at that time you made posts praising the new governmental structure of the country and commending the new president which most were happy with, thereby amassing a huge followership and you had your likes and shares pouring in by the hundreds. that time we all looked forward to your snippets with zeal because we thought you were like most who were happy with the new direction the nation was being steered and commended you for your seemingly selfless encouragements towards the new government.

you went ahead with your praise singing well into the following years right up to the attempt for a second tenure by PMB even amidst the glaring failure of the government of the day which was audible to the deaf and visible to the blind. things were going from bad to worse at an alarming speed and the entity called Nigeria started hanging on a precipice. the time for a new election came and one way or another PMB was voted back into aso rock. many were happy with his victory then but most were sad because there were hushed rumours of rigging in some quarters. you on the other hand were overjoyed and resumed posting congratulatory messages and accolades for the elected president. everyone thought you were just another faceless forumite who wished the country well.

that was, until the day we found out you were actually a political stooge carrying the APC party card and most of our eyes became clear.

Most scanners can scan only the engine and few can scan the gearbox. Make sure you use a good scan tool that can read codes from both the engine and gearbox of your car

There’s no other suggestions that will work flawlessly for you. Don’t make the mistake of pouring any other type of oil in your Honda gearbox or you might likely regret it

For mounting a tokumbo gearbox you’d bed at least 6 1ltr bottles of it. One of It will cost between 3.5-4K in the market.

So apart from the gear, windshield, upholstery and fuel consumption what other issues are you currently having with the car?

If those are the only problems remaining then I’d suggest you fix it up and keep using it. You’ve already spent much on it and you’re almost set to make it somewhat wholesome again (at least for Uber)

If I were in your shoes I’d budget a Tokumbo windscreen, tokumbo gearbox, get seat covers and maybe get a tokumbo fuse box and then SCAN THE CAR for anything else that might be lurking while using it for Uber so I can save towards the fix. The fuel consumption issue will only be fixable with the aid of a scan.

Selling that car to get another Nigerian use is a gamble because you’d not be certain of the health of the cars engine and gearbox plus tokumbo vehicles the standard of that your present troubled car will cost upwards of N3m in the current market if it’s a clean title.

Besides are you sure your car wasn’t initially flooded? You might need to check its vin so you’d know if is the reason why you’ve not had rest of mind from the car.

Engine was taken from Volvo, Ac, leather seats were standard while the French spec was nothing to be compared to it. It is still the same scenario with the Engine oils

Waka pass. I once noted in a WhatsApp forum that any oil made in South Africa cannot be used on a US spec vehicle. If the oil is good for the US cars, it should be sold in the USA. Petrocam is supplied from SA but no details about where it is produced. Of all the African countries, Nigeria is still the only country that focuses on cars from the USA and since Oando, Total and AP are unable to satisfy the stringent requirements of the Manufacturers of cars for American market,why will we bother with an oil who sees our local oils as competitors and join them in destroying our cars?

Okay good advice. Although I read that this petrocam makes their oils I’m Dubai. Are Dubai production oils still manageable for American spec cars?

Honda and Toyota have lots of fakes in the market and when you’re buying tokumbo part make sure you’re not buying ‘appearance’ spec and your part will last. When you’re buying parts always scrutinize the treads carefully because that’s the part that mostly fails if it’s already worn out when you bought it as tokumbo.

I’ve been driving with my ball joints on eod for 5 years now and no noise. I grease it every six months and i budget to change them next year.

That experience was targeted at those asking or wondering why they don't get surge request even when they find themselves in an area surrended by surge.

Now, first thing to note is riders who knows the technic will always make request even if there is surge where they are and their request won't get to the driver with any surge but I'm not here to share how a rider can do that because this place is meant for drivers and their travails so anyone who's not comfortable that I shared a tip on how driver can benefit more from trips and surge area should simple go hug a transformer... Mobil1 5w20EP & 5w30HM full synthetics, Mobil 2000 5w30 semi synthetic and Castrol 5w30 EP. it’s a Honda k24 engine
