okpalaAnambra: If you don't understand it very well just know it that world bank doesn't care about what happens to Nigerians.. They're more concerned about the correctness of their economic theories which never manifests anything good in life.. These are all parts of neocolonialism, wake up people! Stop talking conspiracy theories... subsidy removal is good but corruption in the system means wherever the wealth goes, corruption is there to eat it up. |

Brandstudio01: Again the issue is not traceable to subsidy removal, but the measures put in place to reduce the stress on the taxpayers. Governance is about the people Governance is about supporting the society and not about adopting people as governments responsibility. |

Awol1: Backs?
As if it's not World Bank and IMF that set removal of fuel subsidy and increase in electricity tariff as prerequisite for loans.
Our independence, and the independence of most African and Third World countries, is a scam.
Loan is the new colonial tool. No, you are wrong. They didn't force loans on us, we did by mismanaging natural resources. As things are, we will still ask for more loans if we don't restructure. |

Ehiscotch: It was expected, sir. With the impact of the Covid-19 worldwide, it would easier for a camel to pass the eye of a needle than for us not to record quarterly decline in our GDP.
If only your vision for self-sufficiency has come into play, Nigerians would barely feel any impact of global oil prices or foreign exchange, especially in agriculture.
I just hope and pray that your policies bear fruits early: the rails, roads, Siemens deal and Mambilla power project, and ports.
Thank God, our populace has been reawakened on the need to vote. Look how all states are being keenly contested and the relatively level playing ground afforded all parties.
We will get there. He was chasing oil when he should have been on agriculture. |

Kobojunkie: Here is a simple question for you. are you a jew, a descendant of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, that you should believe the Old covenant was created for and is binding as far as you are concerned?
God was clear who the promise He made in the Old Covenant belonged to and it is certainly not for those who are not of Jewish descent. This information is not hidden as it has been in that bible and remains written in that book for all who will read to glean. I am a Jew. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Salvation Ministries’ World’s Largest Church Auditorium Reaches Roofing Stage by CodeTemplar: 7:50pm On Oct 07, 2020 |
Kobojunkie: Where did the twisting occur? Um... Jesus Christ is recorded to have preached for over a day to about 5 thousand people. He preached to people out in the open for over a period of 3 years while He ministered on earth, yet not once did He stop to command that His disciples build tents or buildings because of "harsh conditions." "harsh conditions" did not stop or hinder Jesus Christ in the feeding, caring for of those who God had set Him to care for. None of that got in the way of Jesus Christ requiring His disciples obey the commandments that He Himself obeyed according to the Will of God. During much of that time, He and His disciples did not have a place to lay their heads at night but not once did Jesus Christ say,"Build me a house because of harsh conditions". So? What were you saying again about "harsh conditions"? May be I should help amplify your stupidity in a sarcastic way by asking for where Jesus asked us to use internet or water or drive cars? Nonsense! |
Christianity Etc › Re: Salvation Ministries’ World’s Largest Church Auditorium Reaches Roofing Stage by CodeTemplar: 7:37pm On Oct 07, 2020 |
Kobojunkie: Really? Obedience of Jesus Christ's commandments are dependent on the conditions in which one finds oneself or chooses to believe of one's situation? You people never stop, do you! You twisted Jesus' word so no qualms if you do for mine. By "harsh conditions" I mean exposing people to harsh physical conditions while the word is being preached. like rain and sunshine or even cold. So, where did Jesus Christ command any of His followers to "Hold services" of any kind or even build monuments to their glory in His name? Nowhere! This is not part of any commandment or instruction He gave all of His followers. Yet, you would condition the obeying of Jesus Christ's very commandment upon this claimed need your pastors have, a need that has nothing to do with God to begin with? WOW! So where did he command them not to follow the OT tradition of teaching the word in sanctuaries? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Salvation Ministries’ World’s Largest Church Auditorium Reaches Roofing Stage by CodeTemplar: 7:26pm On Oct 07, 2020 |
Kobojunkie: Again, because Paul's letter trumps the words and commandments of Jesus Christ, the very word out of God's own mouth, right? You clearly twisted Jesus' text out of context and both Paul's and Jesus' were inspired by the Holy Ghost and cannot supersede or contradict one another |
Christianity Etc › Re: Salvation Ministries’ World’s Largest Church Auditorium Reaches Roofing Stage by CodeTemplar: 7:19pm On Oct 07, 2020 |
Kobojunkiee: According to Jesus Christ, only those who do the following will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
1. Feed His sheep(the least of these/those who do not have): a. Give food to those who are hungry b. Give drinks to those who are thirsty 2. Take care of His sheep(the least of these/those who do not have): c. Cloth the naked d. Shelter those who are homeless e. Take care of the sick f. Visit those who are in prison
The question I have for those who support and claim this is to the glory of God is this, where do projects such as these (the building of schools, churches and the lot) fall under the works of righteousness that Jesus Christ in fact commanded of His followers? Did Jesus feed his followers under harsh condition? Commonsense dictates when a pastor starts holding 6 services on Sundays, he needs a bigger hall to reduce the number of services held. Feeding the sheep's is figurative and means being feed in the spirit by the word of God which man shall live by along with bread. |

Kobojunkie: ROFLMAO!! One who supposedly has the very spirit of God himself living inside of Him needs a mere mortal man as a "spiritual therapist" over him? Stop letting the lies of men continue to mess with your mind and the soul... let go of them and the hold they have on you will die with them. Open your eyes to the truth that is Jesus Christ, and let Him teach you anew.
Become like a child so your soul may be saved by the one who you claim to believe. There is still time right now for you to rend your soul away from the enemies of God who have clouded your judgement and blinded you with their lying tongues and deceit-filled mannerisms. Go and read Paul's letters to Timothy and cure your ignorance dude. Timothy too was spirit filled. |

SmartProf: Just like a typical Nigerian politician, he decided to take advantage of what he perceives as the priority of majority of Nigerians and a popular movement so he can earn much praise for celebrating their new found idol laycon. It's the values of society our politicians trend with, and since today most Nigerians values BBnaija madly with so much goodwill showered on participants, the governor had to key into what satisfies his citizens. Afterall if laycon leads a campaign for him, he is likely to be voted massively. So the man is not funny, he has done his calculations. He should know the difference between governance and showbiz. |
