Igbos communities are in Benue state, Kogi state and maybe very few in Edo.

Cross rivers, Adamawa, Plateau, Taraba, Kaduna and Rivers are the most multi- tribal dominated states in Nigeria.

Popular Nigerian comedian, Okey Bakassi has reacted to criticisms meted out on Labour Party's presidential candidate, Peter Obi over a purported leaked audio conversation between the LP candidate and Founder of the Living Faith Church, Bishop Oyedepo, IGBERETV reports.

Peter Obi appealed to Oyedepo to help him galvanize Christian votes from the Southwest, as was heard in the leaked audio.

Reacting to the criticisms, Okey Bakassi wrote on his Twitter handle;

kingthreat:
Insult Soyinka all you want. Simply know that his Nobel prize for Literature is something the entire Alaigbo is yet to attain
A noble prize is not Wisdom.
A noble price is only an acknowledgement of ones knowledge in a certain field of study.

Nigerian elections have shown the world that having a professorship doesn't make that person upright...e.g Prof. Mahmood Yakubu and his Rec profs of INEC.

Prof. Soyinka lacks wisdom.
Wisdom can not be given by men or can it be bought by money or influence.

It is given by God, earned and grown by deliberate actions.

Prof. Soyinka is a mischievous man.

Why hasn't he offered to debate the APC government since or Lai Mohammed since the inceptyof this current administration.

All of a sudden, Soyinka has found his voice...the same voice he lost since Buhari came president....he couldn't even come on air to criticize or protest the various mala-administration of the very APC he helped being to power....all because of the peanut change that he enjoys from them.

The media propaganda battle he has been seeking from LP will soon swallow him...all the while the whole nation were complaining of fraudulent elections, did Soyinka speak up...??

I believe that neither Dr. Datti nor Obi nor any official of LPNg will stoop low to his level to give him a reply.

This man has lost his relevance and reputation....Soyinka is working for Tinubu and APC
Having a noble prize is not wisdom.
An elder is only respected when he respects himself.

https://saharareporters.com/2023/04/07/obidients-one-most-repulsive-putting-concoctions-i-ever-encountered-political-arena
Soyinka is a tribalist. It is unfortunate for him
He has been unleashed by Tinubu's APC to engage in media propaganda war against Obidients and Peter Obi but he will surely fail.

We have not forgotten his active roles in protests to remove GEJ.

But when Buhari came in and everything went bad, he lost his voice, he couldn't speak up for 8yrs, he couldn't organize or participate in a protest against mis-governance, insecurities, economic downturn, sentimentalism and other ills of the current administration and APC.

All of a sudden, he has found his voice again since the past 4days now, all against Obi and Obidients all because Obi wants to challenge their fraudulent results against his kinsman Tinubu.

Soyinka is a chameleon and a failure of government critic...he has rubbished his once highly held reputation for a plate undone portage.

We can never be deceived, we know this is the distractive handiwork of APC&Tinubu to try to intimidate Obi and his followers but it is a failed agenda and dead on arrival.

Let them know that no matter what they throw on Obi, Obidients and LabourPartyNG, they will overcome.

Obi, Obidients and LP will continue to match on and recover the stolen mandate.

I know Igbos are your nemesis....you tremble at the thought of Igbos and they occupy your mind free of charge.

Purge yourself of hatred....Igbos are not the cause of your frustrations.

For the record...Igbos can stand the Hausa North as they have been standing up for themselves against any tribe...they only reciprocate the energy you serve them.
Besides Igbos and Hausas(Northerners as well as most tribes in Nigeria continue to live in harmony) that is why you find Igbos amongst different tribes everywhere.

Your pain is that despite the first thrown at Igbos in Nigeria....their spirits are cowed neither are they detered rather they surge forward in success.

Stay away from bitterness bro, it is evil
Celebrate grace jare.

This is highly commendable of former president Chief Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR.

He has shown himself to be a man of compassion, Nationalist and a true ditrabilised leader.
Something some Nigerian leaders can not be.

I perceive baba wants to rewrite the wrongs of the past, set new templates of doing things a better way in Nigeria so that when he leaves the stage he will leave with his head held up high and in glory.

This is how you know a true elder stateman hold is responds to issues with truth and compassion.

