U talk like a fool. Davido’s mum is Benin. She is not igbo st all. And when did kids start claiming mother’s tribe? Omooo. U ppl suffer inferiority complex. Davido speaks Yoruba like mad. All his relatives are all Yoruba. His uncle is even a governor of a Yoruba state!!! His late uncle was an Honourable in Yoruba state. U Dey claim Davido to igbo? U well sohuh? Even their surname is pure Yoruba. U re sick in d head. Almost full blooded osun family, u say dem be almost full igbo. U Dey craze. Igbo kor, Indian hemp ni.
If you marry an Igbo woman and your son also marries an Igbo woman that means your grandson is 0.75 is Igbo even though he has your surname and can speak Yoruba..

TheChameleon whom I quoted spoke as if davido is 100% Yoruba which you yourself have also confirmed.

Davido grandma is Igbo then his mum is bini. That means davido is 0.25 Yoruba..

Your abuses can't make him 100% Yoruba.

I disagree.

First of all the national team is not where you learn anything the time is very limited and too short.

You are selected because of what you already have from your club and league where you play day in day out all season long. This is where you spend 99% of your footballing life .

So if you haven't learned in your club you will not learn it in the short time you have in the national team.

A good cosch will look at individual player attributes, experiences, capacity and ability then fuse turn into a team with a clear cut strategic vision and plan.
The national team formation is different from their club teams formation. Players have to get used to the positioning of their teammates in the national team...

The national team is where you learn a lot of things..

I understand its difficult for you to accept that the north you love to hate was a commercial centre and was engaging in diplomatic missions as far as Arab world before you knew to even go beyond your forests you think were the demarcation between the world and the afterlife. grin
North was not doing anything don't let fake stories fool you.

If north had the things you claim then they wouldn't have negative balance of trade every year.

Why is Cameroonian passing and ball handling so poor? Did they not learn from their 1st match?
Because they don't train on how to keep possession and players holding the ball for long and the players aren't good ball handlers..

Kano was commerce centre for like 300 years before ty British berthed on the shores of Nigeria. The trans sahara trade route made Kano and other northern towns commercial centres.
That's the story your people told you.. if there ever was any commerce center in the entire North then the b:ritish would have developed that section of the North.

There was never ever a "trans Sahara trade route".. any story that talks about such is a scam and fake.

Like really?

If the South have enough lands to farm, store and sell produce in large quantities, the North are doomed!
North has been doom that's why the Br:itish joined north and south Nigeria together in 1914 because the North always had deficit balance of trade.

now that the north has found oil? I'm not trying to be a pessimist but there would be increment of food price, why? lands in that region wouldn't be fertile anymore, with the new found wealth, most Northerners wouldn't even bother farming anymore....all regions always complemented each other and now APC has altered that balance
Food prices will never increase.. cows grazing also causes the land to not be fertile.

The food the north eats is different from what other regions eat..

Food prices will only increase in the north.

I am expecting a comment like ,deres nothing special in this Belgium team...our super eagles can also defeat this present Belgian team grin grin grin grin
All the Moroccan players dropped deep to help the defense and midfield and maintain their defensive formation..

The S.E does not have a defensive formation and if they do then the S.E players don't have the discipline to obey and maintain it.

The S.E lose matches because players don't press and drop deep to help the defense and midfield..

If you remove Aribo, Moses Simon and Chukwueze.. you'll see a different Super Eagles..

S.E will thrash this Belgian team if they play the way the Moroccans play.. SE has faster attackers that will reach the through passes Ziyech was giving..

Nope. VAR got it right. Saiss was clearly offside and obstructed Courtois (which is why Courtois went the other way)
it's pure robbery... its a stupid rule...

If you're driving a car and another car is in front you and there's a truck with equipment on it in front of the car that's in front you of you and then an equipment is about to fall off the truck the car is front of you will see the equipment falling off before you do and can avoid it while you that's behind didn't see it falling and it hits you...

will you blame the car in front you for obstructing your view huh

or if Person A is about to shoot Person B with a gun and Person B avoids the shot but the bullet hits another Person C.. you'll call it an accident or a stray bullet...

It should be called a stray goal...

because if the player was onside and still blocking the GK view the goal would have counted...

Nigeria
Ghana
Senegal
Ivory coast
Cameroon
Egypt
Tunisia
Morocco
Algeria
CAF will play some of these teams against each other especially the West African teams so that South Africa or a team from East Africa or Southern Africa will qualify.

