Bolton is the worst opponent according to you because they were bottom og the table simplistic and would be ashamed if it was made by a toddler.
FYI Bolton in their 7 games have played Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City.

Any intelligent analyst would consider that Bolton has played all the big boys in the league and those results are not a reflection of what their average performance all season would look like.
what about sunderland and west brom?
have they played all the big boys in the league too?

Dude.

You are obviously deluded. It is absolutely stu.pid to try to argue in this way. The number of passes is inversely proportional to Torres' number of minutes on the pitch. I will go down the route of beer parlour analysis with your dumb Bottom.

Unless you can prove the number of passes completed by the team in the time Torres was playing you cannot prove anything mate. More importantly, you cannot drag me with you into the gutters of intellectually-bereft arguments of concluding that the number of passes made by the "whole team" is influenced by the presence/absence of an attacker.

I am sorry but intentionally excluding other crucial factors like;

Influence of other featuring personnel on particular match-day,
Strength of opposition,
Defensive set-up of opposition,

to name a few in a bid to win a hopeless argument is absolutely heart breaking.
How can anyone argue like this?
Now
nateevs, no need to argue any further.

i have analysed the positions of the teams chelsea played against.
as you can see, torres played more minutes in the games involving teams in the top half of the table and he was less involved against the teams in the bottom half of the table - villas-boas knows fully well the value of torres contrary to what the charlatans think!

that fact alone has rendered the theories of dayokanu and ibime null and void

How can anyone in his right mind persist in arguing in this manner? What exactly have you proved?
dayokanu is a charlatan! the biggest coot in this part of the world.
i am struggling to understand what he's trying to prove here. that torres is useless? that drogba is better upfront than torres or what?

dayokanu:
Looking at the figures above.
Chelsea was least succesful in games vs Stoke, Norwich and Man Utd Where Torres spent the most amount of time on the field.
Chelsea was most succesful in games vs WBA, Sunderland and Bolton where Torres spent the least amount of time on the field
games torres spent the most amount of time on the field
man utd(1st)
stoke(8th)
norwich(9th)

games torres spent the least amount of time on the field.
sunderland(16th)
west brom(17th)
bolton(20th)

if this does not prove dayokanu is a halfwit trying to disguise as a genius, nothing else would!

dayokanu:
Walcott has scored against Man Utd, Chelsea, yet could not score vs Blackburn, Swansea etc
walcott has scored against man utd, once(this season)
walcott has scored against chelse, once(i think at the emirates last season)

torres has scored multiple times against both teams - home and away!
concentrate! i said torres has scored more goals against united and chelsea more than any striker in the league.
no luck of the draw or mishap or one-offs!

torres has scored against every big team in england. torres has scored 4 times against man utd, he scored 10 times against chelsea!
he has scored against wenger's team too. torres is far better than any german striker since klinsmann!

Hehehehehe. . .

How can I begin to laugh at you both? You guys have turned yourselves into clowns in an attempt to prove something.
Firstly, how dumb can you be to draw any sort of conclusion from a single event? Not anywhere in history has anyone been able to draw and sort of inference from a single event.

You both possess immense stupidity to take a single game and suggest that based on on stats from that game, Torres does worse with the team. You then go ahead and isolate that single statistical evidence, ignoring any other mitigating and/or enhancing factors and then totally draw an inference. If anything at all, based on this act of stupendous idiocy, I should not be having any sort of conversation with you both.

Imagine Dayo taking the average of six events, then comparing the result with the outcome of a single event and then telling others they are silly for not accepting. . . I am lost for words to call you. He even had the audacity to use the clause "It shot up"

Dayo is making us believe that this single piece of empirical evidence carries more weight than the result/average of 6 events. You are dumb, st.upid, senseless and sending you to school has been a sheer waste of meaningful resources.

If after this post you still maintain your stance Dayo and Ibime, you both will go down as the most deluded pair of idiots on this forum.

As a matter of fact, you have left out probably the most important factor to justify your empty argument. How can I even take you seriously?
don't mind the charlatans, nateevs. . . . . . .ibime and dayokanu would type anything to satisfy their erections over torres! bringing up stats against bolton(the bottom team after 7 games). had torres played that match, he would have gotten a double hatrick.

any striker that can score against man utd, would score against bolton!
bolton were dire - if ibime thinks lampard has arrived cos he scored a hatrick against that hapless bolton team then ibime is a bigger ninny than i thunk. david luiz carried the ball for 70 yards twice without any challenges from bolton. that resulted into few of the goals in the first half!

we shall see lampard when chelsea face man city or tottenham soon!

