Yes sir. Solidly confirmed and affirmed. Though it may tarry, it must surely come to pass quickly. You are Peter, upon you God will build a new Nigeria.... nothing can stop it.
The heavens and the earth affirms it, God himself and his host of angels affirms, man and nature affirms it, spirits and objects affirms it, animals and plants affirms, Obidients and Nigerians affirms it and I myself affirm and confirm it.

BastadThiefnubu: Apologies to my good Igbo friends and relations...but it is sad that some of your folks can't resist the urge to always badmouth my people here. Imagine someone coming to attack Akwa Ibom people because of a rural road in Uyo. Why not attack or criticise the government and leave Akwa Ibom people out of your madness. Akwa Ibom makes enough money from oil and gas to create enough jobs for her people, regrettably this is not possible because the proceed is shared to unproductive states in Nigeria while some are stolen by the national government offficials of Nigeria in collaboration with the Western Government.
There was absolutely nothing on ground when Akwa Ibom was carved out of Cross River and it was recently after the onshore/offshore dichotomy that Akwa Ibom started having access to funds to build her infrastructure in Akwa Ibom. We are not yet there but we are moving and Rome was not built in a day.
Even till today, Akwa Ibom barely gets any project from the federal government unlike other states inspite being the goose that lays the golden eggs in Nigeria.
When folks are criticizing Akwa Ibom, they should be considerate and not vent their frustration on the state.
Oil producing territories in other climes are in control of their resources unlike Nigeria.
Correct. This is way more better response. Always remember that people hide under faceless forums to forment trouble.
BastadThiefnubu: Noisemakers na only noise una sabi . I.pigs go back to your dirty states
I thought you could behave better than that guy. You quickly fell for his bait. Have you not noticed that some people hide under topics such as this to cast aspersions and then turn to rope Igbos into it. What made you believe that guy was truly Igbo....was it because he mentioned Igbos in his writeup...?
This has always been the problem with most Nigerians .....once you hear Igbo, you immediately become woke and that is wrong.
This guy could be disguishing to target Igbo..... carefully check how he has been speaking and stylishly mentioning Igbos just to get you guys to start attacking them.
FellaG: Funny how one guy here is castigating Igbo for thier bad roads...lol..do you know how many billionaires whose businesses are inside that bad roads?lol..Everywhere is commercialized, thier Government is overwhelmed and need federal assistance which they don't get. But millions and billions are passing through those roads because the Igbo guys are hardworking people. In Akwa Ibom, many fine tarred roads for politicians to drive thier cars, even an airport for politicians to fly in and out anytime. Of what use are all those roads if most of the citizens are trekking and don't have cars?of what use is the airport if na only aktc your money reach?the airport is serviced by Igbo guys that come to patronize your girls at weekends and the few politicians holding u guys down. No wonder akwa ibom girls have stop marrying akwa ibom boys and opt for Igbo men.Because Igbo men are the real men.i hope violence will not break out in future when u guys realize you have sold all your lands to Igbo guys and Igbo guys have started snatching your wives..lol
Pls enough! You are beginning to sound condescending and very irritating. You have made your point on the things that Akwa Ibom must improve but don't talk to it's people like that.
Your choice of words are vulgar and too direct.
It's unfortunate that you roped Igbos into this charade of trading words......Most Igbos in this forum didn't say anything but you dragged them into this exchange because you mentioned them and now their enemies and friends alike think they are to be blamed for your aspersions.
It goes to show how people in Nigeria easily try to find their voice once they hear anything Igbo instead of attacking the you.....it is wrong.
For all we know you could be from anyother tribe and not Igbo.... trying to creat discord.
ExAngel007: How many of these fruits have you eaten?
You haven't eaten all.
I dare you!😀
God bless you O.p. Your topic is rich and you have taken us down the memory lane of beautiful days past. Nigeria is a blessed nation.
These fruits formed part of ones growing up experiences.
