Egbon am not changing your mind. Being a programmer is not just a year is about years. Ve been learning when I was in jss3 which i started from from batch programming language. The simplest and useful programming language. There is not C++ will do that C# will not do Vb. It is how you use them or how u make them to work. My brother you want to learn C++ a year. Wow u must be a fast learner. You will just ve the idea you wont know it like a professional. If you really want to be a crazy, geek and guru programmer you cant just say you only know C++.

i guess i have no idea of what am getting into....

Guy learn to start from the basic ones. C++ is high oo. If you learn VB or C# you will be very good in C++. You try and learn them. Guy programming language is not something you can jump and learn because if you dnt know their basics my brother you wont be very good or a professional in writing them. I started from batch file, Vbscript, Html, Css, PHP, Vb, C# then C++ and find it easy for me because ve gone through similar languages lik VB and C#. Am no that good in CSS and PHP because I didnt finish it. I just want to know their basics as a web programming language.

Really, I have always thought its something i can hazzle on my own, dont make me change my mind and break bank for NIIT ooo,
I must be a programming guru before this year runs out thats my task.

I only need something that will help me write some small programms for some task in my line of work.
Maybe i will get more addictive to others along the line.

Hi guys,

Pls i thank you all for this great forum. Kudos to u all.

I currently need to learn programming, i feel it will be needed in my line of work as a petroleum Engineer.

1. How is it possible to learn and be competent in
VBA and C++ in 6months.

2. I need a good programming school probably in Owerri ( cos i reside there) that will break the ice for me before i can handle it on my own.

3. How much will i be budgetting for this.

Check your Oil Control Valve if its damaged, check the OCV solenoid if its bad or not, check the VVT circuit for breakage in wiring continuity.

If you can't do this on your own, ask a competent tech guy to do it for you.

Thanx buddy

you didnt specify the code of the O2 sensor, you didnt specify if the malfunction had stopped, as for your camshaft position actuator, bank 1 is the bank closest to your firewall. If you fix these problem the vsc light will go off.

you need to let a highly competent technician look and help you out with the fixing of that malfunction. What state do you reside in?

The O2 sensor and cylinder misfire codes issues are resolved. Codes P0037and P0300
I feel the guy failed to connect something back in the VVS probably the oil control valve in the camshaft timing system. Now i have P0010 with a rough engine idling.

I reside in imo

Pls can u help and interpret cos my Technician doesnt seem to understand that one

Thanx

I still don't understand why/how immigration can seize the passport of a traveler who hasn't committed an immigration offence. How is that possible?! I know some of the immigration officials are corrupt, but surely, they can't just seize a passport with a legitimate visa.

Then you obviously have never experienced them before.
It is on record that our immigration officers at Lagos use $100 to disvirgin a passport.

Uhmm actually you are wrong! The CBN sells dollar to these bureau de change and give them instruction to sell @ 8% spread. Let's do the math: Let's do the maths
3.5% of 196.95 = 6.89
196.95+6.89= 203....which means;
Bureau de change are not supposed to be selling dollar more than 203 ,yet they keep selling to pple at a rate 240naira = $1 and above......I dunno if its in economics Textbooks but I do Know that GREED is one factor behind INFLATION,lol cheesy

Bros youve forgotten one of the fundermental rule in Economics, thats is the law of elasticity of demand.
Are the CBN able to supply dollar to BDC operator to meet up with the high demand for this hard currency, the answer is a big No, their reason being that it depreciates the foreign reserve.

This is the major reason Forex was banned for some 41commodities.

They don't look brutalised to me .
Yes most military personnel in Nigeria need to be trained and retrained ,but for one of the brothers to have said this is democracy and so on and so forth ,could it be the brothers were also trying to prove something ?

Unfortunately Soldiers are trained to subdue any form of insurbordination, its the training so that statement could have infuriated them and a statement like that would have come with an attitude too

When we seek to understand before we are understood we save ourselves a lot of stress.

Is it that you did not understand the English the OP wrote or that you have a soldier relation.

Someone bashed their car while driving recklessly, or have you forgotten how the law enforcement guys drive on Nigerian roads. And all you are saying is that they have no right to complain.

Imagine yourself in that condition and edit that shi.t you just wrote there. Its people like you that are spoiling this coun3

Car Talk / Re: Have You Bought A Ride From Coutonou? -share Ur Experience Pls! by conyema12(m): 1:00pm On Nov 21, 2015
From my personal experience, going to Cotonou to buy car is very good as it exposed me to a myriad of options. At least I was able to see various specks of the type of ride I bought. In fact I liken it to going to America or Europe to buy car. All I had to do was make my choice.

Guys don't be deceived, there is no cutting down cost in it. when you combine the Benin and Nigeria genuine duty on the car, the price is about the same with the one bought at Lagos or Tincan Island.
Also You will be able to pick a non-accidented cars.

The only challenge I had was moving the cash across Seme border to pay for the car. And don't forget to carry a friend along, you don't need to ask me why.

This is a clear indication that there is no country in Nigeria. Even when It takes the Head of State time to acknowledge that its people are been attacked, where the opposition are busy politicizing it.

It is very sad cos the Boko haram started with the demolition of churches and maiming of southern Xtians yet the Northern religious and political class could not publicly condem it.

What a country

Car Talk / Multiple Cylinder Misfire In Toyota Rav 4 by conyema12(m): 10:21am On Oct 21, 2015
Just noticed that when i accelerate my car rapidly it often misfires with the CEL blinking. During this state it drags. but the misfire stops when the engine is turned off and restarted again, it now makes me to avoid accelerating rapidly to prevent the misfire reoccurrence. I have scanned it with my OBD II and P0300.

I also used to have the CEL on with the VSC & 4WD light on long time ago when i got the car, i also scanned and it says "Cart Engine Emission below threshold". I took it to my Auto mechanic and he said its an oxygen sensor problem. Can this bad O2 sensor be the reason for the misfire.

Thanks guys
