yinchar: Abba wait Oo, am i dreaming what has IGBO got to do with LAGOS Governorship?........having one igbo commissioner is not enough, you guys are now clamouring for DEPUTY GOVERNOR, wonder shall never end....The poster might not necessarily be an Igbo guy, but i gaze this poster understands his suggestion as a great political strategy for the PDP, considering the large population of the Igbo in Lagos. It may or may not work, cos as an IGBO man, i know that many of our people in Lagos seem to detest PDP.....so the dream to capture Lagos might remain a Day Dream! |
dayokanu: We all know the antics of Retardeen Jonathan in Ekiti and Bayelsa stateWear your thinking cap and talk like a human being. What happened in Ekiti state? In Bayelsa what happened, except that a poorly performed Sylva was rejected by his party,. Did any other party mount an opposition in the election? Retardeen Jonathan.....is that the only grammer you know! |
ypzilanti: Open your mouth and eat the humble pie.You got it wrong my brother, in any part of the world, a leader of a polical part is duty bound to support and campaign for his party's candididate, any thing short of that amounts to Anti-Party, so Jonathan was not the first person, and woun't be the last to do it. The most important thing is that he didn't use the instrumentality of government to rig the election in favour of his party, rather he kept to his earlier promise. Jonathan has his short comings as a leader, but i think he is Tolerant and Decent to an acceptable extent, i commend him for the Edo Example! |
Untill the Nigerian nation learns how to punish Some Nigerian animals called human beings, lawlessnes will continue to reign supreme. The stupid pilot didn't act alone, but in conjunction with the careless, the lawless and the incompetent staff at the Controle Tower who allowed the said aircraft to still take off despite the danger signal. Am just tired of hearing silly things about this country.....may be lawless runs in the blood of we Nigerians. God please take away this madness! |
shymmex: Nigeria is the one acting like America's satellite state...nationalize what? Easier said than done! |
shymmex: USA is the coward - it's always looking for proxies to fight its wars...Which war has US lost on it's soil..........Russia is a defeated and disgruntled giant! |
shymmex: We're lucky Russia isn't an imperialist country...This is the most riddiculous and meaningless post! |
1025: @omaniman, |
mikolo80: NO MIND DEM.WHETHER THE CORPERS DE RIG SEF WE NO KNO BUT BECAUSE NA ILLITERATE DEM ABOKI BE NOBODY WAN HEAR DIA OWN SIDE OF D STORY.WHY PESIN GO SUFFER GO SCHOOL COME GO DE RIG ELECTION IN ANOTHER MAN'S TERRITORY ESPECIALLY ONE WHERE THEY DEAL WITH INFRACTIONS SUMMARILYA friend of mine was one of the murdered corpers, and two days before his death, he had complaided that CPC supporters were threatening and forcing them to give them ballot papers to thumb print, but you are here justifying and celebrating the death of those corpers.......may God forgive you! |
1025: @omaniman,Before he blamed Bakare, he mentioned an incident which was supposed to attract Bakare's reaction if he were a true man of God. Pls answer that question. That innocent corpers including my friend Obinna Okpokiri were slaughtered by Buhari/Bakare supporters, till date Bakare didn't condenme the attrocities, yet he's now an apostle of good governance because he mounts the podium to attack Jonathan....what a wicked nation. Please wake up to reality, and fall not to the deceit of a dishonest and desperate politician parading him self as a man of God! |

ACM10: I dey cover my face for u. #IFeelEmbarrassed#Hahaha...this guy is a disgrace to civilization! |
antsut: Obama is Illuminatus and many ppl are so blind to see it even in the present of overwhelming evidence. The greatest con the Devil will ever pull is to make you believe he doesn't exist! You need deliverance for believing in de Devil, Enlightenement for being timid, and maturity for being Kindergatten! |
PetroDolla: you mean those okotoko igbo money ritualists? We all know how those igbo people make their money so don't come here talking as if you are talking to ignorant peopleIt's only a bufoon like you that will believe taht your country is better than Nigeria in any way. Move through Ghana, and you will wonder what the noise is all about. Thank God your Ghanian government isn't accusing those Igbo traders of indulging in rituals, rather genuine businesses of buying and selling through which they have conquered your country. You guys are angry because many Ghanians have literarily become errand boys and slaves to those creative minded Igbo people, while your golotonous girls of easy virtue are always prostrating to have them as boy friends. Nomatter the pretence, deceit, and braggadacio, just a visit to your universities will prove to you that we are far ahead of you in all ramifications. |
