I work with an ICT company, as a technical staff. we train students when it comes to the use of computer softwares. Also we are into computer maintenance.

But there is a bad side of it, I don't get paid on time. and apart from that, the pay is not much despite the huge income that comes into the company from training and repairs of computers and printers. The worst part of it is that I was not given xmas holiday despite the fact that the school is on holiday. and what pains me most I have not been paid December salary and it has made the christmas celebration very bad for me. I think I am just being used to build the organisatiion with low return on my side.

I have thought of quitting the job several times, but another thought comes to me not to. Please niaralanders, I can't keep this decision to my self alone and I need your advice. If you were In my shoes, what will you do?

A man identified as Chukwudi Iwuchukwu has allegedly shut down his bank account with Guaranty trust bank following the recent issue the bank has with Innoson motors boss, Chief Innocent Chukwuma.

It will be recalled that Chukwuma was arrested by the Economic and financial crimes commission, EFCC, in Enugu on Tuesday morning. He accused GTB of being behind his ordeal because of a debt the bank owed him.

Iwuchukwu took to Facebook to announce his decision;

This morning, I walked into the nearest GTB branch and requested for a form to close our company account with them.

The gorgeous lady who attended to me wanted to know why I was closing the account and moving the funds to Zenith bank.

I told her is very simple! I’m taking this action as a form of protest to the bank for the way they handled the Innoson saga and most importantly, for victimizing the man simply because of business transaction that went wrong.

Not only this, I have been on the phone since morning talking to 2 of my friends who are billionaires and who have billions of their company’s fund with the bank to move it as well.

Thank God they have done that, one authorized his accountant to move the funds from GTB to first bank, the other one from GTB to Zenith bank

The lady was dazed and I think it is very important the management of GTB get this memo.

I’m not a tribalist, I avoid tribal sentiments 
but you see there is a limit to what you see and observe happening to your people without taking action to protest.

What Innoson is going through in the hands of GTB is corporate wickedness and witchcraft.

I call on young And older entrepreneurs who have their business funds in that bank should move it today, not tomorrow but today in solidarity with our brother, jewel and one of our brightest son who slept in EFCC custody last night because of GTB.

We need to boycott GTB for being a useless bank and boycott them for good.

They are not the only bank in Nigeria.

Chief Innocent Chukwuma, the chairman of Innoson motors has denied claims by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, that he did not honour an invitation extended to him which is what led to his arrest.

Chukwuma says that no invitation was given to him and has not yet been told the purpose of his arrest. Below is a press statement obtained by PoliticsNGR signed by the Head of Corporate communications, Innoson, Mr Cornel Osigwe;

"Our attention has been drawn on a tweet by EFCC on its official Twitter handle claiming that the Gestapo kind of arrest of Dr Innocent Chukwuma (OFR) today at his Enugu residence was because he didnt honour an invitation from the commission sent to him.

This claim by the commission is not factual and it tends to mislead the public and bring the personality and character of Dr Innocent Chukwuma to disrepute. Hence we want to state the true position so as to inform the general public the truth about this matter.

EFCC never at any time invited Dr Innocent Chukwuma either in writing or through any other means. We are aware that EFCC investigated GTB complaint against Innoson in 2012.

During the investigation, he was invited and he honoured the invitation. After the investigation, EFCC filed a charge against him at Lagos State High Court. The charge was subsequently struck out. However, Dr Innocent Chukwuma and Innoson Nigeria Ltd appealed against the order striking out the case on the basis that it ought to be dismissed and not struck out. The appeal - appeal no. Ca/l/1330cm/2017 Is till date still pending at the Court of Appeal Lagos division? Till date, EFCC never invited Dr Innocent Chukwuma again.

On this recent arrest, Dr Innocent Chukwuma (OFR) has not been told officially the purpose of his arrest and he demands to know why."

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission says the Founder and Chairman of Innoson Motors, Chief Innocent Chukwuma, allegedly hired six truckloads of thugs to attacks its operatives when they went to arrest him at his Enugu residence.

The Spokesman for the EFCC, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, said in a statement that Mr. Chukwuma was arrested after failing to honour a series of invitations in breach of the conditions of his administrative bail.

The statement read in part, “A well known industrialist, Chief Innocent Chukwuma, popularly known by his company’s name, INNOSON, has been arrested by the EFCC. He was picked up at about 11am at his Savage Crescent, GRA Enugu residence on Tuesday, December 19, 2017.

“His arrest followed his refusal to honour invitation by the commission having earlier jumped an administrative bail granted him in a case being investigated by the Capital Market and Insurance Fraud Unit of the commission’s Lagos office.


“Chukwuma, rather than honour the invitation by the EFCC, mobilised six truckloads of thugs pretending to be staff of his company to his residence, where they manhandled EFCC operatives.

“It took reinforcement from the Enugu office of the EFCC to arrest the industrialist who is currently being grilled by a team of investigators

Why all these? When we saw that gimmick, we didn’t react to it because we knew it was one of such cock and bull stories. Afterall, one time speaker of the State House of Assembly had issued a similar threat last year and on the day he said he was going to have a rally against the government, he was not even in Owerri but in Abuja enjoying himself. At the end of the day, nothing happened.

Today, Monday, December 18, 2017 nothing happened with regard to the empty threat to“Occupy Imo”. Rather, supporters of the administration gathered in their thousands at the Heroes Square to celebrate President Muhammadu Buhari’s 75thbirthday.

And on what ground would any Imo man or woman storm the street against the government its achievements have superceded the achievements of all the administrations before it put together.

The truth of the matter is that the more than one thousand verifiable projects executed by Okorocha’s administration have become so intimidating that the few elite parading themselves as the opposition, most of the times, become hopeless, hapless and helpless. Our achievements are our own “bazooka rifle”. They can’t help it.

We would only extend our heartfelt gratitude to the good people of the state for their appreciation, understanding and unbridled cooperation. Our achievements will continue to speak and act for us to the glory of God.

Cutting the cake to mark President Buhari’s birthday, Engr. Kingsley Uju, Chief of Staff, Operations, said “Today, we are seeing genuine love in action. The Petrolex mega oil city is the site of the 300 million-liter tank farm that will be commissioned tomorrow, Dec 12, 2017. It is also the site of the proposed 250,000 bpd refinery, which will be the second, privately-owed refinery in Nigeria.

The expectation of the South-West zone was also compounded by the decision of the immediate past national chairman of the party, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, to open up the chairmanship contest to the whole south.

That decision, high party chieftains said at the weekend, was framed to also open up the presidential ticket zoned to the North to all areas of the North. Markarfi, who exited office on Saturday, had until the return of Atiku Abubakar, been considered the leading presidential aspirant in the party.

Meanwhile, multiple sources told Vanguard that some former PDP chieftains and some foundation members of the APC had been making overtures to rejoin or join the opposition party on account of developments at the weekend.

A senior party official privy to the developments that led to the emergence of Prince Uche Secondus as national chairman, said party elders had before the aborted Port-Harcourt convention of May 2016 agreed to micro-zone the position of national chairman to the South West.

Mr. Agbaje, who was the candidate of the party in the 2015 governorship election, was projected by the governors, following the resolve of the governors through Governor Nyesom Wike and the National Assembly caucus through Senator Ike Ekweremadu, the Deputy President of the Senate.

However, after the crisis broke out between the mainstream of the party and the Senator Ali Modu Sheriff faction, Agbaje, one of the very prominent party figures, was alleged to have become detached from the party.

“All the time we were in court, we did not see Agbaje. After the court judgment, when he now came and wanted to proceed from where we stopped, we told him to go away,” the normally reliable source disclosed at the weekend.
