boboLIL: This topic is one of the reasons I love dis gal I'm dating... A nigerian wid white gals' mentality....I call her my guy... I love ur choice of words. Every race is identified by their culture. Those acts op mentioned are white man's culture & hence considered shameful cuz we're giving away our core values for another man's culture. As developed as the Arabians, Chinese & some countries are, they still retain their cultures & ppl still visit for tourism. Again there's no such thing as a perfect culture but if we lose what differentiates us from the white man, we're just going to be a fabrication or 'refurbished' version of the white man. That's how one day with my naija gra gra I go scold my white babe, na so she start dey cry oo.. Try dat with our naija babe now.. With all that said I personally prefer a girl with a white girl's mentality |

fastestfinger: pls, just shut up already...your emotional outbursts is devoid of any logic whatsoever. What do you have to say about the sunnis that block major roads during their prayers and ceremonies?
Don't be a hypocrite! Is it even only muslims? When I was in lagos, one of the christain sects. The ones dat dont wear shoes, they also blocked the road during one of their rites and nobody complained. what of jehova witness dat dont accept blood donation even if it is to save their lives in the hospital? what of pastors & priests claiming to bless church member with sex. Nobody should claim they are religious if the they think only their religion is right. That's hypocrital & I know no religion supports dat. Just cuz some ppl commit atrocities in the name of religion doesnt mean other members & the whole religion should take fall for it. |

Gentin: the language you spoke is it arabic? no sir, we don't need sunni islam in Nigeria. no one wants you here with your satanic laws.
English is the lingua franca, we were never colonised by Arabs and thier idiotic supremacy, therefore that inscription should leave the Nigerian army alone. Islam brings pain than good. even the owners of english dont have english on their coat of arms. Funny the great american seal has got arabic numerals. Pls channel ur anger into educating urself. Ignorance wont reduce the price of pms or improve exchange rate. Thanks

gimakon: A lot of things are very wrong with it. Major Languages in Nigeria - Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa.
Question is why arabic! Na only Quran alone we day read for here? Why indirectly implement sharia nd islamic laws into a nation? Is it necessary? So which language should be chosen out if the 3? Or all 3 of them should be used? Mind u we have more than 300 languages in Nigeria & everybody deserves their language to be represented. If u have a better language other than arabic pls feel free to sue the govt. |

Oliviaarims: Yes, courtesy demands that u give a listening ear. But it isn't in all situations that ppl can afford to be courteous... And for some others, courtesy isn't anywhere in their dictionary. Will a guy then at that point start trying to teach her ideals?
Humans have varying attitudes and dispositions we can't change. The best each individual can do is to lookout for himself. yeah I agree. U know theres really no harm in advocating for positivity, I mean there's too many bad guys already |

Oliviaarims: Well, it's a bit technical. I guess there are times a guy feels desperate because he believes he just has to talk to her because he may not see her ever again...He should be bold and be prepared for the worst... Coz some girls are effing rude! Best thing to do is to walk up to her, don't ask her to stop. When u catch up with her, ask for permission to walk with her or talk to her briefly... If she agrees, then she'd be nice. If she says no... Well, lol... Respect urself and be on ur way. Don't even bother asking for her number.
I'm a bit of a shy person... I don't appreciate stopping to talk with guys on the road. I simply feel everybody's looking at me even if they aren't. If u'd walk with me, then fine. epitome of maturity & a civilized human right there. Who ever said u must accept whatever requests the person has got? & even if the person has a bad intention, who said the person will let go just cuz u refused to stop. It's courtesy to give people a listening ear when they approach u. If a guy is courageous enough to approach a girl on the street, it should be seen as a compliment & if the girl is not interested she should just say thank u & moved on. Theres no need to be all aggressive just cause somebody admires u. |

Except for the expression on his face and the length of his hair, they are a bit fair in his skin colour and structure. Not the sexy white man that you think. He was more like a black man. Politics › Re: Nairaland Says No To Secessionists by ColeworldMD(m): 6:18pm On Dec 10, 2015 |
warrior01: You go ban tire na. So what happens to freedom of expression and beliefs? So Yorubas are free to aspire and promote their Odua beliefs and Hausas, Arewa but Igbos of course are to be banned to talk or aspire for their beliefs in Biafra. Highly disappointed in you Seun.
What stops you from coming up with a superior argument why they should remain in Nigeria? Why are you so scared to discuss Biafra? Must we all have the same line of thoughts or intellectual discourse? I reject being or tagged a zombie where a fellow man will dictate what I discuss. We live in a democratic govt as such freedom of speech is not a crime, as such peaceful Biafra protest is allowed. I understand the ibos feel 'marginalised' & they deserve to be given a listening ear to sort out out things! In my opinions frustrations & the current harsh economy has perpetrated these agitations. Although I have a few questions: This is a supposed diplomatic dialogue as wole Soyinka suggested, which I think is the way forward 1) why do the Ibos as a tribe feel particularly singled out e.g not being allowed to produce a president. Remember; - although hausa, ibo & yoruba are majority, we have more than 300 tribes in Nigeria. In 16yrs of PDP, OBJ (Yoruba) - 8yrs, Yaradua (Fulani) - 2yrs, GEJ (Ijaw) - 6yrs, PMB (Fulani) - 4yrs 2) why do u feel the feel the federal is primarily responsible for the "marginalisation" the ibos are going through, whereas ur governors have not done their own job by efficient utilization of allocated funds? Who do you then attack for instance if Biafra is actualized, because the governors dont seem in support of the movement yet. 3) why were properties of non ibos destroyed in the process of the protest 4) Refer to picture below:
