Alariwo2:
They will still come here to deny and possibly call Reno afonja.. when it's on record the first coup was an igbo agenda to dominate Nigeria and form parallel government

They are responsible for the problem we are facing as a nation today.
exactly,

They never show any remorse instead they continue to disgrace the country outside ( drug peddlers )
PoliticsRe: The Nationalist Dressed In The Garb Of A Tribalist, By Reno Omokri by comos: 2:44pm On May 18, 2017
Aguyi Ironsi, nzeogwu, Ifeajuna and other igbo officers in the army then, cause the problem Nigeria is facing today.

1. Nzeogwu, ifeajuna & co igbo coup plotters killed political leaders from other region but told Nnamdi Azekiwe, Micheal Okpara & other politicians of Igbo origin to escape

2. Aguyi Ironsi took over but refused to bring the coup plotters to justice instead kept them in ikoyi prison, feeding them and started begging other regions to forget about the past.

3. Aguyi Ironsi cancelled the regional system and introduced the unitary system (the beginning of Nigeria problem ) .

4. The whole of Nigeria was developing very fast under regional system but Aguyi Ironsi desytoyed the system and refused to hand over power to a civilian ( probably chief judge) to conduct another election.

5. there was no remorse from the igbos instead they waxing records and celebrating the killings by their brothers in the army.

6. in conclusion , the Igbos should tender a general apology to the whole of Nigeria, for bring us to this mess we are in today

PoliticsBoko Haram Fighters Returning To Sambisa Forest, Says Report by comos(op): 8:58am On May 17, 2017
Members of a faction of Boko Haram are regrouping, re-arming and returning to the Sambisa Forest area, a report by the United Nations High
Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) has warned.

The commission has also expressed worry about the increase in the number of children used as suicide bombers from nine in 2016 to 27 in the first quarter of the year.

The regrouping and returning of insurgents to the Sambisa forest may rubbish the successes recorded so far by the Federal Government in the anti-terrorism fight and worsen the security situation in the affected parts of the country.

Politics‘NNPC, CBN, 36 Others Fail To Submit Budget Proposals’ For 2017 by comos(op): 8:48am On May 17, 2017
Thirty-eight statutory agencies of the Federal Government are yet to submit their budget proposals for the 2017 fiscal year. These agencies, which

include the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE), have

continued to make huge extra-budgetary expenditure in breach of the Fiscal Responsibility (FRA) Act 2007. This was disclosed by the Senate

yesterday during a legislative session.

Section 21 of the law makes it mandatory for all departments and agencies of the government to submit their expenditure plans to the National

Assembly for approval.

The worry of the Senate is that with five months already into the financial year in question, the lack of submission and defence of budget
proposals may lead to corruption in the agencies.

The agencies were supposed to have submitted their estimates to the finance minister who would attach the same to the national budget for

presentation by the President to the National Assembly.

BusinessRe: High Food Prices Contradict Latest Declining Inflation Rate by comos(op): 8:43am On May 17, 2017
Already, local producers of consumer goods are struggling to maintain a balance in the management of input costs and price consumers are

willing to pay for products, even as many continue to increase their inventories for the fear of further instability in the foreign exchange

management policy as well as intensify their backward integration agenda.
BusinessRe: High Food Prices Contradict Latest Declining Inflation Rate by comos(op): 8:41am On May 17, 2017
Although, the CBN stated that the composite Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) for the non-manufacturing sector is at the edge of growth after 16

months of decline, activities at the retail end reveal a contradiction to the claims by the bank, even as operators believe the impact of the apex

bank’s interventions may not be felt until the second half of the year when old stocks may have been sold.
BusinessHigh Food Prices Contradict Latest Declining Inflation Rate by comos(op): 8:34am On May 17, 2017
While latest indicators have shown that the nation’s inflation rate is easing, there are divided sentiments on the reality of the claims as food and other household items remain steadily high, despite various interventions by the government.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the latest inflation rate, for the third consecutive month marginally declined by 0.02 per cent to 17.24 per cent, from the 17.26 per cent recorded earlier in March.

Stakeholders in the real sector had noted that food and other commodity prices would remain high till the second half of 2016 if the Central Bank of Nigeria sustains its intervention in the real sector.

Though the planting season is still in play, there are fears that the Ramadan fast may also spike food prices even as operators seek consistency in government’s intervention through fiscal and monetary policies.

Two Biafrans accused of selling hard drugs to students in South Africa were thoroughly beaten by a mob. According to Ugo Ugbaje, a South Africa-based Nigerian, the incident occurred at Kuruman Northern Cape area of the country last Friday.

Oageng Mol Louw, a South African, said the attackers were protecting their children’s future, adding “there is no racism in this matter. Protecting our kids and their future is important. “You guys know how dangerous those stuffs are, yet you’re selling them to school kids. Now that’s heartless.” The attack comes two days after two Nigerians were shot dead in the Western Cape province of South Africa.

Mike Ibitoye, Chairman of the Nigeria Union in South Africa, identified the victims as Ernest Ughakwesili, 42, and Chimezie Oranusi, 26, both from Anambra State.

BusinessDespite Huge External Reserve, Prices Of Goods Remain High by comos(op): 12:56pm On May 05, 2017
Althogh there are no less than 22 Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)-initiated interventions for the foreign exchange market which amounted to $4.44 billion or N1.35 trillion (at N305.85/$), concerns persist about the high prices of goods and household items.

Consumers and industry observers, however, differed on the development, noting that the situation may be attributable to local manufacturers and retailers attempting to cash in on their losses when the naira fell to about N525 to the dollar in the first quarter of the year. The local producers, on their part, blamed the high cost of production for the spiralling price regime.

The situation calls for concern as disposable incomes continue to be insufficient to meet daily demands, despite assurances by government of the easing recession and continued defence of the national currency by the apex bank.

Already, local producers of consumer goods are struggling to maintain a balance in the management of costs and prices which consumers are willing to pay for products. Manufacturers have continued to increase their inventories for fear of volatility in the forex management as well as intensify their backward integration agenda.
