Blackbishop:An in-depth expose like this is supposed to have been posted in the car talk section. You’d find a Nissan/infinity thread there. In case of next time Good work |
AND SO? ![]() That house might actually be their family home in their village built by their father or grandfather and there have been relatives living in it and tending to their businesses in the village. Remember they were based in plateau state. Might have been visiting that house in that compound maybe once in every other year for Christmas. They have grown and their kindred must have allocated them their due lands for building for themselves and their families or they have acquired lands in that same village for the same. If they wish to renovate this particular house for whomever lives there (maybe a gateman or relative) then fine. But it’s not something that they must do. Remember if they have to hold occasions in their village they must have their own better compounds OR they use a rented cosy venue. It’s mostly funeral and igba- nkwu that is done in a lady’s fathers house. By the way, do psquare have any single sisters? ![]() |
WycliffeSMB:No, you’d need a 5 liters can of engine oil for it because It’s a 6 cylinder engine. |
@ cj1080, Geoabeeys Your engine mounts are not directly joined together with your engine. There is a mounting plate in between the mount and engine. The mounting plate is usually screwed to the engine and the engine mounts are screwed to the mounting plate. Your vibrations could be caused by the screws holding the mounting plate to your engine getting worn out or loose. If one bolt on that mounting plate is loose or broken your vehicle will vibrate no matter the type of engine mounts you buy and put into your engine. So when next you’re doing your maintenance tell your mechanic to check if the bolts on the metal plates that are holding the engine mounts to your engine frame are still intact. |
Burchester:The mechanic who worked on your suspension must have either damaged your wheel speed sensor for that tyre oh he didn’t plug it into the socket on the hub well after doing his work so go back and tell him to check. Better still get a simple scan of the vehicle so you know exactly what the issue is. |
Dozieson:@davessales039 No it’s not new product in the market. I’ve been seeing them on shelves since 2020. Even this morning on my way to work I saw them at a nearby mobil station and took pictures.

but finally finally I never see person wey be like this our bros before sha o even after we don corner am proper him still dey find the way to break wall and keep running ![]() Wonderment no dey ever cease true true
|
Dozieson:Yes I don’t know why most retailers don’t stock it. Or even if they have it in stock people buy it up very fast. I have a slow leak on my engine and I’ve been using this one for my last 2 oil changes. My engine takes 4ltrs and I use the rest for top off till my next change. It’s the most cost effective method of sidestepping my problem for now. I have driven roughly 2,000kms since my last oil change and I still have half a liter left in the 5ltr can which means before I top off the whole 5ltrs I’m already due for another change. Since I found out about this 5ltr can I’ve never even looked at the 4ltr own again because It’s cheaper than buying the 4ltr can and an extra 1ltr one at the same time. Let me bust your head, even the regular mobil 1000 XHP 20w50 has its own 5ltr can too ![]() |
Dozieson:There is. Walk into big mobil petrol stations and you’d get it. There is also the regular 4ltr can too.

kay2dot:The first code is for your evap canister purge valve and the second code is for either your throttle position sensor or electronic throttle sensor on your throttle body. Is your vehicle using drive by wire or throttle cable? |
WycliffeSMB:Yes There’s a 5L size can of it too, you can buy that one. |
Snrman1:I agree, too much of vawulence dey spoil matter for here. welcome to the Uber thread. may your experience be free from hoodlumism and gbas-gbos Enjoy ![]()

What! ![]() How much did he steal and how much was his Bail? Is that how apc and buhari wants to die this case? Kai! And some people are clamoring for tinubu to replace buhari. God please save Nigeria for me and my future kin amen |
BAZ001:My brother everybody with an iota of sense here already knows that pearl = gabrinchi and we don’t mind that. But what we do mind is that he used ‘wuru - wuru’ to win that N2k and felt like a yahooboy ontop maga hardworking drivers heads here all the while forming fleet manager and boss lol From my first post I have been hinting on how he can easily make restitution for the lowly N2k he fraudulently misappropriated but he crookedly keeps dodging as usual. Saying I’m trying to blackmail him if we can’t trust him with common N2k then what else can we truly trust him with? I just read the expose pope has uncovered concerning both monikers above and begin to wonder why pearl is still hell bent on going down with his sinking ship. Rubbishing his name here Just because of lowly N2k I love the way everyone is just giving him their rope, when it’s long enough he would form a noose and use it to hang himself ![]() |

