In parts of the world where a premium is placed on male children (India, China and other Asian nations), female foeticide is pretty common.

China's one child policy caused a surge in the practice and has led to a disparity in the male female ratio. There are about 40m men who would not have partners in China because they kept on aborting female children. I think there are plans to outlaw the practice in some of those places though.

And what happens if complications arise in the process?

Hello mums....pls help.. I melted Shea butter (i read it here) and applied on my DD and also on her head cuz of the dandruff Iike stuff on her head..
I did it for 2days nd to my surprise I started seeing rashes on my baby's body.. her both legs looks so dried like something that got burnt..I want to know if it was as a result of d melted shea butter. ..Or its normal skin rash?.. 've gone back to using normal Shea butter, The rashes are clearing but the legs are just stubborn.

try cacatin cream or baby tribotan.

@d bolded describe the rashes that always appear on my son's and daughter's back. My solution is to always apply Ori (jimpo or opeoluwa) and agnesia powder. With time it will dry up and peel out. That's stuff is stubborn because as it's peeling, another one will spring up after like a week. And will eventually fade out finally.

So don't fret.

Going by the topic of your thread, you said you need job to keep your family and he brought an option of Keke napep. I don't think it's a sin to have said that.

There is dignity in labour, as long as it's not stealing. Everyone out there doing non-befitting job all have ambition, some are doing it to source for capital rather than depending on people for startup capital. Madam, Go out there and look for menial job to feed your children, every one is struggling too to make it. There are many jobs you can do to feed your children. Washing of clothes, cleaning of houses, cook etc. Only laziness can be making someone to be begging online for the past 2 years, whatever story u have does not justify you. If the suffering is too much, Go back to your parents and I believe you have siblings too.

We all have our down days, shall we continue to beg for help? Even if 50k is given to you now, it doesn't solve your problem, you are the only one that can solve your problem with the help of God.

Go out there and look for what to do in order to feed your children.

U can use saline nasal spray to moisten the nasal passages....
Then infant nasal bulb or aspirator to remove the mucus....
I just really don't know how available are this stuffs in nigeria.....

I have the nasal bulb but the truth is, you have to be careful when using it cos the baby won't even stay i.e. shaking his or her head. At the end, I result to sucking with mouth, very easy.

The nasal bulb is available in Nigeria, those that sell mother care.

My husband is an expert, he is still doing it for our 3 years old son whenever he is not comfortable.

Honestly, they are just giving unnecessary brain turture. There is a lady in the plaza where I work, my daughter senior her son by 1 week. My baby is bigger than the boy as in very obvious. But as tiny as the boy is, his legs dey strong pass my daughter own self. Very agile baby boy.

My son will be 4 months old on Saturday. He's very agile, already sitting down, feeds well and play well. He's exclusively breastfed and I pump after feeding and give to him. He's gaining weight but not fat. someone told me, he probably has nta so I need to know about this nta and how to diagnose it.

Good morning mamas and grandma. I've been a peeping Tom on this thread but I've decided to repent.

I need help please. My almost 5 month old has been stooling about 4 times a day for about 5 days now. I started giving her flagyl, zinc and probiotic as recommended by a matron. She eats well and is very active except when the poo comes. She takes brown pap as she has stopped breast feeding since 3 months (I wasn't lactating well and she stopped sucking altogether)and just formulae is no longer enough for her(She used to take 180ml every 2 hrs till I introduced the pap.). Please is there anything else I can do? She's on day 3 of the 5 day treatment nd still pops 4 times. Help please.

My daughter just passed this phase, even my little niece. Ours was like a month. When I was tired of giving drugs. I let her be but I make sure I breastfeed her from time to time.

Then, I give ors to her too.

We are back to our once in a while poo.

That phase is scary. The only joy was that she eats well.

Upon say we took rota vaccine.

So don't fret, but make sure she eats well so she won't be restless. And include ors so she won't be dehydrated.

If you replace with anything else you’d keep waking up for the next .......

Once the child sees that water is the only reward for getting up to “comfort eat” he/she will promptly adjust to sleeping through the night!
