"Blackpool have a better attack than Spurs" - Nateevs 2011. I should frame this and show it to your grandchildren, provided they don't inherit your stupidity! grin grin grin

As for midfield:

Lamps Cesc
Essien Wilshere
Mikel        Song
Benayoun        Nasri
Ramires Ramsey
Josh        Rosicky
Romeu             Diaby

Of course only one with the brain-power of a hard-boiled egg would say Chelsea have the best midfield in the league cheesy
arsenal's midfield is better than chelsea. i will take city's midfield over chelsea's as well.

nateevs:
Now correct!
so the number of games lost don't count?
what's laudable about a defence that loses more games than their rivals?
nateevs, it's the combination of those 3 factors. . . . .although, it's usual for the meanest defence to concede the fewest goals, the highest number of clean sheets and lose the fewest number of games.

Strike Tevez's name off that list.He did well for United.
how? by scoring 5 league goals in 29 appearances for man utd in his last season here?
why do you think fergie refused to get him a contract?

As for names,here are a few;
Bellion
Djemba-Djemba
Kleberson
Chris Eagles
Jonathan Greening
Spector
Kanchelskis
Jordi Cryuff
Ronny Johnsen
Mark Bosnich
Nassimo Taibi
Jesper Blomqvist
Keiran Richardson
Add obertan to this list

These players came into United and left and have yet to have any desirable effect in whichever clubs they have played for.
The list is inexhaustible.
you said no player leaves united and make it anywhere else.
i gave you 3 names - do you agree some have left and have made it elsewhere?
do you also agree we need to wait a full season before we judge obertan in another team?

Dude I saw your "only" . . . And yes while it is arguable that it may not be the "only" parameter, how else would you judge it?
By the number of games you win? How then do we judge the best attack? By the fewer goals they concede?
Quit mixing things up dude.
it's a combination of many variables.
--number of goals conceded
--number of games lost
--number of clean sheets.

If a team finishes 10th in the league and the Champions concede 20 more goals than them, which team has the better defence?
see above!

So by your reasoning, in a ten-game sample, If Chelsea concede a goal in each game and lose 10 games over the season.
United on the other hand lose one game, draw 9 but those 9 games ended 4-4 every single time, United will be be considered as having the better defence just because they managed to cop a point in every game.

I can't remember anyone so awful for United.there were Carling cup games and FA Cup games over two seasons for him to make his mark over two seasons.By now Nani shoulda been looking nervously over his shoulders and Giggs should have hung up his boots if he were any good. He's had plenty chances to make his mark and he failed so woefully.
he's never had a run of consecutive games. the thing with united these days is that the error of margin is too minute. if you don't grab your chance within 5 mins of coming on, that's it! because united are expected to win every game. obertan is a skilful player - i will put his ability as the same as welbeck and cleverley. the only difference is welbeck/cleverley have gained a full season premier league experience by going out on loan deals whilst obertan had his arse stuck playing for the reserves.

You don't need to look any further than Tom Cleverley's performance tonight. If Michael Carrick is an honest fellow,he should start worrying about getting a regular starting berth.
after playing 1 full season for watford and another full season with wigan athletic - you should expect cleverley to be more developed than obertan.
in terms of footie skills, obertan is electric.

The Hulls, sunderlands, blacburns of this world are of lower standards. For me if you aren't good at United, you probably wo't be good anywhere else. You'll just be a local champ at small-fry clubs.

This Lateef guy is high o.
LOL
Was Owen a regular starter for United last season or why do you think I mentioned Chicharito?
lateef is high on weed!
it will take another 7 days before his head clears.
had chicharito started, then one would understand berbatov wasn't rested cos hernandez is preferred to him. . . . .but in the absence of hernandez, in a competitive game against city, no chance welbeck would get a nod ahead of berbatov.

nateevs:
You are the one concluding that Welbeck played instead of Berbatov.
In Fergie's mind, that's bollocks. You can argue Owen could have started ahead of Welbeck.
Was Owen rested too?
in the absence of hernandez, the second slot is for grabs.
the preference then will be berbatov, owen, welbeck.

owen wasn't on the bench which leaves berbatov only as the lottery winner.
but welbeck started. even at 2-2, if you have any brains in your head - don't you think ferguson would have brought on berbatov in the 70th minute?
fergie didn't - he brought him on with a minute to go when everyone knows there's no 30 mins extra time in community shield game.
if that does not mean he's resting an older berbatov for the league game next week sunday then i have nothing else to say to you.

Oya last chance for all you Mancs to withdraw this drivel before I rain on y'all.
giggs was rested, berbatov was rested. they are now the oaps of the squad
even rio/vidic only played 45 mins - would that happen in a normal league game?
