nairalandankrah:Very insensitive and rubbish statement to make at this time from a supposed elder statesman. He is always silent in the face of annihilation against his Jos people but always active to rush to Aso Rock to collect envelopes in order to sing their praise. Some people should be wiser at that old age. |
dre11:Though this is not a pleasant news at all as no genuine business ought have to go through these crises however, I like the fact that this is happening to all these big foreign companies operating in Nigeria. Their home governments and diplomates were complicit in plunging Nigeria into this mess by their various political and economic interferences in the Nigerian system, dinning and whinnying with our very corrupt and compromised leaders.......recognizing election riggers and subtilty encouraging riggers because they are big names with corrupt connections to give them undue advantages in our nation. Their govts thought they could eat their cakes and have it now God& nature has come for their interests in Nigeria. Next time, they&their cover government officials should endeavour to know that elections have consequences. We all saw how slot if them from Britain, US, France, India, China, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands etc were floricking with some certain incompetent and corruption election contestants during election even going far to invite and give them their national platform just to endorse the many election illegitimacies all because of evil strong hold d they hoped to have using willing tools in our political leaders. Most Nations knew Peter Obi was the right candidate, they knew Igbos deserve that seat but out of sheer wickedness they looked the other way and even enabled injustice, now their companies and interests are under serious economic threat in Nigeria. You can not throw monies at corrupt incompetent officials during elections, recognize them after hijacking the system and not reap from such evil seeds. Hypocrites! |
SpecialAdviser:💯% wise advice. I endorse it. |
Dynamicboss:17 |
DrayZee:True my guy. They disrespect the guy too much.. Though he might not perform perfectly most times but that Iwobi is a silent midfield engine that makes the team tick......except for his sluggish play, he can create spectacular passes, attack and score outstanding goals on his good day. We should accord him his own due respect and critise when necessary. |
nlfpmod:44yrs and still hot 🔥 Happy birthday Tiwa Savage....now grow with and show more wisdom in your dealings...long life, health and fulfillment is all I wish you. |
kanupapilo:You have posted the truth. The French, the criminal gang of local&foreign business capitalists together with the British&U.S support for covert operations have state captured Nigeria and Nigerians aretoo carried away with frivolities to even notice. Now I understand why the South Africans pushed out Zuma and his 'Powerful foreign Indian' gang of shadow cabinet to avoid looming foreign or business capitalist capture of their nation. |
oz4real83:Abegi.... Ain't you guys tired of all these lies? When dollar exchange rate was as low as N250 per dollar was Nigeria not an import dependant nation then? Is Nigeria they only import dependant nation? The truth is that people have hijacked the common wealth of Nigeria for private us at their own suitable terms, while others horded stolen monies in foreign currencies for speculation. Government needs to take hard & bold actions. |
Islie:No pictures? No interviews? But if na so called "Chinasa Philips" pictures& interviews go full the whole internet. |
IjawAdvocate:Una sure say this guy well at all...? What color of foolishness is this one again? It's so unfortunate this man came from the loins of great man Pete Edochie. He is busy messing up the reputation&name his father worked hard to build. No man should have such a confused& controversial son or child. May God help him out of whatever are his issues. |
Valwezzy:I see what you did there.... rhymes 😂 ![]() |
NwaAmaikpe:My guy.... greetings 🤗 |
dominique:Very true. The abuse Nigerian Workers go through especially in the private sector is mind boggling. A lot of private sector enterprises &their management in Nigeria are wicked, manipulative and time wasters. Alot of them hide under one connection or the other to perpetrate wickedness....as for the banks the give alot of unrealistic and unGodly targets to their workers especially casual staffs and marketers that is why I am not often moved by their different quotation of figures& capitalizations Another set of wicked employers are those in the education sector....those ones have a special hell reserved for them. The nursery, primary, secondary& tertiary institutions. They are joy killers, time wasters, sadistic and cheap labour Marchants with sole intentions to exploit their staffs. I will not forget to mention the factories( all these small&medium scale industries(especially Indian, Lebanese&Chinese companies)that pay per day wages and also their local construction companies& contractors counterparts......these are the headquarters of labour wickedness in Nigeria. The Nigerian government/NLC/CSOs needs to establish a strong labour union body that will cover all this Non-government sectors to protect, defend and fight for their workers irrespective of the field of work. These monsters needs to be check mated. |