Alot of these fruit are exotic and non near extinct. The people and governments should do something to preserve these fruits God and nature has given us as heritage for us and the generation to come.
Every development mustn't be about property &land development but setting out reserve portions of land to grow&preserve these amazing fruits&plants.
Whoknow: The writer made mention of culture, yes every Region be it Hausa, Igbo or Yoruba have their culture and this culture effect the way they migrate for example Hausa's are nomadic in nature, meaning they are pasturalist their business is mainly in rearing cow and farming. It's only few that go to school hence does not farm and sometimes find their way to abroad for either schooling or business and these are mostly the children of their rich men. In other hand Igbo's are known for their business, hence it gives them the opportunity to travel round the world for their businesses.
Yoruba's are known for their been able to go to school and pursue knowledge hence this also takes them to abroad.
Adiob200: Looking at different tribes in Nigeria igbo, Yoruba and Hausa,,what I noticed is that Hausa are not that desperate in searching of greener pasture outside country,,,because hardly can u hear Hausa being caught with drugs, in news...can we say there is something unique in their culture which is lacking in others tribe,,though they also lacking in some ways...
Op, I hope this your post was made with the right intentions.
However to educate you on the questions you asked.
The Hausas/Northerners don't rush to go abroad because of the following reasons...
*The have government at their beck&call....they enjoy the Nigerian government benefits such as jobs, contracts, appointments& social supports more than any other tribe/region *They don't have large educated population range like the south to compete abroad *They are content somehow because they are lesser moved by money or materialism hence their lower involvement in crimes. *However, their contentment is not seen when they handle government positions as they are the must corrupt of government officials, who steal so much from the nation. *They are many abroad by most southerners don't notice....due to the fact that they are not loud people...you can find them in large numbers in some west African countries, North Africa, Arab nations of middle east, UK and few in U.S. Those of them in countries outside Africa are those of them from rich homes. The good thing about them is that they are always eager to return home immediately they are done with what took them outside. Many people don't know but Northerners(Hausa/Fulani) are some of the most travelled people of Nigeria. *As for crime, they commit it too... however the north operates this unwritten policy of 'cover up'....so they cover up themselves and are quick to help themselves come out of crimes. They use government covering to its fullest extent and the AREWA community influence maximally. The AREWA community is a very very strong body outside Nigeria and their use their connection well enough...in some cases involving Nigerian government officials discreetly for their gain(something these official will most probably not do if it is a southerner). *In all, the help themselves alot, most of them have jobs and government opportunities already secured for them ahead of other people from the south. As a northern once you manage to go to school, even with a poor result, he/she will easily secure a job...to the extent alot of them have government jobs& receive salaries even while still in schools. Go to all Nigerian government ministries, parastatals, agencies, commissions, embassies and co and see for yourself. They dominate positions and employment opportunities there. Even as we speak alot of them are getting government jobs& opportunities with ease secretly even before people from the south hears of such opportunities or jobs.
With all these, why would they be interested in going to the abroad?
Newly completed Ohaneze Ndigbo building Enugu, Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi rebuilt former Eastern region government house Lalasticlala
Gov. Ugwuanyi did very well on this. Give it to the man....he is a true unifier, a bridge builder, a man with Igbo affairs at the center of his heart& administration. That old history building conversation for Ohanaeze is very strategic though I prefer he had built another model structure as the main hqtrs will this can be used for general events. The governor has maintained Enugu as the capital of the Igbo nation and continued to support Igbo cohesion.
Kudos the governor and other incoming administrations should ensure they perform better.
In 2020, Shell Nigeria Gas, which provides gas to industrial and commercial customers in Nigeria, completed its 20-kilometre domestic gas pipeline expansion project in Abia State in south-eastern Nigeria. The pipeline connects three key industrial zones and supplies gas to a consortium providing electricity to the Ariaria market. The market is one of the largest leather-shoe-making and open-stall markets in West Africa, with more than 37,000 shops and around 1 million traders.
