Can this fly for 850k?

I finally bid goodbye to new tyres yesterday after Gazzuzz gave my car a befitting set of toks continental tyres. Tyres will truly pass for brand new.

Keep up the good work Sir, I am very impressed.

Dealers were selling badly accident vehicles to my company before I introduced this VIN check to my MD yesterday, infact, some of these vehicles purchased in the past came without airbag.

Car guide did a very good job which has added another star to my ratings before my employers. Every report he provided was accompanied with an indepth analysis which fastrtacked our decision making.

Did your account officer say rate of 12.4% was for 182 or 364?. The rates are not really known prior to the auction. It is only after the auction that the rates are known but account officers can try to extrapolate based on the last rate but it is not cast in stone.

Zenith bank just debited me for 182 days at 10.8%. My account officer had informed prior to initiating the transaction that rate the week is 12.4%. 10.8% for 182 days is not encouraging.

Now they are telling me they will discount if I want to collect my principal and interest back because it has started already.

I was at Standard Chartered bank this morning to make enquiry. I was told the minimum I can invest through primary market is 50m, while for seconday market is 500k at 10%. How true is this info of 50m minimum for primary market?

I have to state that when I went to Apin lab for my viral load test and paid, the lab scientist took my sample, conducted on site test to hepatitis c and told me he got a negative result. I am still confused of this whole thing. I have done over 10 test for hepatitis c. 4 is positive including the one from paramount festac. 6 is negative. I don't know the reason for this contradictory results but after physical examination, the doctor said I don't show any physical symptoms in my body. I thank God for the doctor at Navy hospital Ojo. His name is Dr. Eche.

This post is to explain the reason for my long absence, a lot of people were willing to help me, a nairaland member "controlv" even promised to to help me with a month drug for hepatitis c which is about N170k but maybe I won't be needing it.

wow!!! You are an honest Nigerian. I know someone who just abandoned his car in the police station, last last after 1year the other people had carried their cars away and he was called to come and carry his also.

Im the person that bidded 1950 for the 09 corrolla you advertized last year November but we couldn't agree on the price. Had to settle for a 09 accord and you recently fixed the AC of the car last month. The AC is working very fine and I'll bring it for checkups as requested.

I learnt the benefits of comprehensive insurance in a very harsh way.

I used to think there is no need for me to insure my car comprehensively, since the current market value of my 04 accord is less than 1m, until last year October when I crashed into a parked 07 corolla and Lexus ES350.

I had to cough out 1m to settle the owner of the 04 corolla withing 1 week, spent 125k to fix the Lexus (owner was kind enough to contribute 40k of the repair bill) and 320k to fix my car.

The 07 corolla was damaged beyond repair and I had to sell it as is for 350k.

I informed the insurance company where i took the mandatory 3rd party insurance, i submitted incident report and repair estimate of 1.2m for the 2 cars. The investigation was concluded withing 2 weeks and they agreed to pay 732k.

It took 3 months of rigorous follow up before i get paid.

Would the case have been different if i had comprehensive insurance? YES!

1. I wouldn't have been under pressure to pay the 3rd party withing 1 week.

2. The amount sepnt to repair my car would have been paid my my insurance company.

3. I wouldn't have wasted so much energy to pursue claims. I had to visit the insurance company's office on a weekly basis for 3 months before i got paid. It would have been worse if i reside outside Lagos.

I have insured my 2 cars comprehensively with Mansard after that incident and i also advise my folks to do the same. If you can afford a car, you must be able to afford comprehensive insurance.

Just last week, on my way from Ibadan to Lagos, a 2012 Hyundai Accent had its tyre burst on Ibadan Lagos expressway and crashed into the culvet. I was among the people that parked to smypathize with the owner and I asked whether he had insurance, he had only 3rd party.

The summary of my epistle is: if you can afford a car, you should insure your car comprehensively.

Please locate the nearest CHAI centre. They give Hep c drug at a subsidized rate. I know of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital in Lafia, Geeral Hospital Keffi also runs the program. There is a centre in LUTH but i dont know how functional it is.

In the mean time, you can avail me the prescription by the doctor, i should be able to get one month medication (either of Sof/Led , Sof/Dac or Sof/Vel) for you FOC.
