chamotex: So we lost because Rooney didn't play?
we lost because moyes was shyte. rooney played against everton & we lost. the team was begging for a tactical change from the 50th minute. anderson for jones would have made pardew bring in a defensive player to counter such moves.

all we need is goals. 2 goals down against city in the community shield, fergie took out his defensive-minded boys & brought on the goal-hungry ones. what's a manager still protecting with a goal down at home?

RuuDie: Maybe if you took time to really comprehend, you'd realise we are saying two different things... I never said or insinuated that there was nothing wrong with the side. I have only been maintaining all through that we can still win the ligue - and to tell you how serious I am, I can put my money on it!
the only league we can win right now is on PS4.
Tearing things apart doesn't mean "sacking" all the players. All he needsis his own players becoming the nucleus of the team.
what did is own players achieve at everton? please let's call a spade what it is & quit the sentiments. if moyes is managing arsenal, bendtner will get more games than ozil. he's too negative - his coaching methods are pre-dinosauric.

You and i know Moyes WILL NOT BE SACKED.That's not the United way.We may continue to blame Moyes, but some of the players have been hell-awful this season.Evra a prime example.
don't be too sure - he has lost the dressing room. the players don't believe in him. rio criticised his team news methods - the players know who is playing just like we do(on twitter).

Plus this team need a bit of luck too,i can not remember how many times they struck the bar in the last 2 games.
there's no luck in football - what you put in is what you get. at stalemate, pardew wanted it more & introduced an attacking player - he got 3 points just for that single decisive move. had moyes made that kinda change before pardew, who knows what might have happened?

players hitting the post is also about their mental preparedness. if you dunno you are writing ACCA until one hour before the exam, how are you meant to do well in the exam? moyes has no clue, he's not built to play attacking football. he takes draws even before the ball is kicked against useless teams like cardiff.

we have only scored 3 open play goals at OT this season. think about it. 8 home games & we have 8 league goals to show for it. that's not down to the players, it's moyes!!!! the glazers won't sit around & watch scottish solidarity ruin their investment.

montelik: Moyes and his backroom staffs over focus on solidity though is dulling the spark of all our players, even the flair ones.

A paltry 8 goals at O.T and some think the problem is being solid and grinding against visiting teams.
that's life, isn't it?
if one aims low, he finds himself lower. if one aims high, he finds himself in the middle ground. a team known for his strong attacking football are now forced to play lethargic zombies in the midfield so as not to lose.

i don't care how bad our defence is - if moyes had thrown all his attacking options at pardew at half time, pardew would have withdrawn to his shell. however, it was pardew that made the first chess move while gollum sat down there like a jaundiced patient. so of what essence is jones in the midfield?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 3:56pm On Dec 07, 2013
Newcastle scored and Pardew didn't prepare to lock things up in the middle.Matter of fact,he brought in Ameobi when Cabaye was injured.Sums it all up what opposition manager/team thinks of United now.

This team lacks confidence and you can tell from the players' body language even when they were a goal down.No urgency shown by any of the lad.

Moyes may have to break things down and tear the team apart,as apparently these present set of player are not playing for him.
unfortunately, the players are the assets, not the manager. you cannot sack a squad of 30 players for a manager, you can only sack the manager for the players. the marriage is not working - the decision makers at old trafford must act now or lose out in the lucrative money-spinning champions league next season.

chelsea sacked ancelotti, di matteo, benitez, scolari, etc and they weren't this bad - so the assets can't be gotten rid off. it's the hapless manager that has to leave. his 6 years contract isn't up to what we pay RVP in a year & he's unfit to manage big players. get rid now before the virus eats deeper into the bones. the longer we leave it, the more difficult it would be to recover from the sickness.

Pls. Prayfor them. They need ur prayers.
which prayers?
you said moyes will turn it around. he's turning it around already, don't worry about prayers for the players. you have seen his tactical acumen, haven't you?

i would rather mourinho commit genocide & keep us in the top 4 than angelic moyes losing 6 points at old trafford back to back against hapless teams.