Shell Nigeria Gas has also started building a large gas processing plant in the city of Aba, Abia State,
God bless you OP for this cheerful piece. Aba and the East is rising steadily. Glory to God and kudos to the excellent men&women driving it.

This young man through Grace finished his Master's and PhD without a Job (just N-power and later make up classes and tutorials as well as home lessons in a low income area; Bori).
So mockery, jest , talk downs, insults etc, from people living in his environment and few other friends were so much.
In all, he continued without being distracted by the so many laugh
The mother and siblings consistently encouraged him and that's why the mother couldn't hide her Joy in celebrating him.
May God grant his heart desires and give him more promotion in life.
Wow! Absolutely beautiful...God bless mother and son. This generation of women should take a cue on how to be sacrificial&support dreams of their loved ones.... especially the men(husband and sons) in their lives.
These ones used their state as a bargaining chip to want to cling the top post in the nation. A reward for sacrificing their state's insecurity as a major factor in determining leadership in the last 12yrs now... Darkness can only last a few hours but light will chase it to oblivion.
TokunboCarsOnly: Nigeria is going through STATE CAPTURE before our eyes..
NDLEA DSS POLICE INEC JUDICIARY
Are all under the drug baron’s control..
There is only one institution that is yet to be captured and it’s the Nigerian Military and they are going for it soon.
Those who cheer and encourage the evil party APC will understand soonest. Even PDP was not as terrible as this. The whole of worst military dictatorship was a child's play compare to APC.
Yet some folks know this, they are suffering it yet support. But the bible is clear, it says evil will not depart from the house of the wicked. Those who understand certain things need not argue with this evil supporters.
Just leave them
You just spoke the whole undiluted truth.
But the good thing is that evil will never overcome good. Nigeria with all her institutions. must prevail and be delivered totally from the evil state capture of criminal elements , their supporters and party. No matter the number of evil people, the few good people will always overcome them.
WannaHowzit: Certain people from Worst Africa are gonna get deported in their millions.
They should take their SA girlfriends along to see how not ugly and disorganised that particular part of Worst Africa is, since they're the best thing since sliced bread 😕😕😕
You always share posts to unnecessarily provoke attacks from Nigerians and then turn around to look like the victim. Can't you just make your posts without provoking Nigerians to attack you or your nation.
There are illegal Nigerians in SA as well as other nationals in SA but does that of Nigerians cause you special sleepless nights..?
If your nation decides to do away with illegal Immigrants then good for you..Nigerians will support you too after all Nigeria herself has a challenge of undocumented immigrants from all over west Africa, central and northern Africa too.
There are so many South African illigal Immigrants in Nigeria and it's a verifiable fact, there are so many SA immigrants in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Madagascar, Mauritania, Sao Tome&Principe, Eqitoria guinea, Egypt,Benin republic, Ghana etc...let me not mention outside Africa for now.. Have these countries come after them like they do to others.
Nigerians are not your problem definitely not Zambians, Malawians, Zimbabwians, Somalians nor other foreign nationals...South Africa is her own problem. The crime there is mostly localized, the unemployment is localized, the bad economy is localized too.
SA needs every African, your leaders knows these but some of the chest beating locals don't....you can't exist alone in this age else you plunge.
If other Africans begin to respond in kind don't go about shouting victimization.
inoki247: Make PDP pick someone with sense and responsible and be ready to march Yahya Madness with Madness....
Cause this greediness u bring someone from the same place u came from after 8yrs...
Very funny people. You see how you guys(APC south west supporters) shift goal posts..? Same thing you guys propagated in the Federal level by fielding a Yoruba man after another Yoruba man, Muslim after muslim instead of supporting an Igbo for equity, fairness, justice and unity of the nation....you all sold your morality for tribal&religious gains.