That letter is so on point...the British should temper justice with mercy.
Mr&Mrs Ekwerenmadu are high ranking Nigerian public official and senator...and a parents who fell for this crime accusations because they wanted to save their child.

But in all, those powers behind his ordeals and the boy used in question should prepare for "what goes around that will come around"...if complesit.

History is good!!!!

Blast from the past, post civil war.

Please listen to the words from the people in the two different videos.

YORUBA: We LIKE them, we WANT them, they are still Nigerians.

IKWERRE : They misbehaved. They should REMAIN in their East Central States [ Igbo lands..Today's South-East ]

Do you know that Portharcourt in today's Rivers State is just about 40km from ABA, in today's Abia State, heartland of Igbo land and both people have a greater affinity and are more or less together igbos.

But YORUBAS have absolutely nothing in common with the igbos from any point of historical recollection.

Whereas, most points of the cities of the Yoruba SW should be about 600km from Onitsha in Igbo land.

But the Easy-going, God-fearing, Friendly, Peaceful and Accommodating Yoruba people threw their gates wide opened and embraced the igbos in brotherhood after the war.

TODAY, the YORUBAS are the rascals who must be dealt with for that action of hospitality.

Yoruba land is the one that MUST BE DOMINATED by the igbos.

Yorubas are the ones who deserve to be TERRORIZED ECONOMICALLY by the drug-peddling Igbo traders and PHYSICALLY THREATENED by their hated-crazed IPOB miscreants.

Be the judge.

Let the igbos judge the case by their own conscience.

India needs no one at all, few years from now they will be number 1 in population. They and China are what matters most in BRICS but both can never see eye to eye on things, the Chinese will tell you INDIA is the only country they fear aside America
Russia is a paper tiger the only noise they make is NUCLEAR this nuclear that, aside Moscow and St Petersburg the rest of Russia is just Africa all thanks to POOtin
Brazil will only do business with China in Yuan but any other country forget, they are too enlightened exposed and westerned to listen to the likes of tyrant POOtin who wants to rule Russia till he dies
Don't mention South Africa, Nigeria with less than 4000MW is still Africas number one you de mention South Africa for world economy

Boy, Small Germany exports more than the Russia alone yet you de mention BRICS.... ogbeni lemme go feed my chickens
Bro, you are just an American fan boy.
Alot of the things you said up there are fallacies intended to misinform unsuspecting or uninformed public.
Don't allow yourself to be played by the western controlled media and soft power influence...seek for true unbaised knowledge.

US is as good as her allies.....Russia has now understood that game and joining in on it, which the Chinese understood long ago and has been perfecting....Saudi Arabia has also understood that allies that don't undermine you arrogantly but respect you are the best allies to have...same as other countries like Brazil, South Africa and etc.

There is a reason Turkey and India despite their much closeness to the west and US....alligns in alot of issues with Russia.

Turkey&India refused to sanction Russia also and see Russia as dependable partner...even Isreal too to some extent.

India may not agree with China in alot of things due to rivalry but they trust the Russians unmeddling partnership.

Russia is as powerful as the US in most sectors except for soft power&economy which the Russians didn't see the need to pursue aggressively because they operate a policy of 'internal convenience& contentment'....however they have learnt the hard way the need to do so and expand due to unnecessary NATO aggression towards them.

If Russia wasn't as powerful as your claimed why does NATO( an alligence of over 18 nations) see Russia as their biggest threat and operates a policy of containment with Russia.

Russia has one of the largest, equipped, innovative and modern armed battle tested military&talented security forces, vast innovative science &tech industry, Powerful space science&rocketry industry, abundance of vital natural&mineral resources, huge agro industry that makes them way self sufficient and feed the world due to huge fertile land mass, the 3rd&2nd largest foreign reserves in cash and gold which is way above what the US has as savings, least indebted, with over 2trillion dollars economy more than enough for her less than 200milliom people.(Russia runs a prudent economy)
The only thing the Russians lack is global economic spread and soft power(media, cultural & entertainment)...which they have have awoken to.

This Ukraine war as turned out to awaken Russians...the west has succeeded in pushing the Russians to enter into the game of global dominance with them and guess what...Russia is sending shivers down their spine.
Examples of some of the things Russia has been able to achieve within this little time..

