@Uglybetty,you need not take these criticsms from these 'hypnotised' folks seriously. To so many gullible folks, there's nothin you'd say or do about pastor Chris that would change their minds. They'd rather die than leave that glorified shrine. To them pastor Chris is a god,in fact he is the God & they'd listen to no other. You'd only be dissipating your energy trying to convince them to retrace thier steps. The truth is Pastor Chris is an Agent of Darkness. My people,be warned, the signs are all there, open your eyes and see them rather than shouting people down.Be warned,be warned,be warned!He/she who have ears let him hear.

It is unlikely that a false prophet will openly admit to being false. Instead he will pose as a true minister of the Almighty. He will come as a 'wolf in sheep's clothing:' and will do many miracles in order to deceive the human race - even 'the very elect - if possible'
Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Another Abuja Bomb Blast- Jonathan Reacts.,
Posted: December 31, 2010 - 22:46

By Mitaire Ikpen

Tonight, evil people determined to turn the joys of fellow Nigerians to ashes detonated a bomb at a barracks market in the Federal Capital City.

Basking in their nefarious success in Jos on Christmas eve, they have once again knifed at the heartstrings of a nation decked out in gaiety, celebrating new year's eve. This is extreme evil. It is wicked. It defies all that we believe in, and stand for as a nation.

The president, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, condemns this attack, and commands the nation's security services to rise to the occasion and  arrest this new and dangerous challenge to our peace and stability.

There shall be no sacred cows. All, no matter how remotely connected to these incidents, must be brought to justice.

They must be made to pay.   No one, and we repeat, no one, can make this nation ungovernable.

Calaway, since the recent blasts and violence events that have occurred in Jos, Yenagoa, Maiduguri and now Abuja what have you seen any public official say or do that amounts to  a serious will to tackle our these? Is it not time enough to declare a state of emergency in a state like Plateau? Have you heard anything from GEJ regarding this?

R we suppose to teach GEJ how to keep his political adversaries on their toes? IBB, Atiku and a host of other politicians are corrupt and there is evidence for this but nothing!
GEJ seems to have turned a blind eye.

My brother, OBJ legacies (incl. GEJ) and PDP are not going to take us anywhere if we actually reason this out.
A state of emergency should not & cannot be declared in Plateau state. That is giving in to to the perpetrators. What is required is for those responsible to be punished according to the law. That will serve as a deterrent to others, but will that ever happen?

While Homosexuality is a perverse life style no doubt,  answer these two questions please :

1. In God's eyes do you think that sin is categorised ?

2. You who commit adultery and lust with your eyes or in actual practise, do you suppose that you on a higher moral ground than a Homosexual ?

If your answer is yes to the above questions , you are more than deluded.

Remove the LOG from your eye so that you can see clearly and remove the SPECK from your neigbors eye.

Rousseau:
I have to disagree with you on that point. Many African cultures have practiced some sort of homosexuality on the continent of Africa. It just wasn't viewed in a way that we are viewing it now. In the central African Zande culture, before European conquest, it was regarded "as very sensible for a man to sleep with boys when women are not available or are taboo." An English anthropologist at the time Evans-Pritchard was told that in addition to times when women were not available for sex, some Azande men had sex with boys "just because they like them." Gender-crossing homosexuality was also common in the Hausa bori cult. Among the Maale of southern Ethiopia, some males crossed over to feminine roles. Called ashtime, these males dressed as women, performed female tasks, cared for their own houses, and apparently had sexual relations with men. As you can see, homosexuality has been present in many African cultures.

Anti-terror squad arrest 12 men 'plotting to cause Christmas shopping carnage'

By Stephen Wright

Christmas shoppers and partygoers are feared to have been the target of 12 men who were arrested by anti-terror police early yesterday.

The suspects, aged between 17 and 28, are accused of preparing Al Qaeda-inspired attacks on ‘mass casualty’ targets such as shopping malls and nightclubs.

They were taken into custody after more than 150 officers from four forces swooped on homes in London, Stoke-on-Trent, Birmingham and Cardiff at 5am.

Senior security sources described the arrests as ‘hugely significant’.

The men – some of Bangladeshi origin – had been the subject of a multi-million pound surveillance operation for several months.

They were arrested days after anti-terror chiefs consulted Home Secretary Theresa May about the threat they allegedly posed to national security.

It is understood there was evidence the suspected plot was moving into ‘a more advanced stage of planning’.

Police, who for weeks have been on a heightened state of alert about a possible terrorist atrocity in the UK, decided it was necessary to take decisive action.

