Pls mothers come to my aid o, my girl of 3mths plus has been pooing like abt 10 days ago. she poos almost 5 times or more per day, and it's like melon. I am doing xclusively for her. d poo started just a day after she started staying creche. i pump breastmilk for her which i do put inside fridge, wen goin to creche i pack her food with ice blocks to mk it cold. have told the caregiver nt give her left over food and also to ensure she rinses her feeder with hot water before d next feed. i sterilize all her feeder myself. I dont really know could have been the cause of this cos she did nt go to creche since thursday since am at home and the story is still the same.

I have giving her half zinc tablet per day since 3 days ago. Pls help me evaluate this.... what is making her poo like dis cos most time d poo comes after i breastfeed her atimes. i have not been eaten anything that could cause her to be pooing. Pls what do i do?

u r to be given her zinc of 10mg each day for ten days and ors water if she doesn't take it do salt and sugar solution read d procedure from ur immunization card. also try and take her to d hospital. meanwhile take fast action next time 10 days is too much and u just started d zinc therapy 3 days ago, my dear u deserve e-slap for that. The lord will renew her system in no time. kisses to her.

ORS is administered to replace lost electrolyte.If your baby is stooling a lot, you might want to keep trying.You can ask your paediatrician if salt and water solution would do the same work.

sugar and salt solution not salt and water alone. meanwhile ors and this solution do same work, try and Google it and also confirm from ur immunization card, how to treat diarrhea is written there.

Thanks mamas for ur response. I have started administering the zinc tab n ors. Please he doesn't want to drink the ors, once he tastes it , he will just remove his mouth. Can I just give him only the zinc tab without the ors?

same with my baby o he is refusing ors too. I grounded d zinc and put it inside spoon with water gave him like normal drug followed by breast milk. I also did sugar and salt solution by my self and he is taking that one very well. check ur immunization card on how to prepare d sugar and salt solution.

I was qiven quinne @ 1st trimester by a doctor at antenatal visit and it was safe. I now have a 7 months old baby (hale and hearty). Quinne is safe @ 1st trimester. read more on it on Google, get well soon.

10mg for a child less than 1yr, 20mg for more than 1yr. Dissolve in little water and give.One dly for 10days.

check ur immunization card, its 10mg for less than 6 months and 20mg for 6 months and above.

@favouregal, what am saying is that as they are pressing and massaging the tummy it will heal from outside to inside. the navel use to pain them that's why they are crying cos the navel is attached with d intestine, so d place has to be massaged for quick relief. I also have a five months old baby and I know what am talking about. while I asked if d cord has fallen is to avoid infection cos it can be pressed while its still there. our parents did most of d things we are avoiding for us and we r doing fine.

From 0-3 month, it will heal d umbilical cord very well but not when d cord has not fallen o. It won't do ur baby any harm. At least our mothers did same thing for or and we r doing fine. Talking from experience.

my 5 months old baby has it also, I applied Whitfield ointment, and it healed it. I heard is the hot weather that caused it cos I saw another person baby with it and she used only sheabutter

its normal if solely on breastfeeding. but hope he has poo since birth cos he/she has to pass out meconium from d system. it can take 8, 10 or 15 days to fall off but make sure u always clean it as directed from d hospital to avoid infection. Congrats on ur newborn.

It is very wrong to bathe 2 weeks old baby 3 times a week especially with cold water. It can cause pneumonia. Wait at least 3 months and use lukewarm water both afternoon and evening. Those food r too heavy for d baby at that stage.

Always have PCM or Ibuprofen at home in case of emergencies.
And use a wet rag to swipe the body all thru, remove all clothes except when the baby is shivering.
And this goes to all of us, please have the phone contact of a medical personel be it a nurse, doctor or pharmacists for when we cant quickly get to the hospital, they will tell us which first aid to use and reassure us so we dont die of hbp before we get to the hospital.

Thanks my sister, I gave him pcm yesterday o when I discovered his temperature was somehow. I have first aid box for him since birth, but just dat devil is a liar. We gave him panda cold this morning and I added silver bird into his bathing water, he was relieved cos d mucus started flowing out. Dr has prescribed medication for him. may God keep them for us. he can now suck self.

Pls pray for my baby o my wonderful mamas, he is having serious cataarh and running temperature, we all had sleepless nite till this morning. He is 4 months 2 weeks. Am really down seeing him uncomfortable. His name is Eldaah Olamide.

My lo is havin wot is called nlacha in ibo(dnt no d english name) bt d smptoms are
1. It coses d afected part of d skin 2 b fairer than d others. Usualy on d head, neck, anus and d private part.
2. On d hair, it coses d hair 2 peel off, there by leadin 2 bald hair if nt treated.
Pls mothers dat xperienced this should help me out wit a solution. I ve used shea butter but its not helpin out. Pls oo

I will advice u seek medical attention or try sebamed. Sebamed users should explain better. But pls take d baby to d hospital since u said her hair is peeling off.

My baby experienced everything u listed here and he has outgrown them. I read it on Internet that newborn don't know how to push their poo that is d reason for d different drama they perform. about d stomach noise, I was told that it is their intestine that is expanding. am still battling with my two wrist, the pain no be moinmoin. pls buy lofnac gel and apply it. if u can bandage, u use it over night. with time it will go.

Google about it to know more. talking from personal experience.

squeeze guava leaf and take d water or u can boil it. It works like magic. kindly report back after ur healing.

Yes quinine is very safe for first trimester. I took it when I was 7 weeks. though d Dr told me to stop taking it if am reacting to it. nothing will happen to or baby, my baby is two months now sucking and bouncing. u can Google it too. but it is safe sha.

pls o, do u want to kill d baby? don't try it a beg. sleep with ur side and use pillow to support ur back. then put pillow in between ur legs. I was like u but I thought about d safety of d baby first. God bless u as u endure for DAT baby to b comfortable.

Same wit my daughter.she sleeps longer on her tummy n i lay her more on her tummy. I discovered it helped her cos she was able ti lift her head quick n now she is 11wks n always try to move lik trying ti stand on her hand n attempting to crawl.

babies sleep longer when laid on their tummy, it relieve them of their corlic pain also when u back them or lay them on the lap or chest. so no cause for alarm. same thing with my DS.

Yes, it expose them to infection. buy glycerin borax by moko. its also good for gum washing. apply don't scrub pls.

buy glycerin borax, apply it on d tongue with cotton bud, like every 3 days, gradually it will go. pls don't use alum as most people do cos d child will lick and its very bad for the intestine. my baby is just 7 weeks and glycerin is what I use for him cos that whitish substance on d tongue can expose them to infection.

D nurse DAT did for my son recommended penicillin and it worked like magic. d ring fell off within 4 days and healed speedily. my LO is 5 weeks now.

Join me in praising God, He blessed me with a bouncing baby boy at 12:45am this morning. May God keep our LOs for us.

. always raise ur leg on the pillow when u re sleeping, or in when u r in sitting position. u can also ask someone to massage it for u.
