yes dear, u can. go to a pharmacy and ask fr baby GREENLIN cough linctus. it is specially made for children from 3 months to like 5years. it causes no drowsiness and has blackcurrant flavor. very mild, no piriton inside. works for my 7 months old baby. other mamas can get it too.

my dear eat moin moon o, ur baby needs it. food don't go directly to d breast it break down before transmitting d nutrients as BM.

Same thing happened to me but I don't joke with my food and I do the house chores when I can, I cannot come and kpai. pls eat well cos ur baby and ur body need it. The Lord is ur strength.

The time has come in this country when some pastors are to be made a scape goat for abusing the office of the supreme being in the name of calling.

I ate it while I was pregnant, grounded it with egunsi/melon and locust beans, so sweet to eat pounded yam. my baby is 7 months now hale and hearty. folic acid prevent deformation in babies.

meanwhile, deformation can only occur during d first trimester that's why folic is used as routine drug in pregnancy.

Depends on the age of the Child and the time of the day you know! Besides in this current heat dispensation there's no cold water anywhere lol. I'm sure a few bowls of water straight from the tap wont hurt any child of over 7months. The water will likely be tepid/lukewarm and not fridge cold anyway....

u know how people reason cos u said cold water some can burst 2 sachets of cold pure water to mix, that's why I quickly corrected dat. just to be on a safer side!!! pls am not referring to d OP o, just a general term.

pls I have some questions. I was confirmed pregnant on monday and the doctor prescribed folic acid, ferrous sulphate, vitamin C & a multivitamin (it's dark brown in color). My next appointment is on the 2nd of May. He also asked me to stop the pregnacare conception I was using b4 I took in. However he didn't ask me to switch to pregnacare original (for pregnant women) and I'm a bit concerned, so I thought to ask if it's not compulsory to take pregnacare cos a lot of people recommend it.

Also, before now I normally sleep on my stomach and I am finding it difficult to change sleeping positions. Any clues to how I could get used to sleeping on my side?? My mum is freaking out about it so much.....lol.

Congrats dear!!! Pls pregnacare is not a must while u r pregnant, the Dr's prescription is what u need and make sure u eat balance diet and enough fruits also take water from time to time. Pregnacare is just a supplement of what u r not getting like normal iron, bits and so on. The reason for folic acid is to avoid deformities in babies and ferrous is for blood supply. If u know u can afford d pregnacare buy it. but ur diet is d most important thing that must be focused on. Not every body can afford pregnacre, so its use depends on our pockets. My husband bought it for me but anytime I take it my stool will be so hard, so I stopped it. but what I took then helped me ( fresh cooked okro without stew, ewedu without stew, enough Titus, apricots, coconut including d water, etc). U need to c my baby.

Have you tried backing him? Or a cold bath?? The shock of the cold water should make him close his eyes immediately lol. Don't mind me but seriously it may soothe him and ease the process of sleep.

pls cold water is not good for little babies let it be lukewarm. This is to avoid cough, cattarh and pneumonia.

@all, nobody pray for miscarriage but if there is any abnormalities in d developing foetus, it will surely come down in d first trimester. God is perfect. I have d same experience that adorablewifey had but today God has blessed me with a bouncing baby boy who will be 7months on d 27th of ths month. Am not pregnant now but I just love this thread. Pls mamas, in a situation where MIL will be telling my DS that see Lola (my name) and be reffering to my hubby twin sister that see mummy. congrats dear, ur breast milk will even overflow, give it 3 days. u said less than 24 hers right, that's how it is just allow d baby to suck it will come out naturally. baby welcome to d world. but pls make sure u wear bra o cos of pain/fever.

u can tell MIL to massage with hot water as in put cloth inside hot water and massage/press (not with force o) for him morning and night. dis process is just for 3 months.

u can take but don't add sugar. burp ur baby at every feed and don't lie him down immediately after feeding.