akpu nku: u be amu rubberSoludo is that Financial Wizard who rewrote the chequered history of the Nigerian banking sector, and tought Nigerians what they didn't know. He is also that intellectual who challenged Sanusi to a public debate on the economy, as regards the achievements of the two! |
sadi78: Dangote is not a wicked man! He just dominated the market due to ur slumber! You know you igbos are not hard working, you are masters in piracy and drug pushing!Hahahaha.....u sounded like some one coming from the zoo. How many importers do u people have, how many manufacturers do u have, how many scholars do u have, how many big hotels in Abuja belong to non Igbo people, how many estates in Abuja belong to non igbo, how many Bank MD's do u people have, how many graduates and undergraduates do u produce. ....Note. Ur political power gotten tru illiterate military charlatants is gone, and gone for ever, so ur profession now is Terrorism..and u'll guys will die as bloody terrorists! |
In the exercise of its oversight functions the House of Representatives or the Senate is empowered by sections 88 and 89 of the Constitution to summon “any person, authority, ministry or government department charged with the authority for executing laws and …disbursing or administering money appropriated or to be appropriated by the National Assembly”. I agree with Delafruita that the word “any person” or “authority” includes the President. You stated that since no means of enforcement exists, such a summon amounts to an empty threat, null, void and of no use. I completely disagree with this postulation. The President stands the risk of impeachment if summons are ignored depending on the gavity of the "crime" being investigated. No doubt, the President is vested with enormous powers by the Constitution. But he is not an absolute ruler. Do not forget that President Obasanjo appeared twice to answer the summons issued on him by the Oputa Panel on human rights violations. That the President cannot be summoned is not an issue, but a moot point, in my mind. As I stated earlier, GEJ can argue that this particular summon is invalid because of section 88 and he may win this particular case.
Besides, that section 88 dwells more on the Power of the National Assembly to conduct investigations, but here they summoned the president for the purpose of security briefing which i consider ridiculous, as we have the I.G, the Chief of Army Staff, the Defence Minister, the NSA, and the Director of SSS! |
why surmon the president to a meeting when u can talk to him in aso rock or talk to his secretaries(miltaries).. Here in the usa, the committes meets with defence secretaries and all involved on a weekly bases....
Most of the critics and abusers of the president either lack indept knowdge on how a government functions, or they are the same sectional jingoists who have chosen the vilification of the President as their pass time. The summon shows how the legislators prefer playing to the gallary, rather than show seriousness in their legislative functions! |
cyril83: I have said this times withou numba, this inhuman, drunk GEJ is nothing but a useless tyrant, the simple meaning of his action is that nobody on earth can question his authority or movement, what a shame nigeria is still under military ruleIf Jonathan were a tyrant, you would not be free constituting this nuissance here. Jonathan has shown more tolerance than any former Nigerian prsident. An attention seeking Dishonorable member announced to u that Jonathan wants to sue them, that's why u are calling the president names. Is that Reps member Jonathan's spokesman? Even if Jonathan sues, for the purpose of establishing the legitimacy of the House summons, is it not his constittutional right to do so? Is court of law a military tribunal? Why would they even summon Jonathan on security issues.....don't we have the appriopriate security chiefs that need to be summoned for such briefing? Don't we have I.G of police, Chief of Army staff, Director SSS, Minister for defence? So shameful most of u lack basic knowledge of governace, and therefore chose to abuse the president recklessly! |
gboss4sure: If the FG dares negotiate with boko haram to this extent then they should get ready to negotiate with me too. Fools at the topWhat if negotiation will afford the government the strategy to defeat these animals? |
Haha that's the mistake we are about to make . Negotiating with the terrorists wouldn't stop Nigeria from becoming an Sharia republic , it would only set us on the PATH to becoming one because once we negotiate with the terrorists we would have played the cards they've been waiting for by acknowledging their strength and presence , you have made them feel relevant . The Terrorists would make ridiculous demands THEY KNOW the government wouldn't accept and when the dialogue breaks down the terrorists would have found an excuse to increase their bombing campaign . Mali's government made the same mistake by double speaking : On one end they promised to squash the Islamists , on the other end they promised to negotiate with them and now look at the mess in Mali.
