I think we misuse the term AVERAGE alot on this thread, most of our players are below average, very few are average why just one is presently above average
Our players are not below average... They are poorly coached..

Coaching is what's important.

Man for man only few team in the world has the calibre of out attacking strength. We need to get our midfield combination right to help our attack. Our major problem is CB and goalkeeping.
Had it been we had solid goalkeepers we would have won the AFCON and qualify for the world cup. The goalkeepers cost us.
attack that finds it difficult to score from open play shocked shocked shocked

S.E is not playing to their attacking strength... why play Moses Simon and Chukwueze when you have Moffi, Osihmen, Onuachu, Lookman, Victor Boniface, Yira sor e.t.c

I second your opinion, we don't deserve to be there. We ought to re-strategise on our technical team, our players, the hunger and eagerness of our players to winning, loads of work to be done but what I'm seeing on the table, the whole parties of the NFF, technical team, players and even the fans are not ready for any new challenge....winning is still very far from this SE team
Blueelf:
Some people will be unhappy with you because of this

i see ghana doing well in this tourney

We don't deserve to be at qatar and i am glad SE isnt
Damioduso1:
Senegal go beat both this Ecaudor and Qatar team . I trust in the Senegalese fighting spirit . I see Senegal and Ghana do something special in this year FIFA world Cup in Qatar. There players are ready to die on the pitch for there country unlike our super eagle's Players that don't have the fighting spirit every player is a big boy in super eagle's
S.E deserve to be at the World Cup...

the major problem with the S.E is the "I SCORED THE GOAL" mentality..

Another problem is Moses Simon's unwillingness to cross the ball into box, he is either passing back or trying to dribbling or losing possession.. the match against Portugal in the 2nd half when Simon started crossing/passing into box that's when the S.E was threatening...

Moses Simon should be instructed to cross/pass into the box or be completely benched or not called-up...

Remove Moses Simon from the team entirely and you'll see a different S.E..

1. "Being gay is a mental problem"

Please present your evidence for this. Over a thousand different animal species practice homosexuality (link to article below). Were all those animals abused when they were young, leading to them developing the "mental illness"?

2. Homophobia and racism are indeed in the same category. Why? They both involve hating on a community (defined as a group of people with a shared characteristic) because of natural features/ traits that they did not choose for themselves and cannot change even if they wanted to.

3. You say slavery, human sacrifice and killing of twins were not part of pre-colonial African culture? I don't mean to insult you, but did you do history/ civic education in secondary school? Political Science is my academic field and this is common knowledge. They were part of our culture. And you would know this if you went to a good secondary school.
been g:ay is a mental problem.... Don't compare Humans to animals.. Humans have better brains and should be more intelligent than animals.. you also have just shown you yourself suffer from a mental problem because the people who are using you to push this g:ay agenda see you as lesser than animals that's why you're confidently comparing humans and animals.

they are not in the same category... a g:ay person can be living in a place and no one will know that person is g:ay.... a black person can be noticed easier than a g:ay person..

slavery, human sacrifice and killing of twins were not part of African culture because if they were part of African culture there would have been a group of Africans who would have created Resistance to fight against such and if there was a Resistance then there would be wars between Africans which means due to wars Africans would have created deadlier weapons to fight themselves which means it would be impossible for colonial terrorists and thieves to invade Africa because all of Africa would war-ready...

you can only invade people that are peaceful and happy because they don't have the weapons to fight back and are not ready and prepared to fight back.... if you think I'm telling lies then carry gun and go and invade army barracks or navy barracks or Aso Rock...

"Enforce gay agenda"?

Let me ask you this. When the Premier League had its players wearing shirts saying "Black Lives Matter", did you accuse them of "enforcing racial equality agenda"?

Punishing people for being gay which they did not choose for themselves is just the same as discriminating against people for being black.

The "culture" argument holds no water. There are some cultures in which racism is the norm (e.g Nazi Germany). Can we then excuse Hitler and the Nazis for their racism because "it was their culture"?

Slavery and human sacrifice was part of African culture too before the colonial masters stamped them out.

Some cultural beliefs are evil and deserve to be protested and fought against by all means.

Homophobia is evil. Just as racism, human sacrifice and slavery are evil. No matter what any culture or religion says, these things are evil and must be stopped.
Curtisaxel10:
If the Western countries were "respecting local cultures" in the colonial era, we would still have legalized slavery, killing of twins and human sacrifice rituals in many parts of the world today.
been g:ay is a mental problem and most people that are gay were abused by someone when they were young and must never be compared to an entire race..

punishing someone for been g:ay is not the same as discriminating against black people because for someone to know a person is gay then the gay person has to make it public by telling another person or from how the gay person dresses and behaves which points to it been a mental problem...
while a black person does not have to make it public or tell another person that he has melanin or dress or behave in a certain way to show that he or she is black...

slavery was never part of African culture.
Human sacrifice was never part of African culture.
killing of twins was never part of African culture.

African culture already had names for twins and triplets long before the colonial thieves and terrorists invaded Africa...

stop saying rubbish.

Funny thing Chukwueze gave the same pass to Onuachu who ran out of ideas.
They took light after chuks missed one on one so I didn't see the full game.. let me add chuks to the list.

You see the through pass Iwobi gave Chukwueze that chuks didn't score.

I have only seen Peter olayinka, Nwakali, Ihenacho, Awoniyi give such passes..

People that have the skill to play such passes is what the midfield is lacking and that means too much reliance on Iwobi and overworking Iwobi..

3-5-2 would have been the best formation against a team like Portugal. Onyedika, onyeka, ndidi, iwobi aribo should have been the midfielders for this match. Start ndidi as CDM, Onyedika/Onyeka as CM and iwobi as AM.

This current NFF president is the worst compared to that delta state guy. The current NFF president last interview made me to remove mind from him. They should remove him from that post. Use EFFC/ICPC to get to picnick, then use it to get to this current president, they are all corrupt and if they dig just little, they will find stinking stuffs to use and nab him. Send him to jail and conduct a new election.
Remove Aribo and put Nwakali, Awoniyi or ihenacho.

Oga knowing JP and his formations, even if he called up any of these 3 players, he could still play with 2 midfielders and I believe we would still have had the same outcome, most likely, he could have just Onyedika and Iwobi, same thing he would do. Before we start talking personnel, it's important we address our shape too and formation.
We've been playing with 2 midfielders long before JP so it may not be his formation and same way I didn't expect Dennis to be called up due to his arrogant attitude...

We can't address our shape and formation due to corruption in how players are called up..

Oga! This is not set or monkey post. It's a game of tactics and the Portuguese played to it.

We just assembled players and instructed them go out on the field to play without a plan.

The coach doesn't have a game good plan and from what I noticed, he is soak the pressure and hit on counter attack kind of coach.
The good game plan is in having midfielders.. As long as S.E continues to not call up onyedika, Nwakali, alhassan-yusuf.

Then no matter who the coach is the S.E will always lose or draw.
