Politics › Re: Tinubu Moves To Clear $10bn Forex Backlog by CodeTemplar: 3:56pm On Oct 23, 2023
The consequences of the CBN’s failure to meet its commitments are not limited to domestic businesses alone. Foreign investors also have a substantial backlog of approximately $10 billion owed to them by the CBN. This impacts the confidence and trust of foreign investors in the Nigerian economy, potentially deterring future investments and harming economic growth.
Essentially, local businesses were forced to borrow from outside to avoid govt doing the borrowing themselves and thus postponing the date govt is due to fulfil forex reserve obligations.

Multifaceted borrowing with many technical names. Buhari did his best and left us reeling.

Uncle Bola is carefully buying time until Dangote refinery fires and the Naira strengthen as a result so he can claim it as result of his efforts even though we all know it isn't the case.
It is 5 months since we removed it and four months since N1tr was saved after the first month.

It's easy to run your mouth on people when neither you nor any of your family members run a top company that employs and pays salaries of employees at the end of the month.
he did not abuse Adenuga but spoke the obvious truth I have always known as far back as 2013.
Glo can do with some upgrades instead of just signing brand ambassadors and giving marketers largely unrealistic targets. This has nothing to do with whether he is paying salaries in a top company or not.
Business › Re: Mike Adenuga Loses $300 Million by CodeTemplar: 2:31pm On Oct 23, 2023
Such a news applies to every one of us. As long as the naira loses value, our dollar networth goes down.

N1m when dollar was N500 is half the dollar value when dollar becomes N1000, so everyone is feeling it one way or another.

Billionairly:
I know the reason why the state was mentioned in the headed was to stoke tribal bashing. But it seems the girls mother wanted to have her abort the illegal baby and couldnt so once baby was born she disposed of it...doesnt meet your intended narrative of selling the child to feed.

But since the state of the woman is in the article, let me help the mods elaborate what they are trying to say.

There are two groups of people, one of the groups when faced with hardship, some of the people are likely to travel abroad and participate in drug trafficking, those who remain might engage in extreme form of surrogacy by selling their own baby to survive. On the other end the other group of people who when faced with hardship also engage in drug trafficking abroad, their young men engage in toutism within the very streets they were born, they are also massively engaged in beheading of humans for fetish sacrifices , the same people are also likely to blindly support highly incompetent individuals for highly sensitive political positions for tribal or religious purposes to their own detriment. Obviously i dont need to ask a bypasser which of these two groups he would chose to be associated with when given no other choice. The choice is clear.

Anyways this site has completely hurt this country and Provided a breeding ground for a extremist tribalistic sentiments to breed. What a shame on Seuns legacy, when this young man started this place a decade ago, one would have never thought this was were it was all going to end.
Keep speculating just to deflect the embarrassment it brings the location of the crime. Poverty knows ko tribe.

Subsidy hasn't gone.

Otherwise fuel would have been over the 800 naira mark.

Tinubu just did the same old partial removal trick that has been done since before I was born.

Total removal of subsidy is a mirage.

APC takes decisions that would get them elected, not benefit Nigeria in the long run
😕
