@realityshot, it's been a wonderful experience and lots of lessons learned, was to take my yams to Lokoja, but vehicle disappointed me, change of plans moving yams to Lagos, now left zakIbo too tam already yesterday to see my family in Lokoja because they are worried, as I write this am in a night bus heading to Lagos to meet truck, some nairaland members who got in touch are awhere of my movement
Truck fully loaded
The second image is when it is dark after finished loading truck
In this business I give the Ibo's kudos they understood the the game very well, they with their 911 in droves move yams in thousands to their locations, same with people from Benin
An ibo man told me they can't loose in the game because they have barns build to store yams and store and they sell in tens, six, PCs what they bought in hundreds per set

@yinkamen123,
I agree with what you wrote up there 100%, I reside in Lokoja where we use to enjoy 16-18 hours of power supply, now is paltry 2 or 4 hours in 24 hours, a friend who works with AEDC said that the power supply to Lokoja is now metred the investor who bought GEREGU power station,he now channel the bulk of what they generate to Abuja,
Now am currently on a business trip to zakibiam in Benue state, I have been here now for 7 days power supply stays all the time few interruption once in a while , even with the availability of the light here i can authoritatively say houses don't even have outside illumination light because it blows up their electric bulbs, you just enter the room and you see light, and most parts of the country that needs the light don't get

I will update the house later,
For those sending me messages about how to get into the business we carry everybody along
God bless Benue state ooooo
The yams available here is unprecedented, I want to believe that post harvest storage is the major headache this Country have .you need to see way these farmers are trouping in with yams with Peugeot wagons, all kinds of pick-up trucks
Right now mostly places in the market is not passable because, yam is everywhere
Another thing here is that farmers here are wise now, they have jack price of yam, they said everything is expensive in Nigeria so they too need to pass their cost to someone else

Agriculture › Re: Anybody Interested In Yam Business From Zakibiam by confluence(op): 5:49pm On Nov 27, 2016
@realityshot, I did not take note of that will do that tomorrow, but those yams that are 18k-25k range are up to the length and big
Will get a proper measure tomorrow by God's grace when market open
In Lokoja for example that yam that is sold above for 10k for 100pcs, half of the 100 which is 50 is called ARATA. goes for 13500-14000 which I normally buy

Agriculture › Re: Anybody Interested In Yam Business From Zakibiam by confluence(op): 8:34am On Nov 27, 2016
@realityshot, most trucks that are 911 are going towards Benin, the one I pictured up their are mostly going to PH and Lagos, they look more stable and well balanced mere looking at them after loading
I do not understand what you mean by length of truck,
From observation most trucks are parked outside somewhere not in inside the market, it is after you have purchased your yam you go to discuss with the drivers going your direction
The market is closed today Sunday
The one I pictured above I think they are refer to as 10 tyres.hope you get it
There is massive yam here,
Agriculture › Re: Anybody Interested In Yam Business From Zakibiam by confluence(op):
The fully loaded truck above I was told consist of about 18000 tubers of yam depending on the size of yams
Some with smaller tubers could take up to 20,000
I will hang around till Tuesday was told more farmers will bring in yams
Hezbola , what is the cost of yam in your area, are you Interested but you will need others too so as to bring cost of transportation to be shared among all
Most trucks I have seen are heading to Lagos, Benin and PH
All marked yams are sold already