*Internal economic depth, self dependence and economic cooperation shift towards the east and other blocs.
*Military rejuvenation (which has gradually been ongoing before the Ukraine conflict)
*Reawakened national interest in geopolitics and national patriotism towards Russian agendas
*Diplomatic and military influence spread across the world...e.g take a look at some french colonies where Russia is steadily exerting her influence to displace the french(central African republic, Mali, Burkina Faso, Congo DRP, Haiti, Guinea etc)
Even in English colonies(India, Pakistan, Uganda etc even Nigeria)
In Arab world, China, Eastern Europe e.g Serbia, Bulgaria, Belarus, Germany, Turkey, Moldova, Georgia, Khazastan, Turkmenistan, Targiristan etc...even the Saudis.
In south America(Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua etc)
The whole of south east Asia of Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand etc.
*Financial payment and monetary system change.....the Russians has succeeded in pushing for changes(decline) in the use of petroDollars as the world's means of exchange&reserve....they have helped push for the Yuen, Rubble and now the Rupee as alternatives..with some of the top 20 biggest economies in their allegance fold they will challenge the US dollar head on.....more countries in Southeast Asia have joined in.
*More countries now, see Russia as dependable ally who do not meddle or manipulate so they are opening up their doors to Russian interests which is are bankrolled by Chinese financial muscle.
*RUSSIA has successfully created a bipolar world ..something most nations have been longed for.
Remember North Korea and Iran are another powerful military allies of Russia and not to forget Belarus.
And with their seat at the UN permanent security council, they are near untouchable in terms of powerful influence.

For the full NATO to join forces with other non NATO apologist(Japan,South Korea, Australia etc) against Russia and China....that should tell you that those two are way powerful and dreaded by the west.

Ukraine and NATO continues to learn in a harse way about the Russian power, capabilities and resolve....in all this Russia's territorial integrity and security remains intact and solid.

The Russians have a rich history of geopolitical power play and military excellent backing them and with a modern leader powered by passion for his country's sovereignty.

Fear Russia, underrate them at your own peril.

The US (NATO) may have won the contest by Finland joining NATO but they are losing the bigger war of growing Russian influence and dominance internally in Russia and around the world.

I watch this man's interviews and I release that he doesn't call out evil, he is always using the medium to solicit for patronage.
He is one of those elements that set the bar of selling the truth of law to the highest bidders or being economical with the truth, being mischievous with facts that influences public opinion for selfish gains.

It is bad to see people who should be elder statesmen, who should speak truth to powers that be or try to correct the ills of the society at their old age still being mischievous and untruthful.

Anyways, those are his opinions....he has rights to it....let the courts decide in truth.

No, he didn't

Even the Bible didn't support the stoning of the adulterous woman

I don't want lgbtq rights in Nigeria but death penalty for it in any country is too severe

Banning gay marriage is more than enough

If there is any offence deserving of death penalty, it is corruption and looting.
You have a point about the harsh penalty there and I agree with you view.
However, know that some things needs to be approached with hostility to root it out.

Lol, No no no...you can't raise the bible argument but give it your personal spin my friend, let's not be hypocrites here..The Bible says "Sin is sin" Isn't that so? So if being gay is a sin, being an adulterer, a fornicator, a liar, or a murderer is also an equal sin...so says YOUR bible Isn't so?. heck, even I'd rather be gay than a murderer. I am not even trying to be "woke", I am being impartial, you should try it sometime.

You say "reasonable nationals," say No to "evil lifestyles" but look at Nigeria and look at the number of brutal, evil ritual killings at the hands of cultists happening every day over there, those are the real evil practices taking innocent lives..why is there not much noise over that? Or is that being "African"?
Oga stop forming woke....choose your stand and face the reward for it.
Don't try to shut my opinion or impose your support for unnatural acts and abomination because it won't work.

You can feel free to give yourself and your seeds to such lifestyle or better still relocate to the west your benefactors and sympathize with them.
Just know that LGBTQ+ will never be welcomed by Africans, our values and life system are totally against it.....respect that!

Atleast Africans don't go about imposing their systems on other under the pretence of 'freedom'.

There are fornicators, liars, adulterers, murderers, etc, etc..what makes being gay worse and "ungodly" than the aforementioned sins?
Yes, all are sinners no doubt but gayism is more vile, evile and unnatural.

