Pls guys I have few questions.

1. can I fund and use my GTBank dollar mastercard for my wife's delivery expenses in Canada.

2. I am applying for a visa from Kuwait where I work to visit my wife and daughter who's currently in Canada for delivery. What would be my most compelling reason for visit?.

Good evening all. Please I would love to know my chances of getting a Canadian visa as a father whose wife is going for child birth.

She already has a visa and had been there before now for first delivery. However I was occupied with work that period. I do not know how compelling it would be by using my wife's delivery as a reason for travel.

I have a very strong home tie in UAE as my country of residence where I currently work as a Petroleum Engr.

You can use it. The minimum passport validity to travel to most countries is 6 months. You can also call IRCC for further details on that.

Can I use the passport like that for the trip being that I still over 7months passport validity or renew my passport before traveling. (Although I don't know the rules concerning Nigerian passport renewal before expiration)

The climate control ecu noticed the engine on, coil engaged but no rotation picked up by the rpm sensor on the VDC compressor. This will immediately throw a B1422 and disengage power to the clutch to ensure no added damage is caused by this malfunction.

So let's analyse.

Possible faults.

1. A Frozen compressor.

2. A faulty coil.


frozen compressor is a more likely cause.

I fixed the AC fixed today, the compressor was completely knocked, the condenser was also blocked. Had to change the 2 components.

Lesson learnt; always use a competent AC technician.

Good day gazzuz. I noticed that my AC is no longer cooling as usual in my Toyota RAV 4 2006 3.5L, I went to an AC technician to add some Freon, however the AC stopped during the recharge process and the light started blinking. I scanned it and its giving me B1422 ( Compressor lock). The technician is telling me the compressor clutch is damaged, but I have a feeling that he over added the Freon gas into the system. I really need an advice from you Sir.

(Bloomberg) -- Nigeria accused HSBC Holdings Plc of money laundering after an analyst working for the lender said that a second term for President Muhammadu Buhari may stall economic recovery in Africa’s biggest oil producer.

“What killed Nigeria’s economy in the past was the unbridled looting of state resources by leaders, the type which was actively supported by HSBC,” presidential spokesman Garba Shehu said in a statement late Saturday. A bank that “continued until a few months ago to shield the stolen funds of one of the leaders of the Nigerian Senate has no moral right whatsoever” to criticize Buhari, he said.

Nigerian investigations revealed that HSBC had laundered more than $100 million for Sani Abacha -- a military dictator who died in 1998 -- in Jersey, Paris, London and Geneva, Shehu said. A spokesman for HSBC declined to comment.


Nigeria’s allegations against the London-based lender come almost two months after it published a research note saying that a win for Buhari in February’s elections “raises the risk of limited economic progress and further fiscal deterioration, prolonging the stagnation of his first term.” The note was written by David Faulkner, a Johannesburg-based economist, on July 18, but was only widely publicized in Nigeria last week.

“With the coming of President Buhari, it is not a secret that corruption, corrupt individuals, banks and other corporate entities that aided corrupt practices are under investigation for various offenses,” Shehu said in the statement. “With the incoming election everybody is on edge and any analysis that is used to sway negative public opinion will be squashed as quickly as possible,” said Michael Famoroti, an economist at Lagos-based Vetiva Capital Management Ltd. “It’s possible the government is right in its claim but it completely missed the point because the issue HSBC raised had nothing to do with criminal or non-criminal activity. What is seen from their comments is that they don’t have the answers to the criticisms raised by HSBC.”

HSBC has a representative office in Nigeria’s commercial capital of Lagos, but doesn’t operate a full banking unit in the country, unlike rivals such as Citigroup Inc. and Standard Chartered Plc.
