LadyT:how did she know what she was doing? if it's that simple, get your partner to knock you up and deliver quintuplets. . . . the woman might have flown to england to deliver a child. there's no way she would have known she would be delivering 5 babies at a time. she's not her own creator and she is not a fraud. if the state can support a senseless war in libya and afghanistan, let them support that woman and her 5 babies. |
debosky:the truth and nothing but the truth! |
0lumide:you cannot have a british passport and an american passport. . . .you will be asked to choose one and drop the other. no single individual has both. |
qleyo:what's your point exactly? this woman did not commit any crime. . . . .it was not her own making she gave birth to quintuplets. what means are we talking about here? |
Sagamite:i am sure the man actually went back to his place of work in nigeria. those babes were delivered 2 months ago. the man must have taken few days leave and he had to return to his work. i don't think the man fled because he wanted to avoid the bills. the british media were just making it look ugly. |
justwise:well. . . .if people keep saying the woman came to the uk deliberately to scrounge the system then the uk border agency should lock out pregnant women from coming to the uk. it's as simple as that! |
carlinks:i have answered that in the first page. . . . . there's justification for it. half of the relationships you see out there are not different from prostituting. man meets girl, man spends on girl, man beds girl. what's the difference? |
justwise:the media can feck off to where the sun don't shine. if a british woman had quintuplets outside the shores of this island, they would never report it that her husband fled because he couldn't pay the fees. what advantage has knowing about the issue added to your value? i just see this as media sensationalism. the media must be bored for this to make front page. They have the right to complain about how pple abuse their health system, if u don't like it then take your complain to our thieving politicians and not British media. You don't sh&ag LovePeddlers but you read this story from sun or daily mail?how did the woman get to the uk? did she spirit herself in? why wasn't she denied an entry visa to the uk if they knew she was pregnant. this woman did not abuse their system. their security cocked up! pure plain and simple and since i am an humanitarian, i'd rather my taxes pay this woman's bills than the losers who queue for giro every week and use it to smoke 'caine and heroin. |
debosky:this is why many think arsenal fans have no nous. . . . i still can't understand why many of you lots are pushing the panic buttons. . . . there are still 58 days before the transfer window slams shut. so clichy moved on and so what? he was berated here all season for his lack of concentration. . . . .many even wanted him out as far back as january. . . .now that he's gone, gaynners are gnashing teeth as if clichy won their player of the season. . . na deborah i pity. . . .if i were you, i would leave these pages and let the unbelievers have a field day criticizing wenger's approach this summer. |
upendo 98:i thought robin hood became a legend doing that. rob from the rich n give to the needy. it's a charitable cause. ![]() |
justwise:it's just for you to use your common-sense. if you were based in nigeria and your wife is having her babies here. . . . .how many days leave can you possibly take from work to come and assist her here? this woman has been here in england 2 months after her delivery and the pathetic british media expect the husband to stay here and neglect his work/source of income in nigeria. . . .is that reasonable? secondly, there's no way this woman could have known she was having 5 kids when she left nigeria. if you have a missus, ask her. . . .yes, the woman planned to have her baby here and if she delivered just a child, the bills wouldn't rack up to £200k. . . .the bills were high because she had 5 kids + caesarian section + intensive care unit. i dunno how you can sit down there and say the woman had it planned all along. it's pathetic. naijababe:the only people who read daily mail and the sun are losers who drive white vans and who shag prostitutes! |
justwise:your ignorance on these pages is peerless. how could she have known she was going to have quintuplets before she came to england? you guys are media whores - you just swallow whatever crap the media serve on your table. the woman was only concerned about the safety of her pregnancy - and she flew to england to ensure she was in a calm environment rather than the chaotic environment of nigeria. she didn't know she would deliver 5 babies and the nonsense about her husband running away back to nigeria are porkies. the husband probably took few days leave from work in nigeria to come assist his wife. it's only natural for him to go back to work now that the babies are safe. trust the british media to twist that in such a way that the husband fled to nigeria because he doesn't want to pay for the costs. |
upendo 98:i don't use prostitutes, just holding a brief for the men who do. . . . . now to your points. . . . .this is not about dating a worthwhile lady, it's about lying to women up and down the city and using them for sex. not every man can handle such guilt of building castles in the air for their dates knowing fully well the relationship is a dead end when all they really wanted is to sleep with her. i'm guessing an encounter with a prostitute is a straightforward transaction. i give her cash, i get sex. what it doesn’t involve is all the emotional rubbish you get from women, even if it’s a quick pick-up in a night club when you barely know each other . you wake up the next morning and there’s that awful embarrassment - "will I see you again?” then you have to lie as you get out of there as fast as you can, and you feel bad, no matter how many times you have done it. with prostitutes, there's none of that. you don't have to worry about her going all psycho on you cos what happened was strictly business. |
