Politics › Re: Take-off Date Of Nigeria Air To Be Announced Soon- Minister by comodo: 2:49pm On Oct 24, 2018 |
MrAJQ: By Emmanuel Elebeke & Maxwell Tochukwu abuja —
Minister of State for Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has said the embargo placed on Nigeria Air, the national carrier, will be lifted as soon as possible.
According to James Daudu, the ministry’s deputy director of media and public affairs, Sirika said this while receiving Fahad Al Taffaq, United Arab Emirates (UAE) ambassador to Nigeria, in Abuja He quoted the minister as saying the new date for take-off of the airline would be announced soon.
“The suspended national carrier would be activated as soon as possible, although the December 24th earlier given for its take-off is no longer feasible,” the statement quoted him to have said.
In September, the minister announced the suspension of the national carrier which was to be launched in December, saying it was a “tough decision” taken by the federal executive council.
Subsequently, Lai Mohammed, minister of information said the national carrier project was suspended due to investor apathy. But Sirika said that was untrue as the “national carrier project has an avalanche of well-grounded and ready investors.”
Critics of the current administration had described the project as an avenue to siphon funds.
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/10/take-off-date-of-nigeria-air-to-be-announced-soon/ Lai Mohammed said its because of investors a party. Sirika said its a lie. They have investors on ground. Which one are we to believe. |

https://lailasnews.com/trending-photos-of-school-uniform-in-anambra-state/ Its no new thing. Most schools in the state wear stuff like this. But its only on Fridays, some wear on Wednesdays & when they have occasions. I think it has to do with culture promotion thing. But that's how I see it. |

BurningBlade: This Reno Omokri like speaking from both side of his mouth, what nonsense!
I bet Reno Omokri missed the part where Peter Obi said the only place he has a home is Onitsha.
I'll keep saying it that the worse mistake nigerians will ever make, is to vote back PDP into ASO ROCK. The Peter Obi I know sold his London house to fund his election campaign. So na only Onitsha own remain. I know he funded his election single handedly. The reason all godfathers were quiet during his tenure. |

forgiveness: You mean an academy player can to fill the position of Mikel Obi and Sone Aluko who were still in form of their lives?
Iwobi never deserved to be called in the first place but today we are reaping the rewards courtesy of FB advocates like us.
Prior to his call, you fought against anything foreign breed, not to talk of an academy player.

Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by comodo: 7:06pm On Oct 10, 2018 |
komekn: Iwobi was not even considered as a major prospect in the England youth set up at at 16 there was talk of dropping himat Arsenal. He was called to the SE when he had not played one game for Arsenal first team, no doubt his Uncle JJay had some influence.
Josh Maja at 17 when Sunderland were in the EPL had already played for the first team. At 18 he had played 17 games in the championship now at 19 he has played 12 games and scored 9 goals that is a phenomenal strike rate for a teenager.
Isaac success in now his third season in the EPL and in his third season scored one goal that is what some cal progress here. KC in his second season in the EPL scored in total 4 goals for Leicester.
Some have said that if KC was in league one he would be scoring for fun, football doesn't work like that. I will ask how many games did KC after his move to Leicester play for the U23 and how many goals did he score So i cant be the top goal scorer in the youth league you think he will automatically be top goal scorer in league one. i very much doubt it.
League one is not as easy as some think ask the EPL clubs beaten by league one clubs I watched Tottenham struggle against Shrewsbury town.
In my opnion Josh Maja is the most in form potent srtriker availbale to the SE right now, however , if that will transfer to international football is another question. But we will never know until he is given opportunity and if we keep wasting time Southgate will not and he will be in Englands u21 while we wait for our so called SPECIAL TALENTS who have done nothing and are still doing nothing.
We have a bright star who is boiling hot and some are debating if he is good enough. |