Now it has come to Kogi state, you guys are now criticizing Bello.....the whole point of this your fake criticism is because he didn't allow the Yoruba side of Kogi get their chance again.
Now you want APC and FG to call him to order and equity to prevail. It doesn't work that way, you can not eat your cake and have it......at the end the greed and injustice of APC will destroy it and their supporters from within.
I like this sort of wisdom What a smart man.....some men should consider this pattern too. It seems as if he already knew his wife could not be trusted and the mother showed herself a reliable mother.
Omasi and Umueje communities in Ayamelum Local Government Area are to benefit from the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts of the cotton wooden gas plant and first Modular Systems Gas Ltd, partners to Orient Petroleum Plc. Beloveth John Funakpo of the cottonwooden and Theophilus Elobebam of First Modular Systems Gas Ltd (FMSGL), partners to Orient Petroleum Plc highlighted some of the objectives of the company to include establishing a dependable supply of gas across the region by processing, compressing and transporting to industry locations in the areas. It was also made known that the feed gas was 11 bars (1100kpa) from the ORR delivery line which enters a slug catcher (a.k.a separator) where natural gas liquids water and other impurities are removed. Their presentations showed that the feed gas enters a feed gas compressor and undergoes a two stage compression process to a pressure of 22.8 bars (2280kpa). It further explained that the pressurized and dehydrated feed gas flows into a light hydro-carbon recovery system during which process the enthanise which removes the butaniser components are separated. The Managing Director of Orient Petroleum Plc, Engr. Sunny Okoye, on his part noted that the 10 hectare gas project would encourage domestic utilization of natural gas in the South East region of the country.
My guy...God bless you for always giving us informative threads and cheering news of progress. LongLife4all: Dear all, please help me praise God for sparing my life, not because I am better than those who lost their lives.
You see, some things are better imagined than experienced and what happened on Tuesday is better left as imagination than reality. For the first time I saw something coming after my life but God proved that it was not yet my time to die.
Note: I may not be able to write much as I still haven't recovered from the shock, but I just want to share how God saved me. Also, am not a good writer, so dont expect the best.
The two links attached here reported the accident. You can check them and read on.
What happened is that the trailer was coming from Ikom side, going to Ogoja while the Sienna bus was coming from the Ogoja side to Ikom, heading to Calabar, in Cross River state.
As okada man, I was to carry a bag of cassava for someone and drop for the owner using that road.
So what happened is that I was on speed trying to climb the hill on that road. Then a sienna was climbing the hill too but a bit distance from me. That is, I was behind the Sienna from a distance. The trailer was coming down from the hill. What I would say is that the trailer failed brake and lost control too and rammed into the Sienna bus that was climbing the hill even though the bus driver tried to dodge it. I don't know how it is called in English that part of the road that has this natural deep pit from both sides of the road, that if a car by mistake leave the main road into the pit, the car will likely summersault many times before it will get to the bottom of the pit. I don't know how else to explain this better but it was that kind of place that the accident happened. So from what I can say is that, the truck driver was trying to avoid falling into the pit but wanted to control the vehicle till it will stop by itself on a flat land but unfortunately he rammed into the bus that was coming in front of it, dragged it down the hill as it was going till the flat land, killing the occupants. As the bus was been dragged down, I could hear the people in the bus shouting. A very terrible accident scene that nobody would wish to experience in life.
So as I saw the truck dragging the bus down on speed, closing up with me, and if my choice was to turn 360 and run, I would have been caught up in it. Instead, my mind quickly told me, to avoid being consume, drive into the pit, which I did, jumped out of the bike as it was going down the pit while I was also rolling down on my own, hitting myself from one tree to the other, and at the same time, trying to hold anything to stop myself, untill I was stop by a tree. I can't tell how the bike stopped by itself but it took the help of others to bring the bike out from the bottom of the pit.
Though I have wounded myself internally and physically, but is far better than those who unfortunately lost their dear lives. I believe God just wanted to give me another chance to live and testify His goodness.
