The reason most people dabble into politics in the first place is because "there is money in politics".
Politics is suppose to be about rising to top position at which one serves selflessly but it has morphed into the mudslinging and treachery that people use to outsmart one another at personal level. There was one NL guy that built a rocket engine. I contacted him and one of the things he told me was that he did it for a government institution and the government gave them lots of money to continue the research. But guess what happened.
