Politics › Re: PPMC May Crash Petrol Price As Crude Oil Prices Dip by CodeTemplar: 12:25pm On Oct 03, 2020
A decrease in petrol price means less earning for govt and very likely more pressure to borrow and cut running cost. If we are not producing with the cheaper petrol, it means little to us because we are just consuming it for less important things and domestic use.

Because those are the things that will most likely lead to the use of nuclear weapon and he knows a thing or two about those.

President Trump's have decided to use the drug Remdesivir to treat him. Does this end the Chloroquine debate?

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-10-03/physicians-decided-to-start-remdesivir-therapy-for-trump?utm_source=url_link
Chloroquine works but remdesivir works better. The superior effectiveness of one doesn't nullify the effectiveness of the other.

The Shekel, the currency which God instructed in the Old Covenant for the running of His Temple, was the only acceptable currency in the Temple. Money from the payment of vows, offerings etc.(note NOT TITHES) were eventually used for the upkeep of the temple as prescribed by God in the Old Covenant.
Tithes were prescribed in the form of food item and again, in the book of Numbers, God describes who gets what and how much of it ended up in the store room which eventually ended up going to those who had none.
What was the name of the currency carrying Caesar's image then? You are irredeemably dumb. So they used two different currency system in one jurisdiction? You are irredeemably stupïd

Why do you have a "devourer"? That ought to be a better question for you to ask. If you are living in obedience of the commandments of Jesus Christ (not your so-called pastors), why do you have a devourer in your life? undecided
Ask God, since you claim you know Him and He was the one who mentioned it in His Word. Yeye...

jesusjnr2020:
It's really ironic you're talking about baseless accusations when your blind leader is the one who falsely accused Job here.

No wonder Jesus called them blind leaders of the blind who would both fall into the ditch.

Why not prove Oyedepo right with where it was stated in the scriptures that Job suffered losses because he didn't tithe, Instead of blindly defending him?

Why not go and read the book of Job and stop shamelessly exhibiting your lack of true knowledge as your blind leader.
I don't have to prove where it was said that job didn't tithe. Things can be said implicitly or explicitly. In this case it was said implicitly. Malachi 3:11 is all you need to know this simple fact. The devourer can't come near if tithe is in place. The devourer was permitted for a reason I quess. God changeth not and I don't expect God to go against Malachi 3:11 his own words.

It's only foolishness that would make someone want to drag Jesus' name into the pit the modern day Pharisee had dug for himself.

If not that you're spiritually daft, you should have seen the premise used was the mammon preacher's heresy that Job suffered losses because he didn't tithe.

So you should also show me where Jesus had imagined such an foolish thing about Job not to talk of saying it out.

Only blind fools as yourself would not have seen the error and falsehood in that saying about Job that has been completely exposed by the losses suffered by tithers because of Covid-19.
One baseless accusation after the other is all you have and you are fond of building upon these allegations. Can you prove Oyedepo wrong on Job? He made a valid deduction that's scripture based whether you like it or not. The devourer will always stay off when you tithe properly.

Give electricity to private sector to generate at controlled pricing. How hard can this be.

Brazil today, with about the same population as Nigeria and classified as a developing country produces over 100, 000 megawatts of electricity. Allow private sector with competition and pragmatic price control (no subsidy), with fair margin for profitability and decades of tax breaks to reduce the overall cost burden.

We all know this sector would likely never improve until it is properly privatized.
The people in govt then privatized it to themselves and retained the monopoly structure of old NEPA with a view towards maximizing their profit.

A proper privatization and removal of any law forcing gencos to sell to TUC handlers is the only way out.

That you are a going to church or build the largest church in Nigeria or Africa does not make you a Christian or a child of God.......

By their fruits you shall know them.....with the number of people that claiming to be children of God today and the rising cases of curruption and criminality in our society shows you are just deceiving yourselves......

Saying the church also build schools etc....if those facilities cannot be accessable by the common man how is that impacting the society?

Why using the church facilities for profit making when the funds used for them were free will donations?.....this is the reason your church is a scam and God/Jesus Christ is not a scammer....
Stop making it look like God/Jesus Christ is a lier or scammer
I knew you are irredeemable before replying but did so for the sake of others. Now go and concoct another anti-church and post.

The question is what is the responsibility/impact of the church to the society?
I can see you have shifted goal post. That's a good sign for our previous exchange.

As for the responsibility of the church. The church is a place for God's own people who have accepted Him. The church is primarily a place for God's people to be nourished spiritually.
Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from God. Part of this feeding(spiritual) takes place in the church.
They bring morals and value into the society. They have also extended themselves by building schools, hospitals, and many other public projects that serve the needs of the society at large - a plus. Also they carry out charity as they are led.

Government takes less than 10% from workers salary/income and they are saddle with the responsibility of good road, schools and other basic amenities...... These Penticostal collects 10% of your salaries, different seeds offerings, daily offerings etc ...... And they can't give back to the society, not even to the members that contributed...,...
It's out of ignorant for someone to compare the evil we see today with Jesus time.....
You missed it. Govt takes all the oil resources income then pay part of it as salary and project cost into the economy, part of the partial money goes to Christians who then pay part of it back to the church(as seed) and govt(as tax). That leaves the govt with over 95% of the wealth. Olodo...
