lol you know I have life outside of forum. I went to catch fun
like displaying your fresh pepper? omo-alata, if you quit pepper-selling, i might post a diamond ring to you. thank feck, you are not a feminist who hates the idea of an engagement ring. |
I see that you and biola are missing me. aww i feel special
i miss you die.....where have you been? you can't just go AWOL like that without hinting your fans. please, don't gimme hypotension!! |
Idowuogbo: Haaaa! He's finished! Game over!don't quote me.....i don't want to be slapped from behind @ waterloo station. |
biolabee: Why will a voluptuous omo alata be concerned with weird ideologiesfrankly, omo-alata comes across as someone posh but suffering a bit of an identity crisis. the others are mostly from the village - only opportuned to watch jerry springer series on TV or on a brief degree program in a decrepit school in the western world!!! |
collynzo2: Unlike the Nigerian '70 percent' feminists lol. That lady really cracked me up with that submission.she later admitted she's not a feminist! may God bless her. biolabee: Funny one.... I hope he will pay half of his net worth willingly if she decides to leave himmarrying a feminist is like a slave marrying his master. sagamite is in trouble! |
Idowuogbo: Go and sleep joor! Agbaya!thunder fire your left nipplë. sagamite got married to a feminist. he's under the basement washing shït-stained lacy panties. |
i feel like damaging someone tonight like the nazis did the chapel of nazareth. which of the feminists wants to die tonight? biolabee: Genuinely now im pitying them... purveyors of an ideology they dont even know what it stands forthe anglosaxons that pioneered the idea can be excused. they are deluded but they are unwavering in their delusion - it's the fake ones from nigeria you should pity. after ptyalising vacuous comments on NL, they go into fasting and praying the next day with a dozen prayer requests to go with it praying for someone as unfortunate as them to broach the subject of marriage. |
hahahahaha - fake feminists are still gnashing their teeth about their misfortunes. blimey, what a world we live in. |
chaircover: Mr CC owns the travelodge chainwow - so we have a billionaire in our midst all this while. madam cc, i salute o! |
chaircover: Lair oooooo!!!!don't mind the yeye girl......that's how she creeps to the UK every month to get some london love. but madam CC, what were you doing near travelodge, do you supply the sliced bread they serve for their yeye breakfast? |
chamotex: Coogar, what's up with this BT deal screening some premiership games this season?thank feck, i already use BT broadband & housephone so it's free for me! |
ileobatojo: Oh I do love to refer to that thread and gloat. Yes.there's nothing to gloat about on that thread, you clearly took the L Similar to your excellent grasp of statistics right?i am the god of science n math! That you are...that you are..thanks for the acknowledgment - you're my favourite mgbeke feminist! |
carefreewannabe: Learn to read statistics, then we can talk again. The study clearly showed that man IN THE SAME POSITIONS as women earn more. Bye!i don't read statistics clawed out of an elephant's rectum. your approach is dumb, lazy and corny. the same positions do not mean they cop the same labour hours. if we are both working in a company and i am full time whilst you do part-time, who's going to be taking more wages monthly? you need an IQ booster, mate! ileobatojo: LMAO!!bwahahahaha i bet you have that thread printed out and pasted on your wall. i have been serving you cans of arsë-whooping ever since honest abe signed the papers that abolished slavery. ileoba, don't be antsy i am a pain in your throat! |
dademola: wen u start bringing in doubts as regarding shay given's qualities, derz no nid continuing d arguement. Hart won in 09 cos he is british?? So d times he didnt win, twas cos he changed his nationality to russian, isnt it??the british factor influences these votes - van persie should have won the PFA this year but it went to bale. nani should have won it in 2011 but it went to bale. vidic should have won it in 2009 but it went to ryan giggs. Mr logic man, i was talking about goalkeepers being rotated in a team, u're talking about outfield players like rooney and lambert. Hw can u compare dropping a goalkeeper to dropping a striker? D top teams in europe, hw many pple can even recognize der 2nd choice gks?by your snail-speed logic, hart is better than casillas. So much for ur logic!! DDG situation(being dropped) gave d media reasons to speculate, period!!who's fault is dt?? I'm sure u'd even say twas d media dt made fergie bench him. I'd still choose cech, hart and julior cesar ova DDG ATM.that's your opinion. i know a lot of people that would choose beetle over bugatti or nokia 3310 for iphone-5. i always say a prayer for people like that - may the lord open their spiritual eyes.... |
I enjoy healthy debate. Yes o I am a sell pepper, so you should think of investing in the business. You are arguing too many issues at once, sometimes it is hard to dissect which one you are really going for. I will agree with you on your last statement that in US, the law favors women but sadly the same is not true in Nigeria.