Newcastle has more shots and more possesion than man Utd
the funniest thing i knew we wouldn't win today the moment i saw the team list. so y'all can party, rent strippërs & go on a bukkakë for the next one week - i can't be arsëd!!!

we have an incompetent manager at the helm & nothing will change until he's removed. sadly, we would miss champions league next season & most of the big players will leave while we won't be able to attract big players.

fergie's selfish & scottish solidarity has ruined us. he'd better come back & erase his mistakes. if moyes has any decorum left in him, he should tender his resignation letter tomorrow. this is worse than roy hodgson at liverpool.

valencia for rafael again? grin grin grin grin

it worked perfectly in the last game, isn't it? we have a troglodyte as a manager. the most brainless, useless, gutless twät ever.

leggo: anderson is the pregnant cow
jones is the pregnant cow. moyes has crippled that right side permanently. valencia will concede another goal if newcastle can go down his area.

montelik: why is zaha on the left. so that he won't do well and Moyes can then confine him to the bench.
moyes is pursuing a goal & he left jones on the pitch. does jones have the distribution to get us a goal? no he doesn't.

the anderson-cleverley pair guarantees goals. jones next to anderson is like pairing a pregnant cow & roy keane in the midfield.

moyes has ruined this club - he should just leave now.

superstar1: What has cleverly done that jones has not done better in this match
cleverley has linked the play far better than jones. jones is supposed to be the defensive mid while cleverley is supposed to be the offensive. meanwhile, it's jones that has let cabaye take the piss on our midfield.

moyes should have brought anderson on before newcastle's tactical change. now, he's in dire straits & throwing all his options on after damage has been done. why wait till we concede before making changes?

why? why? why??

What has cleverly aka joggerly done in this match, at least we can see jones in this match.
jones is doing nothing - i don't know why you guys think the player who runs around is doing something. no he's not, he just appears to be working without actually being productive.

jones has been animal shyte in this game.

superstar1: Pull out Chicharito, bring Zaha to the right, move Rvp forward and drop Nani in the hole.
abeg o - nani is doing wonders on the flanks. he's been the best player in this half so far. beating his marker & whipping the crosses.

at this point, i would take jones off & introduce anderson. 6 attacking players will get you goals. with fergie, it's all about scoring. with moyes, it's all about not conceding.

dayokanu: Who told you your opponents are still not out of sorts this season?

Is it Chelsea or City? Is it Spurs

The revitalised Man City have already lost 4 games as at November while Mancinis city lost 6 games all last season

The difference you see on the table is as a result of Man Utd getting worse than opponents getting better

If Fergie was coach Man Utd wont be 12 points off first place in mid december
our rivals are actually shittier this year than last season. too bad moyes couldn't capitalise on their weakness with his negativity in every game. he doesn't have the balls to go for 3 points.

at some point in this game if it remains 0-0, he would accept the draw by taking out attack-minded players & replace them with valencia, fellaini & an extra defender. there are more electrons in the cell of moyes than protons.
Evra nearly killed us at the end there. We're just not very good. There isn't enough from our midfield in terms of creativity. Adnan and Nani have same talent level but Adnan is already more mature as a footballer than Nani which is a shame. I'd still rather see Nani than Valencia out there given a run in the side like Valencia has been given.
i still think whoever rafael has ahead of him always prove to be the best performer on the flanks. nani on the left at the start was mind-boggling.

phil jones is rubbish in the midfield - playing him there & expecting creativity is like expecting snow in the sahara desert. anderson would have given us a lot of running to beat the newcastle midfield. what this team lacks is a player that can actually dribble & slip between the lines.

so why are we bothering he's dropping points? only a fool does the same thing over & over and expect different results. at this rate, we would be lucky to escape relegation.

Leyqute: Now we can expect something from the wings. Their creativity should win this match for us. I just hope they don't dwell on the ball too much like they did against Everton.
and any smart man utd manager should know wing play is our strongest route to attack. fabio should always be on the bench in case rafael gets injured or cops a yellow card.

he's so much better than having smalling or valencia there. these things don't require m.sc degree but our manager is so negative, he prefers robotic mechanical players as subs & this is why late goals have eaten up about 9 points of ours.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 1:12pm On Dec 07, 2013
phil jones again in the midfield? the freekick magnet. can't tackle, can't mark, too clumsy, too idiotic. cabaye will get a goal or assist a goal again today - that much is certain.

glad RVP is back - i hope he's not rushed to play in the absence of rooney. defence is solid & nani/rafael link should screw newcastle up.

midfield is a slight worry but this is a much better team than the last 3 games. any team without valencia & giggs is good enough.

miz Gene: @ coogar I still stand by what I said, for example a grad of Cranfield or RGU going for an interview against a Russell grp grad for a petro engineering company position, forget any edge u think u hv! It all boils down to d industry and d schools dt hv strong departments in that area of expertise.
a chemical engineering graduate from imperial college with the same grade would beat the cranfield graduate to the job 9 out of 10 times. forget story - the class system exists here. check the endowments given to each school by the government & the trust funds then maybe you would understand.

imperial college got £765m as far back as 2012 while coventry got £1.5m - of course, the employers know the students of imperial are well funded to carry out research while coventry students can only watch on DVDs in the classrooms.

