is exceptional talent. He was supposedly the best in the world from the U17 world cup.

Nwakali came on the same framework as KC. However, Arsenal discovered he was not as good as they had speculated. I mean they signed him on a 5 year contract.

When he arrived Saka, Smith Row, Falorin were 12/13 Willock and Maitland were his age group and he wasn't better or up to thier level.

Nwakali needs to first of show quality in his club and league he has played in Europe for five years plus and nobody has considered him good enough. That's why he has remained in the Segunda even his stats are not encouraging. What is surprising is how he got into the SE.

I don't know a Championship side that will take him even league one it will not be easy for him.

So he needs to really up his game, you don't come to the SE to learn football you come to showcase it.
From what I've seen Nwakali is a central midfielder not an attacking midfielder and a Mikel obi type of a player --- a player who was an attacking midfielder in his youth but has become more of a central midfielder..

At least he was making runs with the ball and playing for the team and also maybe playing too safe for some people on this thread.

All these Nwakali slander. Is it not the lad that had given 3 accurate long balls in this same half and even had a driving move just now setting up iwobi on the wings?

His distribution was very tidy and he alongside Iwobi made us keep the ball more in the middle.

We struggled to do this in the first half. Iwobi and Nwakali steps in and we were neat in pass recyles but ofcos people that don't know ball must slander.

Superficial observers. grin
Nwakali also needs international caps for countries like England that have laws in place against players who don't have international caps. Sadiq , olayinka also needs international caps.

If you know what kind of sacrifices that Igbos have given to there southern brothers ;including the Yorubas ;you wount say all this;without Ndigbo resistance according to Obasanjo Nigeria would have been Islamitzed long time ago by the Fulanis;reason why they hate Ndigbo so much;
AD party (Action Group) was not even a strong national political party; prior to 2015; an Igbo man Ogbonaya Onu stepped down; a strong Igbo national party to help ;pilot AD to form APC to help the Yoruba race.the Igbo and Yoruba have a magic synergy that appears not to exist among any other nationality in Nigeria: in the work places, in housing estates, in shanties, in schools, market places, beer parlours, face-me-I-face-you and above all in the spiritual realm, mainly churches. Material and cosmic relations bring them together and even bind them almost in ways inseparable.

In the past few years, the number of inter-marriages between Igbo and Yoruba have tripled. The third generation of Igbo in Yoruba territories speaks Yoruba as their first language. Many of them when they travel to the East and are to return would say they were ‘going back home’. Even if Biafra emerges today I do not see how the cordial relationship between Igbo and Yoruba would be a minus. In Yoruba villages, Igbo have remarkable dominion.

To upturn this amazing cobweb for any reason is tactless, reckless and irresponsible. On both sides, there are extremists, . It is the responsibility of leaders on both sides, young and old, men and women, armed and defenseless people alike, to exterminate base instincts and advance values that protect and glorify the lowest and highest common factors of unity and prosperity between the two great empires.

This should be the stand of any responsible people or individuals. This is the position that will advance humanity and protect the heritage of the two great nations
Fula:nis hide behind is:lam they worship c:ows which means c:ow is their g:od...

Obj was only massaging the ego of igbos.

was it the north that told K:aduna Nzeogwu to do the below ( gotten from wi:ki ):

"According to a Nigerian Police Special Branch Report, Nzeogwu executed at least 4 army and police security personnel including one of the men on his team (Sergeant Daramola Oyegoke). Nzeogwu also participated in the execution of Col. Raph Shodeinde, his superior officer at the Nigerian Military Training College and is reported to have shot indiscriminately at fleeing women and children.."..

the statement above shows pure hatred for Yorubas and a lot of igbos all have this similar behavior towards Yorubas..

My friend (1+1=2) ;
Think about the economic strength ,wealth and employments that a railway line; from Lagos to Onitsha; will create; and calculate, the profit and employments opportunities, that a railway line, from Kano to Maradi ,will create;then you have your answer.
Thank you.
this is your own thinking...

the reason for my first comment is people from different ethnic nations usually want to dominate the other ethnic nation so unless there is a signed agreement between the SW and SE on how it will be operated and how revenue will be shared then it's okay... but normally one ethnic nation will want to gain more than the other..

Another reason for my comment is Igbo have never partnered with the SW and when they had the opportunity in the 1960s they wanted to take control of the western region through been premier and when that didn't work out they attacked the SW... the same thing happened with the Ijaws after oil was discovered in Bayelsa, all the igbo leaders had to do was give the ijaws more control and percentage of the oil but they wanted it for Igbos only.

In summary, Igbos when they are trying to be in a business relationship with other southern ethnic nations including the Yoruba the Igbos will always want total control over such business relationship and subjugate non-igbos...

I always felt it is unnecessary. Awka to Enugu is less than an hour albeit the bad roads. So if efforts are made to fix the roads, flights will be landing in Enugu for Anambra North and central. Then Anambra South will be using Owerri airport.

