How can you just wake up one day and say you want to claim it all? Do you think if Federal government can finish Ajaokuta steel for Kogi State, the state will ever care about Niger Delta oil for survival? But can the state finishes the project? No.

Most Nigerians on the other hand think we can live by selling resources and sharing the revenues...which is why we have this North South fight over who controls what. Meanwhile, neither North nor South is talking of ways we can encourage use of the resources to make industrial products.