Did the natural order of life originate from same sex reproduction..?

The problem is that most of us want to sound 'woke' and 'politically correct' to appeal to some certain people who desire to change the righteous natural order of things .
These vile people want to sholve down their vile ideas down people's throaths while they will fight you for standing for what you believe in.

Most Africans and other reasonable nationals of different nations of different continents all over the world has say a BiG No to these evil livestyles....why must the west want everyone to bend to their rules or be defined by their norms.

In this world, it is best nations' values are respected...if people say NO to gayism then leave them alone....keep the rubbish to only yourselves and don't bother to spread the virus.

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader, Julius Malema, and his supporters picketed outside the Uganda Embassy in South Africa's capital Pretoria on Tuesday.

Malema said Uganda's anti-homosexuality bill was dangerous and had to be opposed.

If the bill, recently passed by Uganda's parliament, is signed as law it will see people face the death penalty if criminally charged for their sexual identity.

EFF leader Julius Malema claims Uganda's controversial anti-homosexuality bill will allow the country's president, Yoweri Museveni, to prosecute political opponents.

Malema himself was draped in a rainbow-coloured flag.

He said the EFF opposed Museveni's efforts to prosecute people for their identity, adding the EFF could not simply sit and watch as fellow Africans were driven into hiding, fearing being arrested and killed.

"No one must take away an individual or community's life based on their identity. We cannot say we are celebrating Human Rights Day in South Africa, yet another part of Africa needs to celebrate human rights.

"We are saying Museveni leave the people as they are. It cannot be that you identify people based on hatred, and then you kill them. I am here to tell the people of Uganda we are with you against the tyrant," Malema added.

Museveni has been accused of oppressing political opponents who are against his government and long-held position as leader of Uganda.

Malema said the EFF already took issue with opposition leaders such as Bobi Wine, who cannot move freely in Uganda and has the army stationed outside his home.

Wine, a singer turned politician, contested, and lost against Museveni for the presidency in 2021. He has been under house arrest since December 2021.

Malema said Museveni's bill made no sense and instead was likely another tool to be used against his opponents.

"What science are they using to identify people as gay? Museveni could wake up one day and accuse Bobbi Wine of being gay and have him prosecuted," he added.
J. Malema missed it this time....it is unGodly to overlook an abominable and unnatural act and want to sound 'political correct' when he& his crew should stand on righteousness and demand the eradication of all gay livestyles from the whole of Africa and the world at large.

That was a foolish move from him and other misguided protesters.

Gays are never to be encouraged, it is an unnatural and unGodly livestyle, it the practioners change...they can be then rehabilitated but if not crush them out..!

Well-done and God speed to Uganda and other nations in the world that have outlawed gay livestyles.

Which one is unnecessary fear of Nigerians? Where have you been to that Nigerians are feared?? No dey let inferiority complex worry you, because nobody gives a damn.

Y'all make it seem like being a Nigerian automatically means that you're held to a certain standard. Truth be told, in the west, no one really cares where you're from, except for maybe the color of your skin. Some folks over here can't even place Nigeria on a map. There are a lot more people from other places whose cultures are more widespread and notorious than Nigerians, for good or for bad.

If you dey misbehave and people treat you the way you deserve, that's on you and not because you're a Nigerian. Na to take personal responsibility for your Bleep ups. Nobody's out to get you just because you're Nigerian.

We need to stop looking at things through the lenses of tribalism, ethnicism and low self esteem, otherwise we'll become our own problem.

Maybe na based on the particular country where you dey sha.
Brother man, there's nothing like inferiority complex here.....Nigerians are bold and never inferior and are very well know for their assertiveness, boldness and determination world over.
However in some foreign countries, the truth remains that Nigerians are not generally well received at first, they tend to apply so much level of caution, fear, animosity or hostility before they even begin to loosen up to accept you.

In some of these places, they already have a prejudiced mindset about Nigerians based on "hear say" which influences their reception of Nigerians and somehow the media and movie industries do not help matters as the news that comes out of the Nigerian space are mostly full of negatives while the movie industry projection of Nigerians as lawless, ritualists, witches& wizards do not help either.

Also the behaviors of some dubious/disrespectful Nigerians in the diaspora do not equally help matters.
