This is a ritualistic act, a cold blooded murder done by a man who fully knew what he was doing. the man is insane. . . . .his actions were that of a psychopath, near-cannibalistic and depraved. the fact that he didn't even try to conceal his crime by running around the neighbourhood with a bloodied shirt proves to me he is out of his mind. the whole ritual angle is bullshyte. . . .he wasn't running around the neighbourhood with any body organs or caught with the human skull. . . let's get something straight. . . . .if this was a pre-mediated murder. . . .this man would have concealed the body and sneaked out of his premises without arousing any suspicion. their neighbours heard nothing when the crime was being committed. . . nothing could have stopped this man from wrapping the dead body in a carpet locked in the trunk of his car. . . . |

gohome: Nice point bro especially on the US and Canada options. But you have to understand some things.
At this point with the information we have and where the information is coming from, This woman you accused of orchestrating this can be i completely innocent ii Partially innocent iii completely fraudulent
Completely innocent (proof)
It is common knowledge for women to take fertility drugs in Nigeria. They do this to aid conception and not to boost it. She obviously did not plan to give birth to five kids. she planned to give birth to one. The media is making you think otherwise. let me quote the dailymail, Bimbo Ayelabola, 33, applied for a six-month visitor's visa soon after discovering she was pregnant, travelling to the UK without her husband to visit her three sisters.
would she have known she had five kids in her soon after she discovered she was pregnant, obviously not. which means, she probably thought of just having a baby or two just like any other person and pay the bills just like any other person. But the unexpected happened. The babies were 5 and they were premature. they had to go into a complex Cesarean op and the babies were treated in a special-care unit, where the cost of a week’s stay for the family would be £35,000 alone. Normal procedures do not warrant special care unit. With 3 sisters in the UK and a civil engineer as a husband she knew those kids aren't going to get citizenship. at least before she applied for the visa. This clearly rule out any false motive of obtaining a visa. so what then was her '' manipulative motive'' I see none. In Stories like this each case should be reviewed on an individual basis, without the knee-jerk reactionism and mis-placed jingoism that sadly seems to always accompany these things.
If you are still in doubt of the possibility of this ladies innocence I will recommend you to read the innocent man. Its a true life story written by Gris ham. Also look at the case for the formal IMF chief (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/06/nyregion/still-a-case-for-trying-strauss-kahn.html and see how a case can transcend from Complete guilt to partial guilt or complete innocence
I hope the above will help you understand why i said you should assume she is a US citizen which in most case is innocent until proven guilty and not Nigerian which in your case is guilty as charge by the media
As for partially innocent and completely fraudulent, you should fill the lines better judge. well said and articulately laid out. . . . only a complete lunatic will still believe this woman came to the united kingdom to scrounge the system. . . . |

Pafuri: "Paddy", sounds soooo civilized. Well, Paddy, in case you didn't know, your name is a derivation of Patrick. It is how the illiterate Irish pronouces "Patrick". Such an African you are! So what's wrong with names like Mandela, Oyewo, Kosi, Arugbo, niGhana, Kolawole, Uche, Mei Ruwa, Oyewo, Akpor, So-Bata, Kwakwu, Simidele, Agwu, Bankole, Abacha, Odoyewu, Isi-Ewu, Ibrahim, Etsu Nupe, Mamofo, Masitha, Dan Maraya Jos, Ishola, Oyenusi, Osita, Osadebe, Babatunde, Folorunsho, or even Pafuri/. Your name is such a shame! this is outrageous. . . . . . i hope you are aware paddy's father himself is named mike(michael) so i don't see how patrick as a name is a shame. sandee575: The mention of Dangote has compelled me to agree that humility and arrogance are by the nature of the individual. Dangote was so ordinary at the airport the other day, i mistook him for one of the mallams changing currencies there. compare like for like. paddy adenuga is still a young chap. don't compare him to a family man like aliko dangote!! |

LadyT: No sure who you are trying to convince here. But she's a fraud because she obtained a visitors visa with the sole aim of coming here on a permanent basis. She's a fraud because it costs a lot of money to obtain a visa and buy a ticket. This is probably not her first time in the UK it was all planned. she did not come here with the sole aim of coming here to stay permanently. she came here with the aim of having a child. if she had delivered one or twins, there wouldn't have been this kind of outcry. arabs, europeans, etc all come here every time to have their babies - it has never been an issue. if this woman had cleared her bills, you wouldn't have heard about this case. . . . .but no average family will cough out £200k on medical bills. . .it's not just feasible. Who said it will cost 50million in nigeria or any other African country with good health care. You cannot compare pounds to naira. Are you telling me other people have not had multiple births in nigeria and it cost millions she said she has suffered several miscarriages in nigeria before deciding to come to england. who are you to argue? she got a valid visa, travelled on a valid passport and got into the united kingdom. she was due to deliver and she ended up with 5 kids - something she couldn't have planned. She clearly stated all her family are here who can help her raise her kids. this is neither here nor there. family or no family, this woman did not plan to have 5 kids and scrounge the system. no one can be that devious at the expense of her life and her children. yes, she had taken fertility pills but by the same token, she had also risked infant mortality rate with her multiple births. To me the level of emotion people are displaying is over the top. I suggest we all look at the facts nope, you people are the ones with emotional issues just because she's nigerian. if she was american, you would believe her tales line hook and sinker. but you guys have been so brainwashed that any nigerian in the uk without a residence permit is a potential criminal looking for ways to scrounge the system. it's pathetic! |