Yes, it's not too appriopriate to negotiate with terrorists, but it depends on the situation. For now, i think the government needs to establish this contact with the animals, so even if the negotiation collapses, atleast the govt must have been equipped with some vital information about them. The terrorists are going to lose this battle, it's just a matter of time! |
deb: Same good news when Fabregas and Nasri left, yet Arsenal still finished ahead off you in the same leagueMind you...finishing ahead of some one is not a trophy..........oh Arsenal! |
Very soon, Arsenal may become a club without Legends......just when their quality players approach the legendary status, another club will emerge from somewhere and hijack them, making Arsenal look like an alternate football academy for other clubs. Pitiable situation! |
kebsongeee: LET HIM GO TO HELLSorry guy, i understand u are a heartbroken Gunner........but that's one of the consequences of trophylessness! |
. All d sem. d infidels also sofa d reprisal attack. And oh u South South our slaves. If we leave U to go, who will do our services 4 us. YOU 4ever slaves of d North.
I'm not from South South, but u're certainly a confused coward. If de South South are ur slaves, why are u angry and throwing bombs around, pls wake up from ur nightmare cos u guys have become de slaves....and will remain so untill God decides what he wants to do with Nigeria. |

I don't mean to sound so sure or mischievous, but from what i read about Nine years ago, Okotie is impotent, so it's ridiculous to allign Stephanie with barreness! |
makky: Yeah yeah, crucify Chris, maim him, kill him or hang him by the balls, not my biz cos am not a fan of so called pastors but what of the woman in question? Have anyone here being able to see beyond a pretty face? A woman as pretty as this wasn't able to keep her first marriage, second & now the third? Ohh come on!! Theres more to this than it meets the eyes. The pastor already has issues but i can bet the woman has even greater issues. I am a lady but i have always adviced men to look beyond what they see outside and look inwards, its almost impossible to see a woman from the riverine areas free from spiritual manipulations. She has bn his bestfriend all these yrs as the post claims but became unbearable to live with in just 4 years? Am guessing Chris also saw what the 2 previous men saw and it definitely wasn't her beauty but something worse. Marriage aint by force please, i suggest they both remain single for a while esp her cos she has been passed around the school of marriage enough!Babe you are not copletely right. She lost her first husband, and was remarried by her late husband's close friend. Unfortunately they started having problems and went to Okotie for mediation, but all Okotie could tell her husband in question was that their marriage had collapsed even when the man desperately wanted to remain with Stephanie, only for Okotie to turn back and marry the lady. So this is the first time she would be asked to park out. |
Maybe she's barren.
she had been married before and had children. Sorry, but without sounding disrespectful, it's Okotie that i heard is Impotent....i don't know how true the claim is! |
salaksmana: Yes he concerns him, somebody claimed he gave the other a bribe and the other agreed he collected it and they are both outside there still speaking and boasting yet you asked if it concerns GEJ, you said we should leave security operatives to do there job, don't you people always shout about GEJ is the C in C so who should we accuse whenever they are found wanting. Indeed A journey without shoesMy dear, it's either you are a comedian or an ignoramus. Jonathan being the C. In. C doesn't mean he should usurp the powers of other arms of government. He cannot be the president as well as EFCC and the court who are charged with the responsibilities of Arraigning and Trying Otedola and Lawan, common sense should teach you this. Grow up and stop being petty! |
Nigeria is a difficult place for song writers. Unlike in Europe and America where song writers are given due recognition, Nigeria doesn't give at all. Also our music artists(Singers) are not helping matters at all. They want to be jack of All Trade, that's why most of them hardly follow their Depute songs with other quality songs. They want to enjoy all the royalties alone, forgetting that distributipn of labour in American music industry is responsible for the great feet American artists have achieved. Well, i'm blessed with the gift of the Garbs, and can write quality Hip-Hop and R and B songs, any interested artist may contact me via: Comradeferdy@yahoo.com |
london2lasgidi: The award isn't based on academic prowess....... just a bunch of politically correct rubbish...... congrats the girl but stop posting rubbish. The post is rubish, yet you congratulated, what a contradiction. It's a pity, but you are a disgrace to humanity! |
