cococandy:I don’t even get your point. From the word go, I said I’m speaking from a man’s view. I equally stated my PERSONAL choice or preference of baby mama arrangement over marriage. Then I went ahead and highlighted some points on why I think the marriage of a thing is totally _fucked up. Then you came along and reaffirmed my points… even though from a female viewpoint, I suppose. So since both of us are saying the same thing, what exactly are you trying to say then? Why are you trying to so hard to ‘remind’ me that marriage is still a good idea (when certain conditions are met) even though you are already aware of how messed up it can get? |
itsmeurLady:You like marriage and that's okay. But why will you say that those of us that do not like the idea of marriage but prefer to go the baby mama way that something is wrong with us? This life is live and let live, please. Make you do your own, make another pesin do im own na. Na so e suppose be na. ![]() |

As a nigga, I prefer baby mama to marriage. Less stress. Free to mingle. Wide variety in sex. No stupid or greedy in-laws to deal with. And no fancy wedding. No controlling, clingy, jealous or spying wife to deal with. And even much more better still, no issue of cheating wife to deal with. Man fully focused on his careers and hobbies. No regrets or depressing thoughts about wifey getting old and unattractive. No divorce issues at all. And most importantly... No need whatsoever for having women (with their unending problems and issues) around. Baby mama era is the real deal. Any sensible man who really wants to experience total peace of mind should ditch the whole idea of marriage and go for baby mama. Marriage has little or nothing to offer men. He who has ears let him hear what the spirit says... |
You didn't mention the privacy issue associated with CCTV as one of its major disadvantages. |

I'm still waiting for the THREE DAYS DARKNESS the catholic folks used to scare us with back in those days to happen. Or maybe, Baba God has finally decided to change his mind and postpone the event? Ndi oshi. ![]() Religion is the biggest scam in the world!!! |
roqrules04:I bet, once you join them, you'll know. ![]() |
Born2Breed:Correct! |
I blame you for letting it get to that stage where they think they own you. Luckily, you can still redeem yourself. Just man up and tell them to do their worst. Be firm in your resolutions as from henceforth. If they eventually see that they can't break you; they might back down or worse still, they might call for divorce so you should also start preparing for that situation too. I don't really know how divorce thing works in Nigeria with regards to how much a man is going to lose for calling for a divorce but I hope it is not as terrible as what is obtainable in America. Good luck. Now to you all guys out there, listen up. Don't ever let a woman control you in any way!!! Learn to be firm whenever you are dealing with women... most especially when you are in a relationship. And it is good if you start doing this at the onset. That way, the girl can either fall in line or fall out in time!!! |
asuustrike2009:My friend just take your correction and walk away. Stop disgracing yourself biko. |
asuustrike2009:Just look at what someone who is probably a graduate is saying. So those of us who make the effort to at least write in good English adopted a second language in this part of the world different from the one you adopted? I'm just so sorry for the people that paid your school fees right now. Obviously, they have only wasted their money in "training" you. |
asuustrike2009:And I'm so sure that had it been you went to a good school yourself, you would have known it is "I'm sure" and not "Am sure". ![]() |
Mistake 11: Starting a sentence with "Am" instead of "I am" or "I'm" This is very disgusting to behold. In fact, anytime I see it, I know that I am most probably dealing with someone who is very unintelligent or someone who had a substandard education. Sadly though, so many people are making that mistake on a daily basis which makes me to question the standard of education we are now getting in this country. The only time you can start a sentence with "Am" is if you are asking a question. For instance, one can write "Am I still going to get the laptop you promised?" You can see the question mark there which marks off the sentence as a question. Other than that, beginning a sentence with "Am" shows that you probably got an F9 in your WAEC English, or maybe someone helped you to "runs" your WAEC English. I get that most people who often write "Am" at the beginning of a sentence that is not a question do think it is the same thing as "I'm" probably because they (almost) sound alike. But in truth, "I'm" is just the shortened form of "I am". I hope someone somewhere has learnt something from this explanation? |
The French president is a remarkable character. The young man sat next to the Croatian president and he used the opportunity to observe the lady very well. And then he realized that his own wife is really old. |
It's really funny how so many people don't know that the elephant is truly a very dangerous animal. Well, I didn't know myself until I started watching some elephant adventures on Nat Geo Wild. You can imagine my surprise when I eventually learnt that of all animals in the world, it is only the elephant that has no direct prey. Meaning that, the elephant is truly the only animal that is feared by all other animals. |
jimcaddy:@chi59 Did you just see what this guy posted? I told you it's better people (most especially men) start seeing marriage as a business venture and you are telling me it's all about love and all that. ![]() Well, I'm so glad someone else shares my opinion on that marriage of a thing. By the way, I like this your picture very much. You look so sharp and bright in it... even though the usual smile has gone. ![]() |
GoTV:Na wa o! All these for one guy? Abeg you know the guy before? Biko don't let hatred and frustration kill you on time. |
Please how can i get a 3-phase prepaid meter? I don't just like this single phase one that these people have installed for me. |
kapelvej:Actually, I think it's scot-free. |
What sort of writing is this? No paragraphs at all? God why have you blessed this country with more than enough lazy youths, why? |
morningstar55:But that second half against Nigeria still showed that Argentina is still pretty much struggling. I'd say they were just lucky to have escaped. But how far will their luck carry them? Let's just wait and see... |
argentina is playing france next. do you think they stand any chance going by their below par performance so far in this world cup? |
advocatebaba: ![]() Believe it or not, this your post really made me laugh. I kept on imagining my impatient father rushing to give birth to a wasted and frustrated stupid nonentity like me. Nwanne eh, you really have zero joy for my old man. But all the same, I'm so happy for you. You know why? You have upgraded so much on your poor spellings and meaningless abbreviations since our last banter. But that doesn't mean you are already there. You really need to work on your capitalization. Obviously, you are seriously having real problems in identifying where and when to apply capital letters. Your writings will surely improve with time, if only you will work seriously on that, trust me. ![]() |
advocatebaba:Can you imagine?! This idiot cannot even compose a simple sentence without resorting to using meaningless abbreviations! Can someone be really this lazy and stupid? Tufiakwa. Please go and learn how to spell correctly before you even come back here to bandy words with your father. Onukwu. ![]() |
Yomisky:You're welcome. ![]() |
ifynwa8:You don't write "Am a woman..." You write either "I am a woman..." or just "I'm a woman..." Take note. |
Yomisky:It is one of the capitalization rules. You capitalize "I" when you are referring to yourself in the sentence. Remember that you will always have to capitalize the first letter of your name when used in a sentence since your name is actually a proper noun. I hope I've made it quite clearer for you? ![]() |
advocatebaba:Thank you for pointing it out. It was a regrettable omission. Now, back to the issue at hand. Why is it so difficult for dolts like you to accept your mistakes and take corrections? Why are you always bent on proving to whoever is correcting you that they are not worthy to be making such corrections? Believe it or not, people who don't like to accept their mistakes in good faith are usually people with very extremely low IQ. Instead of accepting the message, they usually turn around and start attacking the messenger! Maka why na? Anyway sha, now that I have gone back to edit my initial error of omission, can you now kindly go back and edit your spelling error because there's no English word like "grammer". ![]() |
demondpelumi05:I am learning a new lesson. Or just... I'm learning a new lesson. But never... am learning... You can only start a sentence with "am" if and only if you are posing a question. For instance, Am I sure you will be there when I come to her place? |