islamrules: I have never discuss any of my personal issues on nairaland, bcuz based on my experience on this site, at the end of the day, you wont get any answer. What you get is insults and attacks. But, this issue is burning my heart day-in-day-out. There is this gal of mine I thought of basing my life on. I deflowered when she was 18 years (2 years ago and I am 25 now). Ever since, we have agreed to nurture our relationship to marriage level. And, we have been trying to keep it. Last month (Bad Sunday), I caught her red handed with my neighbor who is in his 5o’s Being Intimate with her when his family was away for church service (somebody that is as old as my father and is married with 3 children. One of his children is 18 years old as old as my gal). I came back from church early and I saw her coming out of their apartment sweating and breathing heavily and with a strange odor coming out of her body (she came to my house when I was in the church, and I was not even expecting her that day. I was shocked to see her in my house without any notice). She was shocked when we met. I quickly sensed what has happened. I called her and she panicked and started rushing to the toilet, I followed her, grasp her hands drag her to my room. And I asked her, but it was too glaring cuz her tight was wet with Fluid dripping from her “blahblah”. (What annoyed me most was they didn’t use condom. Women are reckless; if she gets pregnant she will claim its mine). She saw my eyes and confessed that the man tricked her (weeping seriously). She gave me a rooster and bull story that, he sent her to buy him a soap and when she came back to deliver the soap that the man descended on her and that she was afraid to shout because of shame and trouble it will cause between me and the man, she promised not to do it again and that she will be careful with him. Last week, I went to her house to visit her mother, she was’nt at home,I waited for her for 5 hours. I left, when I could no longer wait. On my way home, just a stone throw from her house, I saw her coming out of this man's car joking and laughing with this man (I quickly sensed they are using Hotels or somewhere hidden) I waited for her and confronted her, she just ignored me. On getting home I saw a text message on my phone telling me "never in my life should I call her again" I made up my mind and forget about her (It wasnt easy but I did, cuz I had no choice).
Last friday my mother called that she came visiting her, that infact she washed her cloth and did all her Job and since then she has started begging again, still pleading and begging till this time on my facebook, SMS, email.
For the 50 years old man, I have a plan for him. I have toasted her daughter and she has agreed (We were both interested in each other before. In fact she expected me to make the move, but I didnt bcuz we are leaving in the same building, I feel its improper). But now, I will "f*****ck" hell out of her and impregnate her. If she claims its mine I will reject it but I will admit Being Intimate with her, so that that useless man can feel it too. But, regarding my gal, I am confused, do I take her back? She is just disgusting to me now… seduce the old man's daughter - impregnate her if possible dump your girlfriend - send her a dead foetus on the next valentine's day. |

kalokalo: While I agree that deliberate state policy encourages ingenuity, it is only an added bonus. Necessity, they say, is the mother of ingenuity. There are lots of things that we lack in Nigeria that a creative mind can solve.
An example, is the fact that foreigners are the ones that made a machine to pound yam for us. That is is for a product that is indigenous to Nigeria which a Nigerian engineer could have dreamt up.
We are still shelling egusi seeds with our bare hands when a jobless engineering graduate can put his brain to work to create an egusi shelling maching and become a millionaire selling his products while creating jobs and a whole new industry.
That is how foreign technology giants are birthed. Companies like Boeing, Honda, Dell, Guinness, Ford, Yamaha, Cad-bury, Pfizer, Lockheed, DuPont etc are the names of individuals who started from small bursts of ingenuity. We can do it too if we believe in ourselves!
Warren Buffet once said that they are two kinds of people: Those who believe they can do anything and those who believe they can't. Guess what, they are both right!! you are talking bollocks, i am afriad. first things first. . . . .i don't even think we are producing enough science and engineering students at the top level. half of undergraduate degrees in china, singapore and japan are awarded in science/engineering. the few brilliant students nigeria produce still seek greener pastures abroad to further their education and they rarely come back to nigeria cos their level of skills can never be appreciated in nigeria. however you look at it, it's the government that is screwing nigeria engineers up. |

duduspace: Not sure about this recent rumor but if its from John Cross, then there is likely some truth in it, the degree to which the media has twisted it though should rightly be questioned. There has always been a rumor around those in the know at the emirates that Diaby's leg never really fully healed after the horrible tackle he suffered in the 06/07 season and that he's never been able to play for a consistently long period without some complaint flaring up on his ankle hence the reason for his frequent visit to the Physios and the reason for his furious reaction to Barton's tackle at the time as well as Arsene's disgust at Shawcross's tackle on Ramsey. It is one of the reasons why I think Wenger is going for Ricky Alvarez as competition/Backup possibly with Ramsey also coming into the frame. If any of Cesc or Nasri leaves we should rightly expect like for like replacements. fufuface, what's your prediction for next season? you have told us time n time again the arsenal model is the best and that wenger's young uns are about to mature and chase the money-bags out of the top spot. is that plan still in progress or were you just telling porkies? |
