duduspace:nope! you are getting it wrong. youth policy is what it simply means, youth policy. nurturing home grown talents to develop in the club's academy so they can understand the ethos of the club at a very young age. because young talents are easier to steal on the continent for english clubs, smart premier league managers spread their tentacles to catch the half-developed youths in spain, italy, holland, etc before these boys are due for a professional contract in their respective home countries. if these players spend 3 yrs(the required number of years in the club academy in england), then they are the products of that academy. in walcott's case, he's a product of southampton's academy. he never passed through arsenal's academy. cesc fabregas spent around 12 months in arsenal's academy. it's like a student who had completed ss-one and ss-two in a school, then changed school and completed ss-three in the new school, so you would say fab4 is a partial-product of arsenal's academy and so on and forth. the age these players joined the academy is not the key. the real mccoy is whether they completed the necessary three years in the academy before graduating into the senior team. The major point I'm trying to help yu see is that it is wrong to label Owusu Abeyie a failure of the Arsenal youth/young professional policy or whatever yu choose to call it and refuse to label Cesc Fabregas a success of that same policy when they both arrived at London Colney at the age of 16 with the difference between them being that one had been dropped by his previous club due to attitude problems while the other had just being named the Golden Player in both UEFA and FIFA youth competitions. You either say both are not Arsenal youth players and start to judge the Arsenal youth policy from Wilshere/Lansbury/Gibb's set or accept that both are products of the same policy with one being a success and the other a failure.owusu abeyie and fabregas are both failure of wenger's epileptic youth policy. the reason is simple: they have not won anything under wenger. wilshere/lansbury and gibbs remain to be seen if they will turn arsenal's fortunes around but it's not looking likely. wenger's youth policy has failed. yes, few talents have come out of his academy but the policy has failed to return just one trophy since wenger started plucking youths all over the continent. |
edicolove:useless, shameless, disgraceful, pathetic, idiotic and moronic bunch of journalists. anyone going there to find some credible must also be retarded - this is about the 100th time these plonkers at saharareporters will manipulate news reports to create sensationalism and gullible nigerians believe whatever they can feed on the internet. i expect somebody to throw the book at sahara reporters very soon. get their editor-in-chief and lock him up with clifford orji in jail. |
honeric01:they played more than very well. i wonder why the super eagles don't move the ball with pace like these youngsters. . . .but they are a liability in the defence. very vulnerable to set-pieces but that dude uche nwofor is the new torres. he came on as a substitute and took the croatians to the cleaners with smart positional play. musa and kayode were also very good but time will tell later in the competition. for now, the boys are doing me proud. |
Exactly what i'm trying to find out since most of these cassava by-products like akpu and garri are produced by the local women.so who's monitoring them to ensure that it's properly done.meanwhile, nigerians are eating it and they are not dying. So who ensure standards in all these ?
we can as well assume local women in nigeria don't wash their butts after defecating because no one ensures it's probably done. the women know what to do, and they clean it properly - call the women in your village and ask if unwashed cassava will not kill an entire village if eaten raw. |
With water ? Is water enough to remove toxin from a fermenting cassava ?
yes, lots of water will remove the toxins. |
dayokanu:benzema - waste pipe ibrahimovic - underachiever canavaro - nonsense zambrotta - another nonsense casillas 0- underachiever |
So how is that raw cassava ibos eat prepared ? Do they cook it or they have a special chemical to remove the toxins in it ?
it has been properly cleaned |
redsun:so you are comparing yourself to a domestic animal now? ![]() |
Ibos eat raw cassava but they don't die.Is their DNA made to detoxicate the poison ?