TheBTCinvestor:Praise God for your testimony. Glory!! |
Nigercity:My brother, leave those ignorant and arrogant humans. These Ikwerres(confused Bini wannabes) know the truth but they dwell in sponsored falsehood deliberately. It is better not to engage them but to allow them gloat in their self inflicted mischief. Becauses whenever you discuss based on facts with them, they tend to reason in funny dimensions with no bearing but noise. They are very insecure with lots of complex issues, always trying to find their voices when it's Igbos even when it's nonserious friendly matter but loose their voices to other tribes that deals ruthlessly with them. Anyways, all these are because the Igbos treat them like lost brothers with kid gloves. You will never see an Igbo claiming to be Ikwerre but you will always see Ikwerres claiming to be Igbos when it suits them or need the Igbo platform to shine. They claim Igbos when realities of their weakness faces them but when at a little comfort zone they will deny Igbos for a little piece of cheap bread. Always in the act of denial. That is why I don't take them serious as they are 2faced manipulators..... especially when their Elites claim Igbo...check it well, they need something. They will deny anything for a cheap piece of insecure attention. The annoying thing is that they have nothing of special value to offer the Igbos for all their noise .....absolutely nothing. If you(Ikwerres) don't drop Igbo language, culture&names and start some of yours..... Igbos & the rest of informed Nigerians&outsiders will keep draging you guys like small Tiger generator. Nonsense, see how they came in and turned this thread to arguments. N/T; I don't hate them(am not Ikwerephobic) or against/for any tribe, just that I hate deciet. I still have and maintain alot of cool headed and good Ikwerres as close as close pals as some are equite different. |
Tranquill:Stop being an irredeemable fool. Infact continue fooling yourself around that has always been your talent. Enjoy! |
24SEVEN:Stop ranting....you are disturbing the peace of Nairaland. Let you Ikwerres pick your fight with Ijaws your competitors. Leave Igbos and other tribes out of your troubles as they don't have your time. Just so you know, till the world seizes to exist, the Igbos you mention everytime will always be ahead and important players in affairs of Nigeria and beyond. But you see Ijaws, they have your time(Ikwerres) and every willing to deal with you(noisy Ikwerres)....let's not even add the Ogonis&Kalabaris, those ones won't tolerate your disturbances. Note; I have no problem with good Ikwerres except the arrogant/noisy ones like some of those here on nairaland even though the best is to ignore them because most of them rant as they have always been willing tools who try to 'belong' whenever they see others banter Igbos forgetting that there are levels and a minor group must get to that certain level before they can join the big boys(tribes) to engage another major tribe in banters/ranting. Anyways, I wish Rivers peace and development devoid of sectionalism. |
Tranquill:I told you to stop pouring spit everywhere. Igbos don't even rate Ikwerres to give them attention when they rant. Leave them out of your delusions. Ijaws and other minorities in Rivers are your level and have your time so they will cut you guys to size like before. |
jamesversion:No go sleep...stay and vomit lies as usual. As usual you deflect issue bigger than you Ikwerres to the Igbos. In this life&next, you can never measure up to the Igbos. Igbos have always been and will always be certified major tribe in Nigeria and beyond with over 40 million people even without mentioning the Ikwerres (great Bini tribe wannabes) The things Igbos have achieved in Nigeria, Ikwerres can not near or dream of. Political, historically, economicial, socially, educationally, scientifically and culturally...every wise. Igbos abound in sensitive positions and hold critical national and large portfolios of government in every government including the inglorious Past administration of Buhari as well as administrations past pre&post independence. Something Ikwerres can never dream of. Now mention the position in government and non government Igbos haven't tasted and occupied..? Then compare it with Ikwerre(the Bini tribe wannabes but yet confused) What positions have you occupied in Nigeria that Igbos haven't surpassed since..? Which position or post has any major or minor tribe occupied in Nigeria that the Igbos haven't...? Igbos are certifed Big, major and influential tribe in Nigeria and Beyond with records, evidences and results to back it up and ranting from deniers and liars like your type won't and can't change it no matter the schemes you pull. Go and face Ijaws, let them teach you lessons your size. Igbos are not your mates and don't have your time either. When other major tribes dey follow Igbos talk or banter....Ikwere sef wan put mouth? Face the topic at hand between Fubara(Ijaw) and Wike(Ikwerre)....and leave Igbos out of it. |
Tranquill:Stop trying to pour me spit....only a rabbid dog behaves like that. It's not by barking. Ijaws in Rivers will put you Ikwerres were you belong in no distant time in Rivers politics and they will do so with help from other tribes in Rivers to the viewing pleasure of outside tribes& nationalities in Nigeria. |
