Good morning fam,

My baby is 8weeks old and i stopped bleeding at 5weeks and some days, a week after that i bled again for 5 days( it came like my period, same pattern) now on the 8th week i have started seeing little blood again. Is something wrong? The bleeding will stop for like a week plus and resume again. I dont know what this could mean.

I don't know Sha, but sometimes stress can cause it. Taking care of a newborn is not easy.

last week I took my 3month old baby to the hospital because he was stooling. the Dr prescribed flagyl for babies and zinc tablets. I started to administer the drugs and after two days the stool stopped. The problem now is that day before yesterday I ate vegetable soup and since then my baby and I have been stooling. I starting giving him flagyl, ors and zinc tablets, and yesterday I started using flagyl.
He is still passing out little qty of stool after each sucks the breast. my stomach set dey do wan kain,

put water on fire
Mix wheat/semo with cold water ( paste like but should not be thick).
Pour the boiling water into the paste stuff and put on fire. Stir to avoid lumps.
Allow to boil very well.
Make it watery just like normal baby pap.

Put a little quantity into a bowl for your baby.
Little quantity of water into a cup and add ur baby's milk.
Mix with the semo/wheat.
Ready for baby's consumption.

Good for adult too, just add sugar.

I'm sorry about your sister's situation. Usually the risk of fibroid is increased in a uterus that has not carried a pregnancy.
In her case of recurrent complicated fibroid, there is that danger of an inoperable fibroid that could lead to her uterus becoming too damaged to carry a pregnancy hence necessitating taking it out. And the multiple scars on her uterus also makes her eventual pregnancy a high risk pregnancy that should be monitored carefully. On a brighter side, there is surrogacy, but that is not something every regular person can afford.

My dear, I'll have to say this, "removing her uterus does not make her less a woman". Your family must support her and encourage her to go through that route.
The truth is that if the bleeding is exclusively from a fibroid, then it is quite unlikely that the bleeding will stop that easily and there is also the possibility that when she eventually go for the removal of the fibroid the bleeding will be too uncontrollable in the theatre that only removing the uterus urgently can save her life.

Pls, tell me more. My elder sister is going for surgery this week cos of same issue and she has not given birth before. She has done it once but still reoccur cos part of it was inside her uterus. It has now grown back. She has been booked for another one now.

My little suggestion. Fibroid are like tumor that grows, surgery will temporary cut it off, but will still grow back. I have read it somewhere or overheard it that, if only your mum takes alcohol or can manage to take, get any very sharp brand of Aromatic Original Schnapps, look for local hot Alligator Peppers, make sure is local, not agric breed Alligator pepper, remove the seeds, grind it, so as the seeds to open, the more the seeds, the better and faster it will be, then, soak it inside the Schnapps for like complete 2 days, first thing every morning, to be drinking on empty stomach as much as she can, she should not drink water or any other things like 1hr after drinking the mixture, she should continue for like a month or 2 months as the case may be. My mom once had such experience she tried everything and everywhere she was told to go nothing worked. She did scan and was told it was fibroid We even suggested she go for Operation but she refused. Thank God she refused after sometime the bleeding stopped till date nothing like that.

I don't think so, she has not seen her period for like 6yrs now, all of a sudden she's bleeding non stop.

I know of someone that had similar issue. They have to remove her womb for permanent solution.

My sister, i can't say this is what I did o. But I didn't relent in forcing her. And I also bought multivitamins for her. Now, na she dey open mouth before spoon reach self.

Also, I downloaded some kids rhymes on my phone and she is so use to them, so when it's feeding time, I will set my phone and she will be watching. Before you know it, we are through with eating.

Any day we are eating semo, I will fetch her own and add milk. Same with wheat. (That first stage of preparation like pap).

I think it's a special vaccine, you have to request for it. It's a vaccine for a virus that cause diarrhea in children. You have to pay for it unlike the common free ones.

I don't think there is any health implication, my son didn't take it. I got to know about it on this thread when he has already passed the age range. He is almost 4 yes and he's doing fine.

We couldn't get for my nephew too cos it wasn't available. She's fine too.

My daughter took it and still purge for over a month. So, I can say it is necessary but not compulsory.