kay2dot:Is your D light blinking? Has it ever blinked before? See, try to get a scan of your transmission and bring the resultant codes here. |
Millyyyyy:So you’re saying that without the keys in the ignition your cooling fans and radio were on? We’re any other things on too like your instrument cluster, door vanity lights etc? And after you came and inserted your ignition key and tried starting it and it didn’t start you then switched the ignition off and everything went off and back to normal? Is this what happened? If it is then I think you need an auto electrician to look at your ignition switch and it’s accompanying circuits. |
Greatmatty:No I don’t have anyone I can recommend but people repair these pumps at oyingbo or ladipo easily. I think the use of substandard/wrong seals was the issue with your prior rebuilds. If you could source the seals from Amazon/Aliexpress yourself and hand over to a mechanic to fix I bet you’d be happy with the results. |
WycliffeSMB:No no, go to mobil petrol station and buy the mobil 2000 5w30 the one with a black cover , use it for one oil change interval and observe the conditions of both the oil level and your engine performance. Note that the 20w50 mobil XHP has a blue cover, don’t use this one. Use the one with a black cover. |

kay2dot:How long ago was the tokumbo engine installed? If it wasn’t more than a month ago then I believe the smoke passing the exhaust from your former engine fouled up the O2 sensors and they will need some cleaning to be working well again. Or just driving normally with the new engine for some weeks might loosen up the oily debris fouling the sensors and they will be working fine again. But If you drove with the former smoking engine for years it might be that the sensors are damaged at this point and need to be replaced. First clean them and if they still throw codes then replace them. Highest N20k for both sensors. I hope you put your thermostat back into the tokumbo engine, because if you didn’t then expect your engine to start smoking soon and your oxygen sensors can never work well no matter if it’s new ones or the old ones. Concerning your gearbox you need to give more information. A scan will help WITH A GOOD HIGH END SCANNER able to read transmission codes. How does it jerk? Does it jerk like ‘gbim’ when you put it into reverse the whole time or only when the engine is cold (when it’s first started after parking for a long time) ? When changing from gears 1-2 does it rev up high before changing with a jerk and does your tires ‘screech’ ? If your engine a 4 or 6 plugs? Explain how the gearbox issues are affecting your drive so I have a picture of what’s going on. |
Plus I don’t know why you guys are dragging cheerfulgiver upandan. It’s an open secret that If you guys are playing local league he is comfortably playing champions league ![]() The level is parallel YOU do YOU while HE does HIM Heaven knows I like it when he posts his dashboards ![]() |
WycliffeSMB:Then follow my recommendation, if the engine doesn’t smoke or short oil then you can switch to a higher end brand of oil like mobil1 5w30. But for now try the one I told you of for one oil change interval of 3000kms and see how the vehicle behaves with it. |
kay2dot:Your vehicle might be missing its thermostat and it’s cooling fans are running directly from battery power. Then, it’s like your oxygen sensors are both bad OR you have a smoky engine. If your engine doesn’t smoke then change both your O2 sensors. |
Greatmatty:Didn’t you read my last post concerning your issue? Give your mechanic the stuff to fix once more and if he doesn’t do it properly it will be wise to buy another power steering pump at that point don’t you think? |
Pearl1910:This guy, you too like argument pass fight see how you’re talking to me as if I’m a jjc on this forum See, having a second account here isn’t a crime, I don’t see any reason why you’re still digging even after looking around and finding yourself in a deep, dark hole. I myself have another account I use as well as many well known monikers here so why are you dancing so hard to this beat of shame that is being played for you? ![]() A simple “okay - okay, I’m the person. My second moniker is gabrinchi. Make una no vex. See, I bought 20 mtn N100 recharge cards to share to you guys. Abeg manage and forget about my 4k up” shikena , we will laugh and forget. But trying to make us question our own intelligence is the height of your tomfoolery on this issue I swear ![]() Keep on with your rigmaroles if you like, the only thing that will be taking the damage is your already fragile reputation here. |
WycliffeSMB:Then buy the black cover mobil 2000 5w30 and use it then watch your oil level for that week to see if it burns or leaks. |
SeyiJayden:It’s better you buy that black cover mobil 2000 5w30 than use hardex |
WycliffeSMB:As a tokumbo or 9ja used? If as tokumbo then use 5w20 but if as Nigerian used then ask the former owner what was used or just safely use the 20w50 weight of a good brand of oil. |
