You cannot interview and insider in an organisation and turn around to claim that his statements represent the views of the organisation, unless he is authorised to speak on the matter. Unlike Vanguard who attributes he statement by a source to the whole Army.

The Military Board official spokesperson is yet to give us an official statement on this matter.

What is the Captains track record so far. I am not referring to how popular he is. Rochas even before becoming Governor did a lot for the people of Imo state.

His track record is centered mainly on employment and industries. He is one of the few sons of Imo state remembered the state in terms of investment unlike others woo invested only in Lagos, Onitsha or even Aba, he created many jobs for the youths in the process. Rightly or wrongly he also helped many Imo state qualfied indigenes get appointments in the Ministry of Interior when he was there. They believe that if he could do so much as a minister, he will do much more as governor, they also believe his experience in the private sector can help ignite the much needed industrialization of the state. These are just the what I can say for now.

There is no rule that says there mustn't be freedom of speech in a military system, Buhari created that decree specially for himself, Babangida removed it when he took over. Buhari can sponsor an act or whatever in a democratic setting too.
So it is about the will of the person and not the system.

So what? This is Nigeria where northerners are given extreme preferential treatment in the Nigerian army. He also joined the army at a time when they were in dire need of volunteer soldiers so he probably didn't neet any cerificate to join then.
However the Nigerian constitution clearly states the minimum qualification he needs to contes for president.
As for the US war college, where is the certificate he got from there?