i also agree it's a man's world in nigeria but that's largely cultural reasons. the gap is closing fast though. more girls are even attending schools these days than the boys. however, i still don't think the gender bias is so bad that a man with an o'level certificate would earn more than a woman with a bachelor's degree. that scenario is as likely as coogar getting a BJ from rihanna. |
carefreewannabe: You know this saying: Don't argue with stupid people, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with EXPERIENCE? Think about it.you are the one exhibiting the traits of an illiterate here. you saw a table showing wages that highlights the nigerian men getting more paid than the nigerian women and you didn't even bother to think there might be several factors attached..... for starters, more nigerian women work part-time hours than their male counterparts. more nigerian women tend to leave the labour force for issues such as child birth, child care and elderly care. additionally, pay appears are more important to men than to women. nigerian women, especially working mothers, tend to value policies that are family friendly in the workplace than men. more often than not, women may value non-pay benefits more than men do and so prefer to take a greater portion of their compensation in the form of health insurance and other fringe benefits. you cannot just see a table of figures and run with it without looking at what lies beneath. men do more of the jobs that are hazardous and more mental-tasking and they often outnumber women in the male-dominated organisations!
All I can do is lmao. I am not going back and forth with you. Since it is weekend, you should pay visit to your local library and read some law books so you can be well rounded
hahahahaha - if i am more well rounded than i am currently, i would be an elephant!!! my knowledge pool is the size of africa multiplied by a million. one has to be obtuse to think men are not more marginalised in divorce courts. i know you are just arguing for the fun of it, even though you sell pepper, you know in your mind that the laws have never favoured the men when relationships break down. |
You are talking about two different issues here. First of all, alimony and child support are two separate things. One of them the payor pays tax, the other one he does not. Payee pays tax on one and other he does not. They are two separate things.
how does what you have written above prove equality? Secondly alimony agreement is settled during the divorce and finalized after the Divorce. If you are the payor and decide to get remarried, your ex spouse has no legal stand to come after your new spouse income for increase pmt.yes she does.....when the alimony is awarded, nothing changes it. the man must continue to pay regardless of any circumstance unless he declares bankruptcy. if he marries a new wife who earns fat pay, then his wife's income can be used in court to prove he can pay! these facts are not far-fetched, why are you arguing? Thirdly, for child support, the payor parent is responsible for his/her own child(ren). The payee's new spouse has zero legal obligation to pay for the support of the stepchild(ren).true for the woman, not true for the husband. the income of a new wife can be used to claw out child support. carefreewannabe: If you bothered to deal with the report PROFOUNDLY you WOULD know that it is REPRESENTATIVE of the whole country and not based on a "tiny fraction". Apart from that, you didn't even read the original data of the US census but referred to an unreliable article that suits you and which is by the way from the yellow press.do you know what census is? every living soul in the country is required to give his/her info so it represents a truer statistics than a survey that barely captured 100,000 people of the 160 million population in nigeria. i have asked you to provide any female member of this forum earning less than a male counterpart with a lower qualification in any company in nigeria! I have provided enough SCIENTIFIC evidence of the situation of females in Nigeria and I can provide more! Before you go on talking about the USA, SHOW US ONE STUDY that pictures the situation of WOMEN IN NIGERIA IN A POSITIVE WAY! I AM WAITING.you have provided nothing - if the report about wage disparity is flawed, only heaven knows what other things are erroneous in that report. i don't understand what you mean by showing you an evidence that pictures nigerian women in a positive way.....are you suggesting nigerian women are represented in a negative way? you don't even stay in nigeria to know the report you religiously clinged to is correct or wrong. you might have to rethink again and ask yourself how less-qualified males earn more than their female peers. the people who stay there including a female has categorically stated your report is full of lies and you are claiming scientific evidence..... well, it appears science does not work in nigeria - so try physical evidence! |
de gea reigns supreme! https://www.barcelonafootballblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/England-GK-Stats.jpg |
TheMadame: In all my years of service in Nigeria I have never heard of salary inequaality between males and females. If you come into the establishment with the same qualifications you are started on the same basic salary and allowances. The only difference maybe hazard allowances to which men are sometimes entitled but this more or less evens itself out through maternity leave and other incentives for women.Once again there is no salary discrimination between men and women with the same qualifications in Nigeria-truth must be told and not twisted in order to win arguements.let them wallow in their delusion......i cannot for the life of me believe anyone would think that such disparity even exists in nigeria. the country worships certificates more than any country on the planet! |
No I am not offended, after all that is my username n it is that for a reason. That law that applies to that New York woman also applies to a man. Btw when u get remarried alimony goes away
says who? in the US, if a man remarries, his new wife's income can be used as proof that the man can pay alimony. if the ex-wife (and mother) remarries, however, not a cent of her new husband's earnings goes to child support. can you explain the court's rationality here? carefreewannabe: Ok, so the British Council is composed of mental misfits but the US census is not. I see ... very logical.so you don't know the information taken during census involves nearly everyone in the population as opposed to the ones taken during a survey that involves just a tiny fraction of the population? |
Ok Mr intelligent, I am pepper seller, it is a very lucrative business, don't hate on pepper sellers
i got that from your username, so don't see it as an insult. you have been a good sport until the last comment of yours and your attempt to distort the fact. in new york, a woman can collect alimony for the rest of her natural life. that's after the kids are grown up and have started their own broken families too. |
You made a lot of outlandish statements and you couldn't even back it. Even the so call statistic you posted, did not back up most of your claims. Except that 75% of divorced women get custody of children.
