By the way, Somalia used to be regarded as a monolithic nation of related clans (much to the chagrin of its Bantu population which continues to suffer from cultural discrimination). Yet you have to ask yourself; when last did that nation experience peace? Somalia case na terrorism from one religion. |

From all indications. Considering the injuries to the team & the ball watching nature of our CB's coupled with the confidence issues of the GK. I'll go with 4-2-3-1. Double pivot of Onyeka & Onyedika. That way ill be sure that I have bodies at the back & MF. My opinion tho. |

Mujtahida: He overloads the attack because he's not a confident coach so him go wan rush you with everything. Because he knows his middle is soft and the longer the game drags, the easier it becomes for the team flaws to show. Our opponents will use Lesotho and Zim playbook. Simple. Defend in numbers and use Route 1 if opportunity comes. |

Curtisaxel10: OGN reports Sadiq Umar is injured. As it stands, only Osimhen is available to play CF tomorrow.
This means the coach can't play 4-4-2. Has to be 4-3-3 with Osimhen as lone striker.
Musa would probably need to come in for Osimhen at the CF position in the second half. Let's hope he still has it in him. Better still 4-2-3-1. Because I know the opponent will copy the same playbook of Lesotho and Zim |

I really doubt if any club will release any player now. Rangers will not release Dessers cos they are chasing the title. Montpelier will not release Akom and neither Ajax. The result against Guinea has not changed my expectations for this team. It is not about blind patriotism. Forget about the recent set-backs, we know what this team is capable of. Before now, SE always show what they are capable of during the qualifying matches. At least one can see the pattern. From westerhorf to Rohr. Even Sia 1 played a possesive game. Keshi always dominate his opponents. Rohr plays counter attack more. What do we know about Peseiro team. Nothing. A team that once the opponent defend in numbers that's the end. And once they concede, it's game over. My bro if ur defence is not tight and ur MF is always over ran. That's a recipe for disaster in waiting. |

Every one of them claiming to have watched players not playing in the top 5 leagues, then you ask yourself, where are the watching these guys? I have DStv both in my home and my office and DStv doesn't shows league matches except it's from EPL, La liga, Serial A, and the choose important matches in other top countries(mostly Eredivisie) to show on ESPN. This season, DStv has never showed Royal Antwerp match, so where are these guys watching players like Ejuke in a 90min matches when it's not the UCL, EUL or the ECL? Funny enough, the league has been on winter break since 23rd Dec. That was the last game day for Royal Antwerp. So my thinking is that he lives in the future. |

Wetin fit make am un-weak?! LOL! Bro nothing. We have been with this same MF all the while. I have seen different combinations of these personnel. I already know that they are not capable of winning any MF battle unless Yusuf and to some extent Onyedika brings something different. Just expect to see ball pinging from defence to the attackers. Truth is I have not seen a match we dominated the MF play and dictated the tempo of the game with them. I miss Mikel & Vic mo. |

charlesemeka85: Rohr should be blamed to a certain extend but if eze wanted to truly rep us he would hv done that even when he was in the championship
in the England u20 team he dished us for he wasn’t even a regular/starter
Also his body language in games makes me believe he won’t be fully committed to the course if he switched to us. Watching him play for Palace sometimes he seems unserious and nonchalant
Olise is a better talent than eze and aside salah he is the best RW in the epl currently
Even Chelsea’s chukwuemeka is better than eze Correct, he is always strolling most times. Olise puts more energy in his game than Eze |

komekn: Nobody talking about Fisayo Dele-Bashiru ,with current player's available he should have been on the list.
Alhassan is not on Fisayo level. A DM was injured and you want him to be replaced with an AM Question you should ask coach is why he picked only 5MF when he can go with 6 or 7. Fisayo will be an option if either Iwobi or Aribo is ruled out. |

Daninya33: If Jpes has listed a 27 man squad with Alhassan Yusuf and Nwakali listed, With the injuries of Ndidi and Iheanancho, Players like Daga,Moffi,Dele Bashiru would have been given a look in.
Frank Onyeka seems set to play alongside Iwobi in midfield.
If Nigeria does well,it will boil down to the brilliance of the players and not Jpes tactical acumen and brilliance. Jpes with his outdated 4-4-2 formation
I don't have any expectation for the SE.
If they do well, fine If they don't,it is expected
NFF is our major problem.
I will rather have Jpes fail to get to the semi finals and then gets fired Than hay him get to the semifinals and then fails to get us to the world cup.
We don't need such a coach coaching the Super Eagles... X ray of the MF shows that Iwobi is the only creative spark. Its either iwobi with onyeka or Iwobi & Onyedika. Then if iwobi is removed from the equation nko. Maybe he will throw Boniface into the position. But it won't be a bad idea playing 4:2:3:1. That way Onyedika/Onyeka& Alhassan @ the base with Iwobi @ the tip just like Keshi did. I think this will give us more solidity all round. My thinking tho. This 442 is a recipe for disaster. |

AndSunGorilla: Ndidi wasn't listed today for Leicester, same for Iheanacho, hope they aren't injured. Also, I think Ndidi needs to be managed because of his injury history. Also Onyeka too is injury prone, I pray we don't run into an issue of having some of our MFs injured during the tournament. For me. We are going to AFCON with 2MF, iwobi & Onyedika. Others & injury are next door neighbours. I don't know why Jpe's wants 5mf when he can go with 7. I just pray we don't live to regret this. I still remember the look on mikels face in 2014 mundial when they stretched Onazi out and he stood hands akimbo watching who was on the sidelines. Victor moses was even played as AM in Keshis 4,2,3,1 formation. |