And I'll say it again, Nija employers dnt give a hoot where u finished from as of now. Maybe in future when most of the employers themselves are foreign trained dt cd happen.....even in that 'future ' if der will be any discrimination, it will come from d Unis dt hv the most grads in top positions here.

There are many i know who got good job after graduating from those schools you called waste of money. Going to good school can take you to interview stage but may not get you the job or do the job for you, it comes down to individual.
you want to compare the job hunt in 2003 to 2013? you are having a laugh. as at the time i was graduating, i am not even sure i applied for any job. the scouts during those career sessions in school already had my number & it was a direct link to the first job i got. times have changed now. there are more applicants than jobs so your CV has to be very sound & potent!!!

The noise people make about Russell group universities is just about class issue, trying to protect their ego, they are not better than those who attended schools outside that group.
the same class issue exists in the selection process in the interview stage. of course, a student from IMSU might be better than the one at cambridge but it's the cambridge applicant that will land the job. your cousin's circumstance is an exception, not the norm. even various factors apply - his school might have been the best of the lots that took the interview.

miz Gene: I beg to differ. Generally going to a Russell grp Uni can give one an edge in the job market esp in the UK, but Every industry: health, Biz, law, aeronautics etc has its own grp or list of schools which are very strong in their area of expertise. And der are lots of schools dt will give the Russell grp a stiff competition.
of course, there are lots of students elsewhere that would give russell group students a run for their money but then who cares? if you score 90% in an interview & a russell-group applicant score 85%, who do you think the employer would choose? you? grin cheesy

Secondly, I dnt think Nigerian employers care or even know what the Russell grp is! because frankly der r very few intl trained grads and dy don't hv dt luxury of picking Kcl over uop.
they now use the internet - they know the top schools & the average ones. if you are lucky that none of the other applicants has a russell-group certificate then your chances are brighter, if they do - start praying.

if you can't afford it, stay at home or go do ACCA instead of wasting £20k per session going to a school that will not benefit you in the end. is university a must? aren't there associate certifications one can get apart from degrees? this your advice is not cool at all.

your journey doesn't even end in the interview stage. FTSE companies send scouts to hunt students even before you complete your degree program. seriously, i will not advise anyone to go to a substandard school because you cannot afford to get into a top school. wait at home, save more money then get into a good school when your money is right.

there are no good schools outside the russell group. the employers know this & one suddenly becomes a second fiddle when looking for top jobs. it's even bad now as nigerian employers are now catching the vibe so of what importance is wasting millions of naira going to a school that would not give you your desired job.

i owe my entire life to the school i finished from & i know what others go through to land jobs because of donkey-stubborn employers who insist on giving russell-group applicants VIP treatment & tossing the CVs of the others into the bin without even reading it. employers are not stüpid - they want the best of the best applicants for the smallest wages they can afford.

only a lunatic would blame the squad & overlook moyes' incompetence. you know it's over for man utd when a braindead phil jaglieka is giving obtuse opinion about our great team. phil jaglieka didn't even finish from a high school, what does he know?

fergie left moyes with a squad good enough to win the league but we have an idiotic manager whose methods have screwed things up. rio ferdinand has just revealed moyes does not tell the players who's starting until 1 hour before the game, how can that be beneficial when players are not even sure if they will play or not. it's like not knowing if i am writing exams or not until the last one hour. moyes is a virus in that club.

his training regime is harmful, his team selection is god awful & his substitutions are the poorest & the most negative in the league. he removed rafael(our best crosser) & replaced him with an idiotic valencia. it begs the question - why not replace rafael with fabio? why hasn't zaha played to replace the brainless valencia?

moyes is the reason the team is not performing, the buck stops with the manager. the transfer window is just an excuse - this team won the league by 11 points last season - nothing has changed apart from the poorest man management you can think of & the most awful training regime similar to terrorist boot camp in the hills of afghanistan!