if you eat cassava that isn't properly cleaned, you will die. it's as simple as that. it's like arguing some people screw around without condoms, why don't they get infected? they have to screw someone with hiv then we will know the score. |

dayokanu:since 2004, champions league matters in the days of ronaldo lima, baggio and gascoigne - playing for the national team was far more important than playing for the club. but since the era of foreign ownership and billionaires throwing all kinds of cash to football clubs, playing for the club now takes more importance than playing for the national team. dayo, get used to the modern era. nani will not play with players who have never experienced winning the champions league before. schweini - nope, nil robben - will never win anything in the continental level. neuer - conceded 6 goals to nani's team barely 4 months ago. muller - mu-who? try mu-tual. ribery - never won anything in europe(elite or sub-elite) |
debosky:same as oshea's constancy in the winning teams of man utd in the last 4 seasons. ![]() i heard you perfectly. congratulations. https://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lj5oi8Q8vp1qegl6s.gif in miguel, arsenal have found a new vidic. wenger has discovered gold at last. ![]() |
naijababe:i forgot to add pascal cygan. ![]() |
dayokanu:how many champions league finals have those nazis played in their respective careers? now compare with nani whose current team-mates has played 3 times in a champions league final in the last 4 seasons and whose team has won the premier league(the toughest league) in the world 4 times in the past 5 seasons. nani is too good for bayern. this is a non-story. ![]() if nani joins bayern, i will eat cyanide and post the video on youtube. the only man utd player who can consider bayern munich is bebe or gibson. |
naijababe:ok ma'am. ![]() gallas, gilberto, silvestre, squillaci, campbell, eduardo(all part of the youth policy) ![]() debosky:evidence, please. ![]() any link to player ratings, etc ? |
kizito96:not entirely true. soyinka's protest was the loudest during the abacha regime. |
dayokanu:cesc, hleb, almunia, nasri, diaby, adebayor, gallas, gilberto - they are all products of the youth policy. ![]() how many of them still play for arsenal? arsenal have the highest employee turnover in the history of football association. no stability at all. |
redsun:so you should never argue that cassava can kill. it depends on how it's prepared! |
dayokanu:bayern? nani? why would nani go to a grade-b league like bundesliga? |
redsun:made of cleaned fermented raw cassava. |
duduspace:arsenal sank years ago with their youth policy. the sinking was so epic it puts titanic's tragedy to shame. ![]() |
jumobi1:al-mustafa is one of them. he understands their modus operandi. it's like expecting c.t.u.agents to kill jack bauer(24). . . . .abiola was a civilian. what does he know? he wouldn't smell a rat if you show him guinea-pig. |
debosky:did he do it by himself/star performer or one of the lucky uns to be in a trophy winning squad a la cesc(2010 world cup + euro 2008)? ![]() |
redsun:Ironically, one of the plant’s chemicals that make it so hardy also poisons humans if care is not taken before consuming it. The problem with cassava is that the leaves and roots of the plants contain linamarin which when consumed can cause the production of cyanide in the body if the plants are not processed correctly. This is more of a problem when there is a famine and the plants are not cleaned, dried, boiled or baked properly in the rush to get this food source to starving people. The plant should not be eaten raw. Another issue contributing to the improper processing is the short shelf-life of the plant. The plant must be processed quickly. |
redsun:don't be ignorant. cassava contains cyanide and if not processed well is more potent than a cobra's venom. if the whole nigeria eats from the cassava, everyone would die. |
mbulela:what makes you think he died a natural death? if abiola wasn't in prison, his death wouldn't have been suspicious. abacha suddenly died in the company of indian sluts. is that even comprehensible? nigeria: i hail thee. if the lives of important personalities can be snuffed like cigarette butts, what is the hope of the common man in that country? and yet we wonder why people are ready to take bribes in nigeria. sometimes, the bribery is forced. it's either you take the money or die. not taking bribe is seens as non-compliance. careytommy:i will give that to him. he has to be the most intelligent military brass i have seen or heard. his eloquence is second to none. his intelligence will rival einstein's and i don't expect him not to have a backdoor route he intends to use to avoid the book being thrown at him. at the same time, he's a man with nothing to lose. people like him in this situation don't shy away from the truth cos they know they are screwed either way. |
presido1:nadeco men were bunch of criminals. . . . . . .they all sought after their fat bellies - they didn't care a jot about the people who sacrificed themselves for the june 12 mandate in 93. |
naijababe:abdusalam covered his arse very well - he won't be found guilty. that autopsy by the americans pretty much sealed and signed his innocence. i bet they pondered over the future of nigeria then that the only way to ensure peace was to get rid of the two warring factions(abiola vs abacha). had abiola died in detention under abacha's stewardship, nigeria would have disintegrated. . . . . .so they took abacha out first. |
naijababe:abdusalam has the backing of the white house. he won't be touched. the autopsy then cleared his government of any foul-play. . . . . .that alone is enough to protect him and people will remember him as one of the few honest military men that handed over to a democratic elected president. shawonlese:useless female judge. by the time they play those vhs tapes in the next sitting - it would be the video of lions mating in the wild jungle of kenya. they would doctor that video to render the evidence useless. |
dayokanu:the more reason why this story is believeable. . . . . the others died as a result of the secrets they know(they were possibly killed by the same people). . . . .mustafa has been in jail for 11 yrs, they cannot reach him to slaughter, the others could be reached to kill. i have always suspected bola ige's especially post-abiola's death. . . . . .he went from power minister to attorney general. dining with the beasts of that government then. but then, abiola didn't cover himself in glory if you take a long look at all the coup d'etats he has sponsored in nigeria. it's a case of give and take but backstabbing abiola whilst deceiving the entire population that june 12 mandate should prevail is a felony against the state. if this is true, then bola ige killed with the sword and died by the gun. Sun of god:ibb is too intelligent to be caught in such fuckery. . . . . . . .there was a pact between him and abacha to take a back seat - reasons why ibb couldn't make abiola the president in 1993. as i was told by a top military brass - that pact was formed during the orka coup of 1990. it was abacha's loyal troops that saved ibb from orka's men in dodan barracks. an agreement was reached that day that the next ruler of nigeria must be general abacha. |
Outstrip:some people are murderers and some people are law abiding, i should get over that as well? if i may. . . . .are you a tool? |