i backed up every statement i made.....some of them don't even need to be backed up cos it's in your face.....what else do you want me to provide? that men are not marginalised in divorce courts? do you really stay on this planet or in a parallel universe? I will digress at this point. I have proven my point. Next time, when you want to engage in a debate, don't be too emotional, be educated on the subject matter. if you are going to make outlandish controversial statement, kindly back it up so you don't look like an idiiotlook at this village chic that sells pepper.... what point did you prove? you proved a point without backing up any of your counterclaims? is that how to prove a point where you come from? you need to go and lie down. debating on the internet takes tact and super-intelligence and not the nonsense you hear in hairdressing salons. |
dademola: have u forgotton twas hart dt displaced shay given at city? Hav u also forgotten dt twas dis same hart dt won d epl best gk award, playing for lowly birmingham( wen most of d time, d award goes to d gk of d EPL champions)??so what if hart displaced shay given? was shay given good? the same short shay given that never leaves his line when crosses comes in? hart won best gk award in 09/10 because he's british - forget those tales by moonlight. Hart has also won 3 golden gloves awards( sme pple wld argue dt man city's defence helped him win bt weda u like it or not.. D goalkeeper is considered to be part of d defence unit of a team). Despite hart's errors, his position as city's nmbr one has neva been in doubt, unlike in man utd where lindergaard gets a run of games, not cos DDG is injured, bt due to d "physicality of d opponents involved".another string of comments bereft of logic. lambert's position has never been in doubt as southampton's main striker, he must be better than rooney(spare tire). Anoda point worthy of note is dt, despite hart's well publicized blunders, man city hav neva been rumoured to be linked with an asmir begovic, or a pepe reina.show us man utd's bid for asmir begovic since de gea has been here. you forget man utd is the biggest club on the planet and only 1% of the transfer links to the club are true. |
I need a complete study, not part of a study. Anyone can do a study n make it appear the way they want to it appear. So give a true complete study which will be more detailed and then I can formulate better opinion.
US census bureau is anyone? that's not a study, it's census. a statistics drawn out of the largest class size possible. if you disregard that, then let's assume there's no divorce at all in america then. it's all a farce. everyone is enjoying marriage and living happily ever after.... carefreewannabe: So these statistics are real and true BUT the ones for Nigeria were "sensational"? I see ...i think i can boldly say the US census bureau has more credibility than the report you clawed out of the stratosphere by some mental misfit drivers of media sensationalism. |
That is not a complete article. What is the source? How many subjects were in thus study? Was there any custody hearing? Did the father willing relinquish custody or did he fight? So many questions. I need the complete study.
statistics was culled from the US census bureau.... of course, there would be custody hearing but since most women already lied anyways that their husbands are abusive, the likelihood of such fathers taking custody is less than zero. from the stats - 79.6% of custodial mothers receive some support award and only 29.6% of the custodial fathers receive support award. so the issue here is not about fathers cannot afford to take care of their kids. in short, feast on this link and weep for the cause of the feminists. they are the sole reason marriages are shyte these days with illegitimate & abandoned babies crawling everywhere. http://www.mckinleyirvin.com/blog/divorce/32-shocking-divorce-statistics/ |
Oga, ok o you are more educated on all subjects. And it shows on this thread so I will not dispute. But Can you tell me where you are getting this 70% from? Is it from your own study or it is from a scientific journal, research and/or article? Please educate me since you know more
read below..... it says 75% of children with divorced parents live with their mother.... unlike you, i know what i am talking about....
|
Now, I see you are just talking of your a$s. you know US love to do studies, please kindly show me any journal that back up those claims you just made. Go read the law again, when you are divorcing, both men n women have equal rights to fight for custody. In most cases the men do not fight. Don't blame feminist for that.
