Politics › Re: More People Will Bypass Electricity Nowadays by CodeTemplar: 8:20pm On Sep 29, 2020
Herdamorlar:
I don't know the increment in electricity is so much that the the unit I use to buy at #5000 at the rate of 190 units now is just 79 units. After I bought the unit I felt like I should be crying that why did I vote for Buhari. if this hike in electricity stay I know many people will have to bypass their electricity because I don't think. many people will be able to sustain with this increase including me.
I suspect you live in one of those nice area that has been categorized for higher billing rate. Take heart ehn.

Very soon folks will. be charging huge power banks on transformers and be selling them in black market.

Christianity Etc › Re: Bishop David Oyedepo Celebrates His 66th Birthday Today (Photos) by CodeTemplar: 7:24pm On Sep 29, 2020
Investnow2017:
You asked a question, and you are commenting when you have not gotten your answer. The clear answer to your question as to whether or not Adegboye, Kumuyi, etc are Christians is a capital NO. Who are Christians? Christians are followers of and believers in Jesus and his God directed teachings. That those men you cited do not practice the teachings of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, they are no Christians. Have you been deceived by them? Better free yourself by heeding the clear warning of God's angel as contained in Revelation chapter 18:4, lest you reap the dire consequences of their misleading teachings and unscriptural practices.
Have you asked yourself why God caused the dismal examples of Pharoah and Herod birthday celebrations to be recorded one in the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament) and another in the Greek Scriptures (New Testament). Was it to entertain readers with those gory incidents or to teach a vital lesson. Have you asked why it is that not even one God's servant of old or under the Christian era was ever reported celebrating their birthday? It is because they knew that birthday celebration is a pagan practice.
In order not to remain ignorant of scriptural teachings you have to learn to read the Bible between the lines. There are clear reasons for such accounts to be recorded for the benefit of true worshippers in this age. Jesus said that at this time, God is seeking for, not just worshippers, but TRUE worshippers to worship Him in spirit and truth, John 4:23,24.
That some proclaimed prophets or whatever they call themselves,do certain things does not make them acceptable to God, Romans 10:1-3. They may have a zeal for God, but certainly not according to accurate knowledge, that is why it is not strange to true worshippers of God to see those men placing their own righteousness over and above the righteousness of God. And such acts are condemnable.

robinso01:
This is very common in most tertiary institutions, if not all. This happens in my school also. When a student reports this, there's no action taken against the lecturer at all, but the student will even regret doing so. Nigeria education system is whack. What pains me most is that, you will see the set of lecturers that does the money for marks to be abusing our corrupt leaders and politicians of corruption, even when they are worse than them.
The bold is the fire behind the smoke. Greed is an untameable force but what happens when it manifests? The Justice system in this country and part of the world is a huge joke. The one reporting the real offender gets victimized the more and it becomes impossible to stop this practice. The is one huge advantage genuine visionary schools (mostly private ones) have over the public ones. All men's property is technically no man's property and that explains why those in charge of the public schools don't care about justice.

All federal and state Unis
....and a substantial number of private uni.

If you ask me, I say all the unis, what differentiates some private uni is the will to fight this practice and that translates to justices if a student tenders good evidence to support claims of mark for money/favour.

Sad but true tales.

This is why Oyedepo and the likes will continue to be relevant in the education sector. They simply fill a void no one is denying its existence. This thing has to be stopped or it will continue to impede our progress as a society. You cannot feign the acquisition of knowledge and expect what you don't have to profit you.

No matter who the president is, corruption will continue to thrive in Nigeria because we are all thieves and until Nigerians decide to stop stealing nothing any president will do. Is president a computer program that will monitor every adult in Nigeria in position of trust.
There is nothing worthy of privacy in spending of public funds and to this end I propose all accounts in MDAs be made public. Every expense(pen, fuel, paper, computer, internet subscription, transportation cost, contracts and breakdown of its phases) be made absolute public. We cannot be hiding details of expenses and expect transparency.

Hello guys, how are you doing? Well I will not bore you guys with the full gist... I remember back in 2018 laycon dm me on IG but I snub the chat not because of his little body structure, but I did not vibe well with him and there was something that didn’t seat well with me at that time. I don’t regret anything or not replying him 2years back. I’m still not attracted to him but I’m happy for him. Wished him nothing but light and good health congrats to my Mr simp on IG
The new pattern Nairalanders scammers use. Create a female user account with a catchy and urban sounding moniker. Upload a pix to match the purpose of the account. Finally start bombing the forum with threads that will subtly entice victims to open your scam profile.