PS - this same Swansea scored twice against the impregnable defence Shawcross plays for, the Shawcross that muppet coogar said is better than the Arsenal defenders, the same Shawcross that was decimated by a struggling Sunderland a few weeks ago. cheesy
swansea scored against shawcross my arse. arsenal were at home when they played swansea. i am fazed you can even bring that game up.
a game arsenal only won with a vorm error. totally against the run of play. the sunderland game also came at the back of stoke going to ukraine in the midweek to play europa league. they were spent even before the ball is kicked. however, they have a remarkable record at home - wenger would tell you about them.

More confirmation of the sheer idiocy we'll have to endure for weeks - I don't blame y'all, I blame the team for losing and giving you room to talk your usual senseless nonsense.

You are a dimwit and nothing better - none of the goals came from CB issues, so the assertion is still correct - both goals were caused either by the midfield failing to close down players or by an MIA RB.
vidic would have stopped van der vaart from scoring that first goal! it's all about awareness in the box.
hell, phil jones or chris smalling would have done better!

Mention which goal came from Per being in a defensive high line and I'll accept - NONE of the goals Arsenal has conceded since Per started have come from a defensive high line mistake by Per.
so it's only when goals come that we should discuss arsenal's lethargic defending.
did you not see the ball per left and bale closed in and missed when he should have scored? wayne rooney or chicharito would have buried that!
what is so worrying about arsenal is that spurs didn't even play well last night and they won. spurs played better on the day they lost 5-1 to man city - which shows how far off the top teams arsenal are!

But I know I'm wasting my time - you will come back with an equally or more egregiously idiotic response.
you are a reprobate!
it seems you don't even have the nous to fully understand what's going on with your club. arsenal's gd is in the negative.

I've said so many times over - calling for signings of specific players as if they are some silver bullet is the worst form of self-deception.
it is not. cahill and samba would be a massive improvement on the dross at the emirates.

Perceptive observers who should know a few things about center backs like Keown have also said the same thing - it's not about the individual players, it's how they play together.
then martin keown is a reprobate for saying that - we are often deceived by these footballers who are mostly stark illiterates with shyte intelligence quotient. the only thing they know is to play football. statistics and tactics are beyond them. how can anyone tell me samba/cahill wouldn't improve arsenal? a cheeky bid on shawcross would go a long way in addressing the nonsense in that arsenal defence!

The best that can be hoped for is a back 5 that can take on a run of games together and develop good understanding with each other. That's how defences are built/improve, not by constant chopping and changing due to injuries.
united have taken more hits in their defence than arsenal and nothing seems to affect the way they defend. it's the mentality. fergie tells them - go out there and perform. we have seen berbatov, valencia and carrick in the defence. they won - clean sheet if i may add. why can't wenger get defenders who know what their roles are? per metresacker? in a high line defensive tactics? i cannot make it up. it's like asking yokozuna to sprint with usain bolt!

debosky:
Yakubu only scored ONE legitimate goal in that game. One was offside, two were own goals by other Arsenal defenders, not Per. Instead of doing your usual jumping in midstream without understanding context, try reading next time.
nonsense excuses!
so you mean arsenal defenders just put the ball into the net without the pressure meted by their opponents? you dish more excuses than wenger!

Look at the number of shots on target against Bolton and compare it to previous games and tell me if we were much better going forward than when Torres played. In-fact, against United, we had more shots on goal and only less 2 on target than we did against Bolton. What are you proving?

I am sorry dude but we were not better than when Torres played. We only 17 more passes than we did against WBA.
And as shown in the number of passes against United, you can see the number of passes seem to increase with the less quality in the opposition.

What's the difference? Very simple. On this day, Chelsea turned out to be more clinical with goals.
What's the coincidence? It's the poorest side in the League.

I am not using the stats to prove anything either except the fact that you, at this moment in time, have nothing substantial stats or otherwise, to suggest that team played better without Torres. . . Especially not after one game. I have 6 games of stats to throw that suggestion out.

He has been out of job since then, his wife is not working too with 3 kids to cater for.
Before the service started this morning, we spent 5 to 7 mins together and he let me into a little of what he has been going through and that his 3 kids are yet to resume back to school because they don't have any money to pay their fees.

I encouraged him as a brother to keep praying to God, that only God is capable of pulling him through all this.
But come to think of it, will God come down from heaven to assist this brother in need?
The money in my hands, isn't it God's money?

I am here asking for your advise because I ended up not dropping the tithe and I am still holding on to it hoping to give it to that brother to settle part of his children school fees so they can get back to school.

I would av loved to assist him from another source but wat i av left is not even enof for my monthly transportation cost not to talk of some other needs I am yet to meet.

