The gearing determines the engine speed. 3000 rpm at 80 kmh is pretty high for big displacement engines but about normal for smaller engines. I will assume it is a automatic transmission

Yes it is an automatic, 1.8ltr inline engine. Normally at around 80kmh is rev would be between 2000 to 3000 rev

When driving, no CEL, if not that I was curious due to a YouTube video I watched on how to tell when your automatic transmission changes gear by looking at the tachometer and listening to the engine sound, I wouldn't have even noticed.

Hello guru, I use a 2005 Pontiac vibe bought mid last year, I noticed the rpm never rises above 3000, my average speed is 80 to 100kmh. Please is this normal?

I have had similar problems and ended up changing 5 fuel pump,in desperation I have to change rewire and the new one just laughed and said oga all that fuel pump you changed are good including the failed one in the car,the cause,the filter had a small tear that allows small sand particles in to seize the pump, solution,wash fuel tank,change fuel filter and wash condemned fuel pump in diesel and it started working again.all 4 of them.

From user reviews.. I heard the civic is very durable... Legs does not pull... Cheap to maintain just like corrola.. Not a robbers magnets.. And low fuel consumption... Basically.. Civic is now gaining ground in Nigeria.

The fact that it is not a robber magnet is what I love, park and sleep with both eye. And it is not as expensive as corrola.

Some people think Civics loses their value more than corrola, Funny thing is someone that bought a 2007 toks corolla for 2.m he might sell for 1.2m after 3 years and write off like 800k, Where as someone that bought a civic for say 1.3m can also remove like 800k and sell for 500k or more after Same 3 years.

Omo na Uber open my eye to this things oh, imagine person put 2m corrola 07 for uber, after 1 year him just dey reach half of the cost price of the car. Whereas Civic guy don't dey almost cover cost of car and don dey save to buy another Civic to earn double income.

1. drain and refill transmision using ONLY Toyota WS ATF Fluid. Attached below Prepare to buy 5 cans of these
2. Your check engine light is on. You will need to scan your vehicle for trouble codes and post it here.
3. It seems your car is equipped with the DVD based navigation unit. Yes you will need the Navigation CD to get the unit working again.
4. Pls use only Toyota premixed coolant. it is the second picture attached.
5. Get a mechanic and check all the devices that is powered by the fan belt. It seems one is binding(and i strongly suspect your AC compressor)
