Politics / Re: Is Sanusi Still Better Than Soludo? by CohenJane: 9:57pm On Dec 13, 2012 |
olas2u: Yes, I am aware that it was returned to them. The point is, was it SLS or his policy that put them in this position? Savannah Bank shouldn't have come up in his arguiment ... it's a world apart. By the way, I hope you are not reffering to me as a fool? I didn't bring up any issue to warrant that you know, and I will take offence at it. |
Politics / Re: Is Sanusi Still Better Than Soludo? by CohenJane: 9:54pm On Dec 13, 2012 |
kITA TITA: Professor Soludo has a rich résumé. He has also consulted for leading organizations in the world. Unfortunately he allowed overt ambition fueled by selfish political pursuits to destroy all that. I agree with you at the boldened |
Politics / Re: Is Sanusi Still Better Than Soludo? by CohenJane: 9:45pm On Dec 13, 2012 |
manny4life: Your argument are not coherent. It smells of tribalism. I took interest in it initially not untill you came up with the Savannah bank thing. You mean, SLS should be blamed for Savannah going backrupt? By that statement, I guess you should be under 21 years old. So, you don't know the history of Savvanah bank 1 Like |

Pk001: This burtress what l said that studying Engineering does not mean the person should be able to teach further maths. Not even those that studied mathematics can teach it effectively ... it takes those that studied maths education to be able to teach it effectively. it includes class room management and all that. |
NYSC / Re: Corpers Cause Mass Failure In Schools - Teachers Council by CohenJane: 10:16pm On Dec 11, 2012 |
solomon111: Any graduate Engineer that can't teach further-mathematics is a fraud. This is not true. In maths, we call this type of argument necessary but not sufficient. It may be necessary for an Engineer to know Further Maths, but not sufficient to teach it, they are two different things entirely. The fact that you know something may not be a sufficient and neccessary ground for you to be able to teach it. People that teaches further maths are those that studied Maths Education 2 Likes |

Politics / Re: Federal Character Breeds Mediocrity - Sanusi by CohenJane: 3:07am On Dec 07, 2012 |
Yujin: While I'm in agreement with SLS on the retrogressive impact of Federal Character on the development of this empire, I clearly see the hidden message. Why cite the additional state request of the South East in your analysis when you know that Federal Character WILL NEVER be stopped in this Nigeria with the present political set up? He's subtly saying it shouldn't be created because an additional ministry would have to be created for the new state. In his quest to manage the expenses of the FG, I think the excess LGA's in the north should be collapsed and the money channeled into better use than increasing the unemployment rate by retrenching 50% of civil servants. But he also cited his state as an example, didn't he? |
Politics / Re: Federal Character Breeds Mediocrity - Sanusi by CohenJane: 3:04am On Dec 07, 2012 |
Tony Spike: Was this same Sanusi Lamido not appointed CBN governor based on federal character or am I missing something here? CBN Governors are not appointed based on federal character. I don't think so. But wait, is he not making sense? |

1025: if u ask me, i will suggest that jonathan should stop talking as many nigerians are not interested in his flexible words. he changes like the wind. he says what he doesn't do. why did he sack two igbo pdp chairmen in succession without any valuable reasons? why is his vice from the north?why is his state getting more money from the oil revenue than others? why are the militants getting armnesty and the kidnappers and boko haram are not getting? why did his wife left aso rock to germany to get treatment while his brother left bayelsa to die in aso rock? nigeria was not one, is not one and will never be one. Are you saying even in his family, they are not one ... different and prefential treatment? Gosh. Caught in the act! 1 Like |

meksroland: you're just crazy and ivalid. Naija money doesn't belong to those group of criminals in the house. Due process must be followed before any damn money will be released. They're only angry when money is involved, but won't be angry when lives and properties are destroyed. Boko boys don't know what to do sha Prof Corruption: We have been inviting the Minister of Finance over the problems of police pension. She has been holding the police pension and several police pensioners have died due to non-payment despite the fact that the National Assembly appropriated money in the 2012 fiscal year. is due process not part of going to NASS and explain why this money has not been released despite appropriation? You see, some people just make comments be blinded by ethnic or religious affiliation. Thank you for your response to the second idiotic post above. |

jt2010: What make you think Fashola has the pass rate for private schools in Lagos.. Lagos statement government is not WAEC or NECO!!! So as a public officer, i strongly believe the pass rate Fashola quote is for public school... Which one do you want him to quote before? or what's his business with private school? Is it government that should be funding private school again? |

ebamma 3: Im against topics concerning religions(either christianity or islam) making frontpage, nairaland no be church website or mosque website, anybody who wishes to discuss religion should go to the religion section or visit islam or christianity websites I support this suggestion. Can you see some other person's comment? They are not to be blamed in part. Honestly, if it had been in the religion section, it wouldn't have been this so degenerated |