manny4life:stop being an ignoramus - she is not an illegal immigrant. she came into the country with a valid document. the pregnancy delayed her from going back and even if she had tried, no airline would have allowed her on board. justwise:so she planned it that she would have 5 babies? she is that intelligent to know she was coming to the united kingdom to deliver quintuplets? let me have what you are smoking, mr justwise. ![]() |
upendo 98:oh please. . . . .there are many reasons men pay for sex apart from the usual wham-bam ish and the hiv and the diseases are rampant in normal relationships as well. why do today's men pay for sex? majority of them want to experiment oral or anal and since their girlfriends/partners at home won't do it, they pay to get it elsewhere. think about it, who benefits more when a man meets a woman in the traditional way if all he wants is sex? the money, time and grief you can get from dating women in a big city is just not worth the hassle unless you are really into the girl. is it not more honest to ring up a brass and arrange a session where you both know the score than tell some girl in a bar or off a dating site a load of rubbish to get her into bed? women would go mad if they knew a man slept with a prostitute, but they also hate it when the men use them just for sex. which is better? |
190:your self-control mechanism should be activated as soon as you see one. . . . however, if you are really into prostitutes, then go ahead and have them as you wish. i can understand why any man would do such in this current climate. ![]() |
190:you don't have to buy everything you see in the market. . . . .if ladies walk into your office to sell their bodies and you look the other way, i doubt they will force you to do what you didn't intend. . . . .i have nothing against prostitution. . . .it's business as usual and i support the men who go for them 100%. they are even cleaner than the regular girlfriends you keep, mr 190. |
carlinks:there's nothing wrong with prostitution. if there's no demand, there would be no services to render. |
dayokanu:how so? the same juande ramos' team that battered arsenal 5-1 in the carling cup tie? United have always been better than Arsenal even before people started spending money, So blaming money for Uniteds dominance is redundantwell. . . .the money united had spent in the period wenger joined arsenal was more than what arsene spent. so it holds true that united were more dominant than arsenal back then and you still have mourinho's chelsea that were the best team in the whole of europe. Barcelona were also bigger spenders than Valencia in that time, They spent millions on Rivaldo, Giovanni, Sonny Anderson, Riquelme, Quaresma, Rochemback, plus the Dutch crew of Kluivert, Cocu, De Boers, Bogarde, Reiziger etc didnt come cheapbarcelona were rubbish in 2000-2002. it was valencia that played in the champions league final 2 yrs in a row and getting beat by real madrid and bayern munich. valencia had a very good team under hector cuper. . . .the microcosm of what barcelona are these days. In Europe based on spendings City, Chelsea and Madrid should be rotating the CL in between themselveswe are talking about the league - not the champions league!! besides, in the last 12 months, the clubs you have mentioned above have all won at least one domestic cup. . . .which goes to show money is everything and it's not the root of evil like people think. |
dayokanu:they had a good team then but was managed by a lummox known as juande ramos. look at their team then. . . .they had berbatov, keane, defoe, ledley king, woodgate, etc. even if we take out tottenham as a force. . . . .you still have man utd and chelsea. so can arsenal win a league title knowing united and chelsea play in the same competition? If thats the excuse then that is pathetic, Valencia won the league despite Madrid spending like crazy in the Galacticos era, Man Utd have won titles despite Chelsea spending anyhow.valencia won the league because they only had madrid to contend with then. . . .when arsenal had only man utd to contend with, they won several titles. the title drought coincided with when roman brought mourinho to chelsea. so arsenal had 2 solid teams to contend with and it's almost impossible to have 2 massive teams having an abysmal season. Yet Mr wenGAY comes here to serve us Bull once againarsenal are where they should actually be. anyone expecting them to do better than they are doing belongs to the world of harry porter. fans should be realistic. naijababe:he keeps bringing in the kiddos because that is the measure of arsenal's strength. roman went on a spree in january, squandered £71 million on torres and david luiz. . . .have arsenal ever spent that amount in 3 transfer windows put together before? these are the issues. man city have been spending like a rich fat kid in a burger shop. . .dzeko, david silva, balotelli, yaya toure, etc. . . how much do you think those guys cost? did city groom them from their academy? how do you then compete with another club who have the financial muscle to bully in the transfer market and attract quality players with handsome wage packets? maybe arsene wenger should get ijebu jazz to lure players to the emirates. your criticism will be justified if the teams above arsenal are picking players from their academy like arsene does and are winning. other than that, y'all are just harry porter fans. ![]() Arsenal's season has ended around the end of February/ Early March for the last 5 seasons.and this is because arsenal's strength cannot match the likes of man utd, chelsea, tottenham and man city. you cannot expect to drive skoda saloon and travel as fast as drivers cruising on ferrari, bugatti and lamborghini. arsenal might beat chelsea, man utd and tottenham in a league game or two but the league is a 38-match competition and theor true strength will prevail in the course of a season. Heck! I am not even against that if that's what we want to do as a club, but saying that we challenge for titles is just nonsense.define the term "challenging for titles"? |