I disagree with you.

A youth player in a good quality premier League academy or similar by the age of 11/12 will have been taught to be ambidextrous with both feet. At 14 the top players will have that skill set instinctively. I am talking from experience not just hearsay.

Have you noticed that Ademola and Aina have both feet proficiency although a stronger right foot.

Arnold Trent has that ability, it's now become an expectation for the players at the top of their game.
you're wrong..

I'm talking about the foot the player's brain will tell him to use the most...

I'm talking about players that were not trained to use both feet...

the same way when I was in Nursery school, Nursery schools don't teach you how to write with both hands... if you're right handed you learn how to write with your right hand they never teach people how to write with their less dominant hand..

I am talking about the foot the player's brain will tell him to use the most which is their dominant foot unless they have been trained not to rely
on their dominant root....

Why do African teams take the ball backwards when they are deep in their opponent's end? It makes no sense
Senegal was leading and its wiser to keep possession than lose possession and concede from a counter attack... its also called recycling.

it also has to do with the player, for example, if a player's dominant foot is his right foot and his playing on the left wing he can't cross the ball easily, he will have to spin the ball to cross it or turn backwards to move the ball to his right foot and cross with his right foot or completely stop ball then cross...

but I enjoy their organization unlike our overhyped players. Ghana is far more organized and deserve to be there. No hypes.
S.E is more organized...

It was the penalty that Portugal got that changed the match unfortunately for the S.E Dennis ruined the penalty S.E got and further changed the match...

If Ronaldo had scored his chances Ghana would have opened up more and probably conceded... Ghana just needs to avoid giving out a penalty and they will get something from this match.

no hypes.

Ejuke is not more direct he is is the quintessential African player, steeped in entertainment football lots of unnecessary dribbling and limited end product.

Nathan Tella and Ademola Lookman are way ahead of him. The same thing affects Chukwueze to some degree.

Ejuke I hope has learned in the Bundisliga that defence is as important as attack and puts in a good level of defensive contribution.
Ejuke is not steeped in entertainment football.. he creates chances and assists and that's what S.E needs on the wings especially the LW.. Tella and Lookman are not ahead of him.. Lookman turned to a ghost against Portugal... Tella hasn't played for the S.E yet so I can't judge him...

if Chukwueze was affected by such then he may have scored against Portugal because all he had to do when he was one on one apart from shoot was move the ball to his left or do a feint and dribble the keeper and score or lob the keeper...

The magic wand [and it is not magic] is having a sound coach with sound system of play

Then that system will select the boys to play

NT football doesn't afford some luxuries so I expect that the coach does his homework long before there is a camp
NFF will select players based on the leagues they play in..

How did you come to that conclusion.

Is the form of Ejuke better than that of Lookman and or Tella
Ejuke is more direct. I will prefer lookman or Awoniyi to play Aribo's position.

Tella can come on at halftime for Ejuke. But since his young NFF won't even invite him.. I see him as a succession plan so for me he has to be invited as soon as possible and given game time of at least 30 - 90 mins per match

The point I was driving at was that it doesn't take stars and top leagues to carry out a good plan.

Not just Saudi but Tunisia.

These matches is an indictment on our football because it is either our players are too blockheaded to interpret and play their coach's plan

Or the coach is pretty clueless and has no plans

Which do you think
the coach is there to collect his salary...

whether the S.E plays well or not they will continue to invite the same players maybe its true that they pay to play... Dennis after his arrogance and disrespect to the team will still be invited..

the players have become lackadaisical because they know they will always be invited and no one can bench them...

Can a player like Dennis play according to the coach's planhuh

its the same formation and players Eguavoen used that Poseiro is also using...

Another thing is relying too much on Moses Simon as if his the all time highest goalscorer... remove Moses Simon from starting 11 or the team entirely and let Ndidi play CB or bench him and you'll see a different S.E

Push Iwobi into the AM role. Play Onyeka and Ndidi pivot. Pair Bassey with Ekong. Sanusi on the left. Aina/Osayi on the right. Oshimen, Chukweze and Lookman in attack. We are good to go.
Remove Ndidi and put onyedika or yussuf.

Remove lookman and put Ejuke in the Moses Simon wing. Let lookman or Nathan tell come in for Ejuke.
