Islam for Muslims / Re: Nathan Ellington: People In Football Are Unaware Of What Muslims Need To Do... by CohenJane: 11:41pm On Oct 18, 2013
Nuvally:

Keep quiet my friend!

I hate religious fanatics.

Whether u're a Christain, Muslim or P, you must adhere to every rule/regulation guiding ur place of work.

I vividly can't employ a person who goes out to pray 5 times a day as a Receptionist in my Hotel.

If the rules don't favour u, go somewhere else. You can't bend the rules.
You can't play football with an Empty stomach.

This is what I call self-pity. Does Islam teach that Too?

The bolded is not true, and you know it. You just want to sha say something to vent your frustration.
I play my football well when I'm fasting.

Sure, they wewren't. That was why I tot we were going to scale through but it happened the way it did.

My Dad is late; I buried him by my own hand, put him the grave myself, I never cried because I needed to be strong for my siblings.

I'm missing my dad every second of my life, I miss him the more when I was returning from camp with my NYSC Kaki. How glad would he have been? In his voice, he would have exclaimed: "Ha! Adewale, I'm so proud of you, I'm so happy!

Happy Fathers Day to all whose father is still around; please share some joyful moment with him.

We are at war already. So check the meaning of civil war please.

Politics / Re: ACN Condemns Declaration Of State of Emergency! by CohenJane: 5:41pm On May 15, 2013
AnanseK: ACN has explained how non functional and futile the Presidents prescription is and I agree with them fully.Instead of insulting Lai Mohammed, you intelligent Nigerians should tell us how more force and more violence by the state can bring peace to the country.

That's it. They are just running their mouth without giving any contrary solution to what should have been done either nor did they analyse the statement:

It said while the President was right in expressing outrage over the mindless killings and wanton destruction by the insurgents, he was wrong in proposing more of the same measures that have failed to yield results
.

"There is nothing new in the President’s action. It is more of the same: deployment of more troops to the affected states and the use of tougher, scorched-earth tactics against the insurgents

The Government should have just decleare curfew in the said states and deploy more troop

”Secondly, the President should go ahead and disband the committee he recently inaugurated and saddled with reaching out to the insurgents, because by opting to flood the states with more troops under an ill-advised emergency rule, he has succeeded in pulling the carpet from under the Committee’s feet. Who negotiates genuinely with a gun
to his head? The committee’s job is over, the members can as well pack up and go home
.

”Thirdly, one hopes the President’s action is not linked to the politics of 2015. With the three states militarized, there can neither be electioneering campaign nor voting there. We had warned earlier that as 2015 approaches, the Jonathan Administration will increasingly take measures that will make it impossible to hold election in many states The over militarization of some states in the north, the plan to destabilise the South-west using slush funds from the so-called oil pipeline protection contract and the infantile threats from some Niger Delta militants seem to be part of this plan

^^^^ this ia the nonsense! Total rubbish

”Fourthly, what happens if and when the declaration of emergency rule fails to stem the violence, now that the President has gone for broke and played his last card
?

^^^^ Juat bomb the whole place thereafter, shikaynah!

Ilaje Omuro: There are still many plagiarists in that University. I have evidence of self plagiarism for two other Lecturers, Professor Celestine Bassey and Dr. Felix Akpan. The two are of Political Science Department. They reproduce the same material word for word in two different journals under different titles. This is a crime in the academic system. You can search for and read these two articles online: "Mainstreaming Peace and Security in the Niger Delta: Resource Control, Ethnic nationalism and Conflict Cessation in a Turbulent System", and "The politics of Resource Control in Nigeria". The first paper was published by Global Journal of Human Social Science in it Volume 12 Issue 6, while the second appeared in European Journal of Social Sciences, Vol. 27, No. 2. The two lecturers may even be on the panel that ttried the case of the dismissed lecturers. We must sanitise this system.

Now, there are some assignments you are given that your lecture would not want to hear your voice at all, your opinion does not count, and sometiimes they range between 3000 to 3500 words, so what would you do? The lecturer expects you to contact Journals and other publish works on the subject or topic (some will even tell you the number of Journals or published works they want, could be up to 10).

So, this is how you go about it: according to Okupe (2013) granting amnesty or pardon to a convicted thief is not be wrong...
or like this; granting amnesty or pardon to a convicted thief is not be wrong...(Okupe, 2013)
It could also be like this; Okupe (2013 cited in eagle-eye, 2010) was of the opinion that granting amnesty or pardon to a convicted thief is not be wrong...

By so doing, you can never be charged for plagiarism. But for a PhD to have been accused to have plagiarised call to question his/her certificate.

But do you know that people contract PhD thesis out in this country? I have handled one before (confession)

Please what about grassroot mobilzation, what about townhall meetings, what about going to universities and higher nstitutions to recruit the youths, what about organizing volunteers, what about selling your agenda to the masses, what about making sure u have adequate representation in every ward, what about raising capital for election? May his soul rest in peace.

do you know how many teachers, drivers, mechanics, kole-kole, beggers, street sweepers cleaners etc die daily?

every one needs prayer. but do you actually think prayer can avert death? i thought it, otherwise, Jesus would not have been cruficied on the cross to be raised the third for your salvation. if actually God is in control of everythin, then everything has a purpose for happening, and He may not have been unaware.

Everybody will go at their appointed time ... thought if there is anything like untimely death. If only the hired assasin could exrcise some restraint, that person he was paid to kill, if it has been destined to die that day, would surely die in one way or the other, without him being shot.

It is unfortunate to see people criticize this type of initiative. It's understandable if you point out your concerns about the sustainability of the project. At least, if such concerns gets the to the hears of the project owners, may be they will see to it. Like the person who talked about electricity to power the lift.