language not difficult but there's no need to learn it unless you want to. . . learn how to cook his food. . . .he shouldn't be doing it himself. the tradition in africa is that the woman should be in the kitchen. |
dayokanu:and there were chelsea, man utd, liverpool and tottenham in that period? so what were arsenal's chances with these 4 teams? |
Katy86:well. . . . . .since you are german, no one would really expect you to understand the language. if there's going to be any criticism at all, it will be on your partner so you have nothing to worry about. you can learn the language at your own pace if you so wish. . . .there are other things you should worry about other than the language barrier. . . .learn how to cook his native food - and no one will bother you about his language. |
naijababe:how is this a mistake? let's first accept wenger punches above his weight by even staying in the top 4 every season. if we look at it financial wise - man utd, arsenal, man city, tottenham and liverpool have spent more money than arsenal in the last six seasons. let's be honest here, wenger is doing an herculean task season after season and yet we expect him to beat money-bags like chelsea and man city. The are always in the title race till April? Are we talking about the same team here? The same Arsenal whose season always seem to end in Februaryi cannot remember the last time wenger's team isn't in the title race in april or playing in the semis in at least one domestic competition every season. that is competing in my own opinion. arsenal fans cannot have it both ways. if we accept 5 teams have outspent arsenal in the last 6 seasons, how do you then expect arsenal to beat the lots and win the league title?. this is like expecting a cathode ray tube television to produce clearer images than the liquid crystal display tv! |
naijababe:it is to challenge for trophies and no one can deny arsenal haven't challenged for trophies in the last 6 seasons they have been barren. there was never a season arsenal surrendered the fight months before the prizes were shared. they always make the semis in the domestic cup competitions and they are always in the title race till april(at least). |
majoroller:he can be mobbed, kidnapped, robbed or even shot . . . . . if you walk in his shoes, you will understand. i don't have any problem with anyone taking extra security measures to protect himself. such is the state of the country. imagine if kidnappers manage to get their hands on paddy adenuga, their ransom will be well over 20 billion naira. ordinary nkem owoh was sweated to pay 50 million naira. the behaviour of his bodyguards is what we should be talking about not the reasons why he hired them. |
norrisman:you lack cognitive reasoning. . . . go to the nigerian house here in the united kingdom and tell me how many met. police officers you can count there - the answer is none! first off, the country is safe enough so there's no need to even put security personnel @ the nigerian house. secondly, the embassy is like a country on it's own and they are supposed to provide their own security. the british high commision in nigeria is united kingdom in nigeria. . . .but knowing how pathetic our system is and coupled with the fact that hiring a dozen british cops to stand outside will cost them more than having 6 battalions of nigerian police officers providing the security, the high commision opted for the latter. . . . .there's no dpg in the nigerian house. . . .na ndubusi, oghene, hassan and adekola(pure nigerians) dey do security for there! |
Katy86:where are you from and where is your partner from? |
halfcurrent:wherever he is from, they should all be shamed. i still don't know why the nigerian youths don't have a voice in nigeria. instead of spending cash on importing cars from america, there should be a media house for the youths to make their voices heard. issues like this should be on the front-page with the caption "nysc d-g/police i-g are mass murderers". when you shame them like that, they will sit up or pack up. |
lepasharon:that wasn't her intention. . . . .her intention was to ensure the safe delivery of her babies. after suffering from several miscarriages, the last thing on her mind is citizenship. |
proO1:it is not a big deal. . . . . even private organizations like banks and finance houses use police escorts to transport their money from place to place. this is nigeria not the united states or the united kingdom where security outfits are £5 a dozen. where have you ever seen private security firms in nigeria who are tasked to carry fire-arms and ammunition? only the nigerian police can offer that kind of protection unless you want mike adenuga to hire foreign security firms to protect his son. nigerians love to sensationalize small issues. go to the british high commision and see the number of mobile police-men loitering around protecting the diplomats there. are they not government-employed security forces? do you see stuffs like that in the edifices of the uk border agency here? using government-employed security forces to protect rich people in nigeria did not start today. politicians have been using them since lord lugard visited the shores of this country. i have also used them to curb area boys in private parties in lagos. that is what you get when you have a lawless country like nigeria where the security of lives and properties is non-existent! |
