For many at their 40s to crave to have the knowledge of software development you at 20 you are already giving up.

Although, I should not ask this but let me ask you anyway. Have you seen what an average software developer (android) earn in Nigeria and outside?
That alone should motivate you to go ahead with it.

I can relate, I find call making really stressful. I have never told anyone that you didn't call me, why would I do that?

There is no expert that will teach you SE for 150k when he/she earns x5 of that amount.

The only way to get better at it is to, dedicate a year to learning, all by yourself. There are many resources that can make you a successful SE within two years.

Set aside up to $150 to purchase a course on udacity or pluralsight. Follow the course religiously. Do the exercises in those courses. After 6 months, start a small project to test your knowledge.

If you are like me who like to read books, then go get tons of ebooks on your field. Books are great cos it touches topics in depth and broaden your knowledge and you tend to study at your pace. The disadvantage is that you might get wind up if you are not patient and consistent.

Your first paragraph looks subjective and controversial to me. Many people will disagree.

As for the second part. I'll agree with you to a large extent. And that's for the following reasons.

1- Python's popularity is mainly among researchers and data/GIS analysts not among 'mainstream' developers.

2- The ranking is only on popularity not on the importance and scale down f the projects done with these languages.

Prof isn't a great politician, he's more of religion than politics that is why he can't say he will be running for the seat come 2023. With him, there will be peace and progress in the land but he won't want to give it a try to run for the post.

I visited Osogbo in 1979 when it was under Oyo State. I must say my stay in the city was memorable for one thing. During this period, Oyo State had three remarkable cities which were Ibadan, Ogbomosho and Osogbo. Ibadan was only place with image of a city. The other two were glorified villages.

You are correct, Osun and Ekiti states are economically viable than those states you mentioned. If you doubt me, ask the indigene of those states that reside in Osun and Ekiti states. You can see I did not mention oyo state and ondo state because Oyo state alone is economically viable than the entire states in South East.