The bike is seriously damaged and will require a lot to fix it. Same thing with my health. Still, i remain thankful to God for sparing my life even though for now, I'm in bad health condition and my source of survival which is the bike is gone too. He will restore all for me, amen.
May the souls of the departed rest in peace.
This is just Nairaland testimony, By the grace of God, once I can, I will do a proper one in church.
So brothers and sisters, help me thank God for sparing my life in the face of a fatal accident.
God bless you all and may you never die on road accident or experience it.
All glory be to God almighty who spared you in his infinite mercies. It is sad to experience accidents or loss of lives...may their souls rest in peace and their loved ones find comfort....we as humans can only wish the accident never took place. No one can question God.
This Adewole Adebayo of SDP(I think)guy was never a serious contender of the presidential elections.....always taking rubbish
He was a Tinubu boy from the get go and sponsored by Tinubu to cause distractions.
This is one reason why INEC needs to sanitize the political space, cleanse out all these unserious politicians from unserious parties.
The guy is a failed clown, licking Tinubu's boats up&down for fermented crumbs.
That these Tinubu's men are seen in a picture with some whitemen in a room doesn't make them technocrats or working for our good.....for all we care, they could be negotiating how to hand over the nations collective wealth to foreign economic hitmen for their personal pocket gains.
Dsalvo: You're from the SS right? Then fight for your people and their interests because lately you seem to be confused and working yourself up over what is not your business.
You have mentioned this "Lagos screaming go back to your region" issue several times but you need to look within yourself and tell us when this has ever applied to anyone other than Igbos who deliberately take it upon themselves to fight, demean and alienate their host with divisive antics knowing such behaviour will only gain negative responses alone.
Have you ever screamed "Yoruba Moslem" to divide Yorubas as Igbos love doing? If not, why are you so bothered about the reaction such repellent behaviour from Igbos is gaining today from the Yorubas?
Are we Yorubas alone in our behaviour or have Ghanaians, South Africans, Indians, Indonesians, Kenyans, Zimbabweans etal , after far less provocation, not dished out worse to Igbos?
If in Ghana on holiday or for work/business in future then begin beefing Ghanaians, as you seem obsessed to do against Yorubas, for bouncing Igbos from their market rather than jejeli enjoying yourself safe in the knowledge that Igbos alone should deal with whatever repercussion arises from their covetous arrogance, disrespect and hate towards other in their own land.
No Yoruba has any problem with SS, Middle belt or even Northerners today and currently. We have no problem with them living with us in the SW.
Our problem is with Igbos and how they wish to drag with us in our land as if they can defeat us.. This is because, fundamentally, Igbos want to dominate everyone everywhere.
They do not and will never respect boundaries as other Nigerians, including SS folks, do. In Yorubas they have met their match and even superior.
The quickest way to be unfortunate in life is to carry another man's wahala on your own head rather than let them answer for their misdeeds alone.
Show me where Yorubas have ever threatened SS folks to justify your stance today. Also, prove how just and fair-minded you are as a person if you cannot see Igbo wrongdoing and the consequent negative reaction such gains worldwide today.
You are actually dumb. All the trash you wrote up there are lies filled with your kinds usually media propaganda against a tribe.
Incase you don't know....Yorubas in their numbers are causing problems for other Nigerians in Benin republic, Togo, Ghana, Ivory coast, UK, US, Saudi, Dubai, Turkey etc....they have serious problems there with the Natives of these countries due to their affinity with crimes as yahoo, drugs, online frauds, rituals, coverteousness of lands etc most of them have no tangible businesses to their name other than crimes and these info&facts are everywhere in the media....travel or check it out yourself. (Apologies to sensible Yorubas)
Yet nobody has picked on them for that....so stop trying to change narratives
Everytime Igbo this, Igbo that......go and sleep and allow them rest.
How you& your kind managed to drag an informative topic as this into tribal arm contest is a wow.