Candid advise only please.
love your neighbour as yourself is the ultimate law. tithing is also important but helping a neighbour by showing love and care is above tithing.
if i were you, the money meant for the tithe would go to that church brother of yours.
heavens love a giver.

but then, what kind of church is that that the church cannot help one of the sheep in the church.
i know of at least 3 families my church pay their rents here in london for the past 3 years. it's a big church though but the church elders still have to do what they have to do! the offerings and tithes are not burnt on the altar to make sacrifices to the heavens. they are spent to aid gospel and to take care of the congregation.

You are the tool in this forum. Coq's job was to win tackles and he did that well. If a player passes the ball just before Coq tackles him and it results in a goal, you blame the real defenders and not the defensive midfielder. I re-iterate that with all the attackers in front of Coq, he had no business going forward. He excelled at his primary duty
the objective of putting a defensive midfielder in a team is to break up the play. disrupt the flow of the game of the opponents and prevent them from scoring. arsenal lost 1-2 and you are still foolish enough to tell us coquelin excelled at his primary duty? how come he wasn't man of the match and a right back from spurs was adjudged to be the best player on the pitch?
Yea right, stats will prove Modrid had gazillion passes(or is it key passes now),same way stats exnorated Denilson till he was shipped off.But if Modric can not boss a midfield of dire Ramsey and less-inspiring Arteta, then there's no way he should be called world-class.
modric did well considering the useless tactics redknapp deployed.

modric and parker were outnumbered by arsenal's 3 central midfielders. bale was out wide and van der vaart on the flank never even bothered to do any sort of tracking or tackling. see song's goal-assist as reference. but even with that, opta is telling me modric created 2 attempts, had 3 scoring attempts of his own, and won 3/5 tackles. he worked harder than all arsenal midfielders despite being outnumbered!

To be honest, at this rate, Il even thank God for an Europa league finish this season. The only thing that gives me hope for a top 4 finish is that I am almost certain Spurs, Liverpool and MAYBE Chelsea will still drop as many points as we have dropped. Even ManCity will drop MANY points. But like I asked on another page, will Arsenal take advantage?
of course, every team will still drop points but arsenal will drop more than the top teams.
you are yet to go to anfield, britannia, etihad, stamford bridge and many other feisty grounds in the league. the last time i checked, arsenal have not won a league game away from home since april.  grin

Fasting and prayer begins tonight, and I don order pizza already!! ,  Who go chop? send me your postcode, Il mail it to you.
sw6(with immediate alacrity).

I already got my marking scheme. . .the folks you listed are gonna fail with honors.
Add HNIC (head nincompoop in charge) to the list.
I remember how this thread was on transfer-deadline day. They got PMand their defensive worries were over just because he is German.
7 points from 7 games.Europa league form
thanx for bringing this up.
we tried to warn them about per metresacker but they thought we were just pissing about.
koscielny and djourou are better than metresacker - for the useless high line defending arsenal deploy, metresacker is not just the solution.

they need thomas vermaelen and koscielny back asap!
per metresacker should be sent to jamaica to learn how to sprint from usain bolt!
djourou should be sent to nigeria to learn from bright omokaro.

Yeah, wouldn't surprise me too if Spurs get bankrupt/relegated with HR in charge just ask Bournemouth, Southampton and Portsmouth
hahaha. they have that street-smart, astute and shrewd accountant called daniel levy!
with him as chairman, forget it. the only way is up for spurs!

arsenal in the 15th position after 7 league games? grin cheesy
wenger should better prepare for thursday nights next season. it would be nice seeing theo walcott get a run out in europa league fixtures. grin
Modric came good. Were you not wanking Modric's name all along? Modric came good my balls. The next time you compare Modric with Fabregas, you should be shot. Idiota  grin
see this retardo - in the next few hours, statistics would prove modric bested your midfielders one after the other.
redknapp messed up the formation, playing 4-4-2 against a hapless arsenal side. even with that, luka modric killed all arsenal's midfielders. scott parker ate from the remnants and had his belly filled up!

arsenal are shyte and would forever be shyte.
there's a power shift in north london, tottenham have taken over.
continue to w@nk over cesc fabregas who could not win a dime with arsenal and left the ship when the emirates began to sink. grin cesc has moved on, i think you should as well.

i would cut proudly9ja some slack. he is one of the few gooners i really respect on this forum.
he tells it as it is. he never hides. he saw this crisis coming but his comrades said he was a pessimist!

4llerbuntu would have gotten a nod too but he takes general muppetry to another level.
but you see quacks like dupe, deborah, slimshayo, mumuface, etc. . . . .they deserve no pity!

Is it still a derby? The results of recent ties seem not to indicate any competitiveness. . .my anger is that Spurs made it hard to win. They shoulda beaten Arsenal handily.

redknapp panicked with his formation - but modric still came good.
i would post the stats and we shall see how arsenal's golden boys fared!
