Gravatar:Why would you say it’s crazy? ![]() Someone came here and posted that he is looking for a replacement engine because the one he had got totaled after just 1 unfortunate overheating episode. . . Another poster came and said that’s why he prefers his own engine because it’s still going strong after several overheating episodes . . . Note the singular fact that the op didn’t outright ask for the price of a new engine but also stated the conditions that led to him sourcing for such engine |
Shettima was talking thrash and wasting the program’s airtime so they had to stop him. Why will he leave the obvious question they asked him and start drawling on and on about something else entirely? ![]() |
silvoclaira:Don’t you think you’re the one actually in denial? ![]() |
Owopariola001:Cassavani urchin, weddings usually take place on mondays in Anambra till tomorrow. I know it’s not in your nature but try to travel and see. |
Read novels una no go gree ![]() How would your grammar now improve? |
Owopariola001:Agbadorian Urchin, so you mean wedding ceremonies do not hold in Anambra State anymore? |
They are simply scouting for new virgins and underage wives ![]() |
9jatriot:Now to your original question in your opening post, the answer will be very few notherners, but I believe if it was a southern event, many southerners will attend. it’s usually funny while staring into the mirror and seeing hypocrisy staring right back at you |
LegendHero:One day you tinubu supporters will allow your candidates to go out naked in public just to justify their trends ![]() |

9jatriot:How many lawyers would have attended that event if it was hosted in Borno State on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday? Even on Sallah or Christmas Day self? ![]() Even Shettima would have conveniently found an excuse never to attend. |
DaveDGreat:No nothing oh lol ![]() It’s just that before uzodimma became governor and ipob/esn/ugm began their activities in the state it was always Ngor-Okpala that had the most stubborn youths in the state |
Why always Orlu/Awo/Mgbidi/Ihiala? Why is this always happening in that side of the state? Out of all the local government areas why them? I always thought Ngor-Okpala was the most restful area in Imo state but now I’m starting to think differently ![]() |
equity2genesis:It’s a common problem in these gearboxes but it’s easy to fix. Read this post below to have an idea of the issue https://www.nairaland.com/996664/maintenance-tips-honda-cars/342#112199773 Take special note of the circled area of the bottom picture in this post for the location of the problem https://www.nairaland.com/996664/maintenance-tips-honda-cars/346#113317682 Good luck |
Chae:The transmission issue affected mostly the V6’s from 2003-2004. So discussion continues is okay both the 4cyl and V6 gearbox wise. For ball joint issue just change it once every 2 years if you I’ve in an area with extremely terrible roads. |
Neyoh90:What engine is in your vehicle and what exactly is the issue? Is it the vtc? Is it the leakage? |
tobisunday:No clue |
Chai! Be like say foodstuffs don finish for dru mama kitchen abeg make una no yab dru again for a while, let’s give him some time to heal well, once him mama go market again come back we go see him brake light for here ![]() Na that time cooking pot go full yakata and all portions served accordingly lol |
Gyarah:You’re free to associate or move about but impersonation is a big crime especially when it’s done to hoodwink the entire Nigerian populace into doing something they were not willing to do before |

Thurmieee:From the story you’ve told me I’d not suspect the head gasket just yet although there’s a probability it might come to fixing finally. As far as your vehicle does not smoke to cause the engine oil shortage then there’s some little things you should do first before paying someone to dismantle your engine to get to the head gasket as it’s supposed to be the last resort. First make sure both your cooling fans are functioning properly and at the correct speed. Change their engines if you haven’t already done so. I hope you’ve not removed your thermostat yet, if you’ve still got a thermostat installed in your engine then I think it’s time you changed it to another one in case the one in there has begun to fail gradually. What’s the condition of your radiator now after the fix? Has it not occurred to you that there might be some internal leaks or structural damage that is blocking water passages? If I were you I’d go ahead and change the radiator, anything that makes a component to melt in it means something else unseen must have deteriorated too. Also make sure the water hoses to and from the engine to radiator are all structurally sound without any cracks or leaks at their joints or in their body. If you’ve done all the above and there’s still an overheating episode (and bubbles still show in your radiator when you start it up in the mornings) then you should schedule your engine for a head gasket change asap and reduce the frequency you use it until you do so. |
Thurmieee:Did your engine ever overheat badly before these issues started re-occurring? Bubbles appearing in the radiator when the engine is first started when cold is a telltale sign of head gasket leaks. What’s the condition of your engine oil and radiator coolant/water? Do they look normal? Do their level change with time? Do you add coolant to the radiator frequently? Is your engine oil level at the usual guage? |
WycliffeSMB:Yes you can change the bearings without changing the hub. |
WycliffeSMB:An easy way to check your mpg is by first taking a jerrycan (like your old engine oil can) and going to a petrol station to buy 4 liters of fuel. Put the jerrycan in your boot. Then take your vehicle for a drive and keep going until the orange reserve light on your fuel guage lights up. Once the reserve light has lit up immediately find a place to park your vehicle and take the fuel you bought earlier and pour it into your tank Go back into your vehicle and before driving off first take a picture of your odometer with your phone (or simply reset your trip counter A or B) Once you’ve noted the figures on your odometer then you can go ahead and start driving your vehicle. Drive it until the orange fuel gauge reserve light comes on again Immediately the reserve light comes on find a place to park and take another picture of your odometer (or the trip computer if you reseted it before) and note the mileage/distance you have driven with the 4 liters you poured into the tank earlier. Once you have noted down both the before and after mileage figures of your vehicle using the 4 liters of petrol you can then go ahead to calculate your fuel consumption by ; subtracting the BEFORE mileage from the AFTER mileage and dividing your answer by 4 which will be equal to your vehicles fuel consumption by kilometers/miles per liter If the calculation is confusing to you then just do the experiment and take the pictures with your phone and post it here so we can help you calculate it. Remember that the pictures to take are your odometer readings immediately your reserve light comes on before you poured in the fuel from your jerrycan and the odometer reading after the fuel light comes on again immediately you exhausted the fuel you poured into the tank. the normal consumption rate for your 2001 Honda Odyssey is 7kms/L from the factory |

Chai! So this story I read here some weeks ago is true? |
Demor1:Oga go and service your throttle body, carbon buildup must have clogged up some passages there. I hope it’s not a newly installed/refurbished AC system? |
CheerfulGiver: Pope come and carry oh GAS e dey OVEN e dey e remain who go carry LIGHTER come ![]() Cheerful dey keep this one for freezer for you |
baconline:No it’s not a matter of reserve. That’s why I initially inquired as to the method he used in determining his tank was empty before adding the 2 liters he bought from the black market. The usual fuel consumption of this vehicle is 9kms per Liter average so since he topped up 2 liters and drove strictly on the highway without any hold up or traffic he would have a better mileage hence the 3 extra kms that EazyMoh posted about , his vehicle has normal highway mileage. The issue is his vehicle has no functional O2 sensors, this will make his city (stop and go) mileage very bad unless he does something about it. On a highway with steady moderately open throttle position (via the sensor) seen by his brainbox the cars computer will use preset values to administer fuel and air but when he’s in a city traffic with fluctuations in his throttle position sensor input his brainbox will not be able to compute the right mixture of fuel thereby making his vehicle run super rich. |
Pelicanmedia:On a highway it’s normal fuel consumption. But since your oxygen sensors are not working you will continue to have terrible fuel management in the city traffic. So unless you plan to always be driving in highways you’d better do something about your sensors. |
