JPes need to come out and tell us who cut soap for him. Mourinho?

TBH, I was completely knock off by that Bright's substitution. It was brilliant and unexpected. The icing on the cake would have been Bright grabbing a goal or an assist from the chance he fluffed.

BTW what was JPes sniffing during the PK?

I once rated the CIV team but after watching their first game with EG I had a rethink

If the super eagles play well CIV will be mauled in the presence of their fans

The only decent player i see in their team is Fofana. kessie is past his prime while the Forrest midfield signed from PSV is clumsy and slow

Their attack no get bite at all and I pray they start Aurier as RB against us 🤣

Their CB pair is ok but can be dusted by Osimhen if given enough supply both from the midfield and flanks
I doubt if d coach will pick Aurier

Some Dudes kinda surprised I want Nwakali in the team. Honestly I want him on board, coz last time I saw him in GwG, he played well to deserve another call-up.

He may not be doing fine at the club level, but that doesn't mean he won't play well for the Eagles. Who knows perhaps he is the kinda player we've been craving to have in the Midfled?!

He should be given few more chance to prove himself.
My bro, they always say here that stats are not conclusive. But checking the stats from sofascore shows he is the best in the poor team. I know that it's not his fault that his team is poor but he is showing himself in the poor team even when up against the big fishes. I hope no will say that since Burnley is at the bottom of Prem league that all the players are wack.
I don stir the hornets nest. Let the attack begin.

He lost the ball and they scored
Hehe 🙃
Hope it's not the same match I watched. Cos what I saw was a player tried to dribble him, but couldn't. Rather the ball hit his leg and rolled to Onyeka. It was Onyeka that gave the ball back instead of booting it away first. Please don't blame Iwobi. The game is still in U tube. I have watched the match over and over again. I must say that Frank Onyeka is not a DM. He lacks positional awareness.
2) Anytime EQG attacks our final 3rd. There is always a player positioned @ the periphery of our 18 with no one close to him.
3) That Salvador was there for like 4 ever but no one spotted that he was the danger. First rudiment in defending is make sure that you are almost feeling ur opponent. Sanusi didn't do it. He was just in free space watching the man with ball.
If we repeat this shit against CIV. Fofana will load us. I watched his game play, he is always at the periphery of 18yrd box. If we continue our ball watching at the back, he will hit a lot of shots to our post. Ghana used it against us WCQ. Tunisia used it in AFCON. I will rather deploy Onyeka as B2B instead.

Good morning guys its match day, lets look at 👇🏽
Nigeria record vs host countries since the inception of Afcon
1978 Gha 1-1 Nig (match day 2)
1990 Alg 5-1 Nig(match day 1)
1990 Alg 1-0 Nig (Final)
1992 Sen 1-2 Nig (Match day 1)
2002 Mali 0-1 Nig (Third place play off)
2004 Tun 1-1 Nig (semifinal)
pen 5-3
2008 Gha 2-1 Nig (Quarterfinal)
2023 CIV ? - ? Nig (match day 2 predict)
do you see Nigeria win, lose or draw?
If mother luck shines on SE, they will win. But if not, like EQG, they will cultivate, but will not harvest. We pray for luck today. SE will create chances but how many will they get past the goal line??. And what nature of goal will they concede? I'll leave it here till after the match.

We don't even carry u22 boys to afcon again.

A forward with 3-4goals per Afcon, aged 24 at 1st Afcon and 30 or 32 at final afcon(5th appearance) should be able to chance Eto'o.
Osimhen for don dey like 3 now. See how he lost glorious chances. He had chances of going around the Gk in 1 of the chances sef.

our midfield was immediately stabilized when Joseph Aribo came in. He brought calm and composure which did not allow the otherside penetrate from the midfield like they were doing, and which is also how they scored the first goal. Yes, Yusuf was full of running, but Joseph gave us back the control over the midfield, which also brought out the best in Iwobi.

I think u need to watch it again. The player tried to pass iwobi, the ball hit him, then rolled to Onyeka who instead of booting the ball positioned it again for the opponent to finish his mesmerizing dribbles before dropping it on a plate for the scorer. The thing is as usual everyone was ball watching. Even Yusuf who was closest to the guy didn't read the danger.

The first goal was on iwobi and two defenders who couldn't react fast enough to clear the ball after a d opponents lost it

Like Yusuf like Ayinde.
What if Yusuf is ruled out for the next game. Will Onyedika be deployed as DM and Onyeka moved to B2B?? That will be another option. Am not sold out with Aribo in that position.

Jpes need to go find good luck color wey him go dey wear during matches. The man and good luck dey repel each other. How on earth did Osimhen miss that chance. Who moved the post to that side he kicked the ball. It's not like he made a mistake. He dropped his shoulders to place the ball to that place. No be juju be that?? Zaidu face GK come begin pass. The same with Aina. I just couldn't comprehend what went wrong in that game. Could it be that humidity and heat fried their brains that they weren't cordinated?? I think those players should be interviewed.