Say you land in this Anambra airport, the terrible state of Anambra State roads will ensure you spend hours moving from Onitsha to Ekwulọbịa
Please for your own good teach your brain to be happy when you see positive infrastructural developments in a place and also teach your brain to be happy that someone is progressing and that people are successful.

remove negative thoughts and opinions from your mentality...

Think about the economic wealth; Nigeria could have earned ;by constructing a railway line ;from Onitsha commercial city; to Lagos another commercial city .;Rather they are building a railway line from Kanu to Maradi -Niger republic.
Hatred;ethnic bigots ;The reason why Nigeria will remain; the poverty capital of the world;
We borrow money for consumption;other nations borrow money to invest; in her people; giving small business loans to-Tailor's,mechanics,local furniture makers, farmers,;creative innovators;scholarships for students, doctors, nurses, pharmacist, engineering, etc;building avenues for the future ;and a better taxpayers; for repayment of loans.
Think Economy not a Caliphate.
what you're writing is for the two major ethnic nations ( Igbo and Yoruba ) in the south to key into and bring into reality..

it is wrong to think that someone of a different ethnicity wants what's good for another person from another ethnicity...

it will be better if the SE first builds a railway connecting all the SE states together, the same for the SW to build railway connecting all the SW states together before thinking about building from one ethnic nation to another ethnic nation.

They are to encamp by the sea, directly opposite Baal Zephon. 3 Pharaoh will think, ‘The Israelites are wandering around the land in confusion, hemmed in by the desert.’ 4 And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will pursue them. I'm telling you. Those generations really suffered....raw human labour. Without them, there wouldn't have been the future, which us now. The whole world built on the Egyptian architecture for generations, which we're all applying today. They were so powerful in magic, science and idolatry that, they never believed in God, the creator. They even believed when one dies, the person continues to live in the afterlife. They Bury them with all manners of gifts, including slaves who would be helping them in afterlife, especially if that person is a notable person like their Kings.
They believe in God... Just not the Eur:opean gods jes:us and mo:h that you worship..

They didn't have slaves.

The way you spend time to watch TV series, football and other TV shows in 2022 is the same way they also spend time to practice and master their crafts and skillsets everyday in their era..

If kids are registered in football and other sports academies at age 9 and below in 2022.. that means in their era kids were also learning blacksmith, cutting metals , block and stone building,
sculpting and other skills at a very young age and by the time they become adults there will be at least 1000 adults with this skills and craftsmanship..

Unlike the theory you and millions of people are focused on in 2022 they in their era started doing practicals from a young age.

Your response is as a result of a classic case of the black man's disease: that of quick forgetting.
Forgetting that:
- he is the weakest race on earth
- every other race wishes to enslave him
- NO OTHER race is in a state of economic and spiritual darkness like ours
- that the white man and Arab do not intend that light of knowledge and progress comes to the land of the African without acute struggle
- that in our relationship with the pale skins, we always have the lower end of the stick, unless wisdom and cunning becomes imbibed by us.
If black people are the weakest race on earth, diseases will have killed every black person on earth, all the wars the eu:ropeans waged against Africans will have killed off all Africans but the eu:ropeans realized they needed traitors among Africans to penetrate Africa.
If every other race wishes to enslave black people they will be killed off..
there are many countries that are in a state of economic and spiritual darkness.
Africans already have their native languages so they already have knowledge and progress from their own languages.
Africans have never gotten any thing from eu:ropeans not even the lower end of the stick... the only thing Africans have gotten from eu:ropeans is how to self-destruct...
Africans are wise and cunning so it doesn't need to be imbibed by Africans..

One important way to reduce unemployment is by attracting foreign investors. No matter how many foreign workers they employ they must directly or indirectly create jobs for the locals and pay taxes on top. So lets look at the big picture and not let tribal instincts control us.
Foreign investors who ensure majority of their employees are foreigners are not reducing unemployment they're increasing unemployment..

Foreign investors take the profits back to their country.. profits are always higher than taxes..

taxes are crumbs compared to profits.. which means taxes are lower than profits.

It's always a thing to blame foreigners working in your country but they always provide more jobs than they take generally. We have way too many poor people to be worried about the very few jobs these foreigners take. Driving foreigners away from jobs has never worked out well for any African country. Its only always popular cus the indigenes think they will take over their jobs. Kinda hope pursuing igbo from some areas in the north only made those areas poorer.
A foreigner is paid $3000 ( ₦1,233,600 ) per month. while a more qualified Nigerian is paid ₦90, 000 per month in Nigeria...

that means the monthly salary of 1 foreigner can employ an additional 12 Nigerians who are paid ₦90, 000 per month...

you say we have to many poor people yet to be worried about " few jobs these foreigners take"... from the above explanation, the foreigners are the ones making sure Nigeria has many poor people because by bringing in these foreigners they are helping the foreign countries by reducing the foreign countries unemployment situation while increasing Nigeria's unemployment situation which leads to poverty.