jamesversion:Before Ikwerres started becoming governors in Rivers or before Rivers state was divided to form Baylesa. You know how the Ijaws dealth with Ikwerres in the old Rivers state that they needed external help to regain control in the new Rivers state. Now you lots have played into the long awaited hands of the Ijaws through Wike. Now relax and watch them roll out agendas for Ikwerres in Rivers. The Ijaws endured your years of arrogance, now it's their time....they will make use of it and will even over do and by then Ikwerres will have no ralling point or help because they burnt all the bridges. These same Igbos that help you every election season due to their population and affinity to brotherhood that you Ikwerres like to antagonize will sit back neutral to watch the show without coming to help like before. Ijaws have long scores to settle with Ikwerres and they surely will. E.g. You think that guy Ditari that posts frequently on Nairaland here bragging how Ijaws are majority and dominates Rivers is joking? |
jamesversion:You think you are cunning? Leave Ogoni alone.....face Ijaws yourselves, don't drag Ogonis or anybody or the so called "uplanders" into your fight with Ijaws. Face them, same way you boost about have Rivers in your control. |
jamesversion:Ain't you tied of this old folk tales of nobody likes Igbos in Rivers while abundant evidences abound that points otherwise. Tell your lies to those who don't know Rivers well, born or haven't visited it. Even with height of Ipob brouhaha in Rivers Obigbo and the rest was a hotbed, Obigbo, Omuma, Etche etc share so much affinity with their brothers in Imo&Abia. It is actually the Igbos who don't need Rivers for anything. What do you have that Igbos don't or can't do offer more or do without or have alternative to? Ikwerres like to feel themselves so much beyond their actual levels and that's one of their biggest undoing(though there are some exceptions that know&stand by the correct truth) All over history you have always needed this same Igbos you antagonize for favours. Pls, leave Igbos out of your issues with Ijaws. Face Ijaws who are waiting to put you to your place. Those one won't be patient or linent like the Igbos. |
jamesversion:What does sounding like Igbo mean? And how does this matter concern the Igbos. The day Igbos will have the time for Ikwerres like you, you will run and wish you never provoked them. A topic about Ikwerres and Ijaws of Rivers state is what decieved minds like yourself try to drag Igbos into but when you see Ijaws and co that torment you, you become speechless. All you do on Nairaland is to revise ancient Igbo ancestorial history in Rivers state with dirty false information. |
Tranquill:Liars. The constant unnecessary arm measuring, challenge and assault you guys do to the Igbos are irritating. That is what others within the Ikwerre clan will continue to reciprocate to you guys amongst the Ikwerre clans. Besides when the Igbos will finally have you guys time, you won't be able to stand it. |
ahaz:Truth 💯%. Some people just like self deceit and those who clap for them, at their private spaces are intrigued by their foolishness. |
Nwaetche:God bless you brother....you spoke truths and may the truth speak for you. That Jamesversion and his likes are chameleons....they with the help of history revisionist like them always like to twist facts to favour their narratives in public forums like this to decive the unsuspecting and the culible. Etche, Ekpeye, Obigbo etc are not Ikwerre people nor anyways linked to them. Some Ikwerre like him rejects being called Igboid while attempt to call others Ikwerreoid..? Isn't that hypocrisy? Etche&Obigbo share common ancestorial linkage to Igbos in Imo&Abia than they with any Ikwerre in Rivers. Besides, why did he drag Igbos into their matter with Ijaws? They come alive whenever it's Igbos but if other tribes like Ijaw, Ibibio, Efiks or even Fulanis come for them....they suddenly become mute. This topic is about Fubara vs Wike.....let them face it. |
Enugurangers:That wasn't what I said but if it is what you understand then that ok. Are Igbos supposed to allow any negativity targeted at them fly just so you can like them or not accuse them of feeling victimized? Do you know how many people& children have been kidnapped from the southeast? Why didn't the King's there look for a region to rope it on. Where does the Emir hide when his brothers go about committing banditry, terrorism, ethnic cleansing and kidnapping on the roads&railways..? Go and sit down pls. |
LegendHero:This post, the poster, the news article and the newspaper oulet was made with offensive malicious and mischievous intent to slander and accuse the Igbos as usual. Rubbish sensational post....I actually blame the Igbo leaders that entertain this nonsense. When it comes to rubbish they will be quick to summon Igbo leaders but when it's something beneficial they will play dumb. The guy LegendHero is a know bigot. Anything to slander Igbos will be welcomed by people like him. Why would an Igbo kidnap a northern to sell in the south? If not that the so called Emir is delusional. Whenever it so stupid assumptions without credible proof.....they will try to slander and malign Igbos and when Igbos retaliate with fire they will be begin to shout foul. This is a new year.....let everyone respect themselves and abstain from bigotry. |