Sources said the operation was not linked to the recent failed Stockholm suicide bombing or the Al Qaeda printer bomb plot, which originated in Yemen.

Nor is the alleged plot thought to have been modelled on the Mumbai commando-style atrocity, which anti-terror chiefs have had particular concerns about in recent months.

Instead senior officers believe the terror cell was planning to use conventional bombs or explosives in attacks on crowded places.

In recent weeks, security has been stepped up at shopping centres such as Westfield in West London, Bluewater in Kent and Trafford in Greater Manchester.

Al Qaeda has a history of targeting landmark dates. Last year, there was an attempted Christmas Day attack on a plane travelling to Detroit.

Yesterday’s operation was led by West Midlands Police, supported by Scotland Yard’s Counter Terrorism Command, South Wales Police and Staffordshire Police. Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner John Yates, Britain’s top anti-terror officer, said: ‘This is a large-scale, pre-planned and intelligence-led operation.

‘We are unable to go into detail at this time about the suspected offences. However, I believe it was necessary to take action to ensure public safety.’

At least five addresses were raided in Stoke-on-Trent. Three terraced houses, including two neighbouring properties, were searched in Grove Street, Cobridge, near the city centre.

Police said four men, one 19, one 25 and two 26, were being questioned. One was arrested at a friend’s house in Birmingham.

The five men held in Cardiff were all of Bangladeshi origin and community leaders were informed of the arrests.

Police arrested three suspects at a large Victorian house in a quiet suburban street in the Riverside area and two at their homes in the Ely area. They were aged between 23 and 28.

In London, police arrested three men aged between 17 and 28 at their homes in the centre of the capital. A fourth home was also being searched.

All 12 suspects, two of whom are thought to have worked for the Post Office, were detained by unarmed officers, with gun-carrying colleagues on standby, on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism in Britain.

Phones and computers were taken away for examination and a Mercedes estate car was seized in the Riverside swoop. The suspects’ immigration status was being investigated.

Inquiries were also under way to establish whether any bomb-making equipment or explosives had been stored at other locations.

Staff at nightclubs and main retailers in Cardiff have been on alert for days after warnings of a possible terrorist attack in the run-up to Christmas.

One nightclub owner revealed how a Facebook campaign warned people to stay out of the city centre bars over the weekend.

The UK’s terror threat rating remains at ‘severe’, the second highest rating, meaning a terrorist attack is highly likely. Mrs May said the UK faces ‘a real and serious threat from terrorism’.

YOUR XMAS IS EVIL

Posters made by Muslim fanatics branding Christmas evil have started to appear in Britain’s street
”

23rd December 2010
By Tom Savage

POSTERS made by Muslim fanatics branding Christmas evil have started to appear in Britain’s streets.

The ads are by friends of hate preachers Anjem Choudary and Omar Bakri Mohammed.

Residents in Tower Hamlets, east London, were furious after the posters were stuck on walls in the area.

Headed “The evils of Christmas”, they say the festive season leads to teen pregnancies, rape, paedophilia, domestic violence and drug abuse.

They start: “On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, an STD!!!”

The posters contain a phone number that has previously been used to promote talks by ranting Choudary and his criminal cohort Bakri.

London police said they have received complaints and are investigating the posters.

Moderate Muslims slammed Choudary and his mob for trying to stir up trouble in the community.

Tower Hamlets mayor Lutfur Rahman said: “The messages on these posters are offensive and do not reflect the views of the council or the vast majority of residents.”

Earlier this week he held a Christmas reception at the town hall for Christian leaders.

The controversial posters were spotted in Tower Hamlets by workers from the “Neighbours In Poplar” charity, who voiced their anger yesterday.

Outraged charity founder Sister Christine Frost said: “The more posters I saw, the angrier I got.

“Someone is stirring up hatred which leaves the road open to revenge attacks or petrol bombs through letterboxes.

“I told the Mayor if we said such things about Muslims, we’d be hanging from lamp-posts.

“The posters appear to be professionally printed and go on to say that ‘in Islam we are protected from all of these evils’.”

Local MP Jim Fitzpatrick said: “These posters are extremely offensive and have upset people.”

Speaking earlier this month, lawyer Choudary, 43, said any Muslims who celebrate Christmas would suffer “hellfire”.

“Abortion, unwanted children, domestic violence – it all happens at Christmas. Hopefully about a million people will pass through this area. We will speak to as many as possible about the issues,” he said.