yahoodetector:That movie is one of my best movies. It's a dope movie. |
dre11:It is sad to observe that there a very few intelligent discussants and analysts on Nairaland these days. What is wrong with obtaining degrees from these universities in these countries? That these schools are in neighboring west African countries doesn't make them fake or substandard. That some people were caught with fake certificates from there doesn't condemn the whole system of those countries. Who has condemned the whole Nigerian university system because of LASU fake certificates syndicates last year & others all over the nation or the US university system because of Chicago state university with Tinubu. If hypocrisy was a nation, it would be Nigeria &Nigerians. Let's commend the journalist for doing a good job and request our government to eliminate the loop holes that breeds fake certificates and substandard institution from anywhere home and abroad. Pls leave Ayra starr and other celebrities who have these degrees they are not your problem....not everybody must school in Nigeria or is this because we feel these countries are below us? Scrutinize the quality and authenticity of the certificates, graduates and universities from these countries but don't bad mouth them. There are lots of top quality graduates from these countries doing well in their respective fields in Nigeria and outside Nigeria Mind you, the citizens of these countries attend these same universities and they run their respective nations as well as other citizens from other countries who attend these schools in these African countries as well, with no authenticity problems from their respective countries.....so why is Nigeria's case different? These countries education board accredites their schools respectively as NUC does not have jurisdiction outside Nigeria however only the federal ministry of Education can regulate and asertain the authenticity of these universities and their certificates together with thesw countries education boards. Yes, substandard universities and fake certificates should be kicked against by all but let's do it without victimizing the innocent genuine graduates from these countries. After all there is also a large community of Nigerians on diaspora in these countries with children of university age who were born, bred and educated in these countries, so what will be there fate? If the Nigerian education system was so good as we like to decieve ourselves and had the capacity to accommodate the thousands of students seeking admission, easy to get admissions into, without frequent strikes and corruption or our private universities cheaper, do you think so many Nigerians will be going outside to study? If we must condemn all the universities from these neighboring African countries then let's also condemn universities all over the world like US, UK, France, Ukraine, Russia, China, S.A, Canada, Japan, Brazil etc that Nigerians go to study after all not all these countries are English speaking countries.....and it's not as if the countries above Nigeria even value our certificates or regard our universities and education system so why the noise? We all know how bad that feels when advanced countries belittle our own products and system. All over the world citizens of different countries study outside their own countries even in nations 'lower' than theirs in advancements and it's never a crime. By the time the governments of these African countries reciprocate our behavior towards them then let's not complain of hatred from them. We behave as if we don't have other foreign nationals studing in Nigeria too, what will happen then if their respective government decides to blacklist their certificates from Nigerian schools& our educational system because of our corrupt tendicies and strikes..? It is a pity our government officials even the senior ones like the minister of Education, media and people can be myopic sometimes in reasoning. Nobody seems to be asking the important questions or addressing the issue in a logical way. That you know one or two bad eggs who went to these said schools in these African countries doesn't mean you should condemn all or the entire system....after all are there no bad eggs in our Nigerian educational system? and why should you always be knowing only the bad examples instead of the good ones....does it not say alot about you as a person? That you are struggling to get a job or progress in life or have graduates from these countries doing better than you is not the faults of the many genius graduates from these countries but blame your leaders and seek personal improvements, create opportunities for yourself.....dont use your negative energy to destroy people's genuine investments on themselves or that of their parents......let us behave. I just feel alot of this unverified annomisity towards graduates from these countries are based on sentiments and sometimes sponsored by other stake holders in the Nigerian educational system. Let our government Collaborate with the governments of these countries to eliminate the substandard and fake fake institutions within their respective countries so that the genuine ones will not suffer a "mob action policy" from our government, institutions and employers. I just hate nonsense! |