i think you have a splinter in your sphincter..... so because men don't fight means feminists should take more than they deserve. you want to dispute 70% of the divorces involving children do not end up with women taking custody of the kids? what part of america do you stay? it must be south america, not the united states, otherwise you won't be ptyalising pukery..... Secondly, you do not understand anything about alimony from that nonsense you just typed there. Please educate yourself on subject matter before you start writing things out of thin air. The law on alimony is written equally for both men n women. No where on written law that says if you are a man, you will get this and if you are woman, you will get this. It is gender less. Please educate yourself first on those subjects then we can have better discussion and stop blaming feminist for this.i am more educated on any subject that you can ever be. unlike you, i put myself to study and look at these issues before coming out to type on a public forum. on the average, a man's net worth reduces about 70% when he goes through a divorce. these are the cold facts unless you dwell under a rock on galapagos island. |
Afam4eva: I'm an SEO expert and i know how google rankings are done, so when i talk you listen.look at this semi-illiterate amateur - i employ people of your status in the UK and feed them. Google does not only rank articles. It ranks just about anywhere a keyword like "Genevieve Nnaji" for example is posted on the internet even if it's just a comment in a forum or a blog and not necessarily the blog article itself. People refer to "Genevieve Nnaji" as just "Genevieve", so pages for where Genevieve is availabale are not included in the results for "Genevieve Nnaji". A typical example is when you want to know the search for the ethnic group "Igbo" without realizing that some people also call it "Ibo" instead. I hope you get the drift.your explanation is retardëd because igbo and ibo are only synonymous to a particular group of people. genevieve is a name answered by millions of women of diverse groups, races, tribes, etc. what's the comparison? And i never said she's the only woman called Genevieve but you can't deny that she would have a reasonable chunk from that keyword on google.but that's what your explanation implied. you are saying any genevieve typed into google search must be genevieve nnaji which is quite idiotic.... |
carefreewannabe: I am for certain not going to believe you more than scientific research. Have no doubt about it.you can believe what you choose to believe.... biolabee: On the contrary it does..but no problem if you cant answersuch female members only exist on carefreewannabe's report. ![]() |
carefreewannabe: Your experience is not representative, science is! That's why we should focus on facts instead of judging from our little experience. How old are you and how many companies have your worked for? I work for a foreign university so I guess my salary doesn't fall into the statistics.don't be cowed into believing nonsense reports. in nigeria, degrees are worshipped - it's not possible to have anyone with lower qualification earn more than their female counterparts. forget scientific statistics and dodgy reports - anyone can falsify numbers and make useless deductions from them. the only reason there are more males than females in employment is because less females apply in the first place. we can discuss the reasons why less females are applying not concocting imaginary statistics. carefreewannabe: Coogar, SCIENCE IS BASED ON REALITY, it's REALITY in numbers. You have never seen a university from the inside, am I right? No offense!of course, i have never even been to any school. i knew how to read and write watching sesame street on TV. that research is nonsense, cooked-up, extrapolated. on what survey was it based on? how many organisations or how many volunteers did they speak to? |
I am not familiar with divorce law in Nigeria but in US when you file for divorce and children are involved. the couples are ask what arrangement you want for custody. You can either choose sole custody(man/woman) or shared custody. Depending on the couples arrangement will determine if they will have a nasty court case or not.
in the US, 70% of the divorces involving children result in the mother getting custody. it's never been 50-50. As for as alimony is concern, both men n women are entitle to alimony and alimony is solely depend on the wealth of the individual you are suing. There is no set amount. It varies from individual to individualbut this is the caveat - if there's a divorce and the woman remarries and have children with a man of low income. the ex-husband would pay alimony and also pay to support the kids she's got with her new husband. however, if there's a divorce where the wife is richer and the man remarries a woman with low income and have children. the law does not require her to support the kids of her husband cos she's not their mother. carefreewannabe: Ok, then give me a RIALABLE report that says otherwise because I prefer to stick to FACTS. (By the way, I KNEW FROM THE VERY BEGINNING, you would sooner or later say it's nonsense, even when it's based on SCIENTIFIC reasearch.)there's no fact in that part of the report you are talking about. there are hundreds of female members of this forum in employment. let one of them come here and prove men with lower qualification and job experience earn higher than them. there's science and there's realism!!! |
carefreewannabe: The report is 100 pages long and you have dealt with it for 5 minutes to address ONE issue out of at least 10 dealt with in this report??it seems comprehending simple lines is a challenge for you. i already told you the report has not broken new barriers in that i already know what they are on about. fact remains men apply more for jobs and logic dictates you would find more men in employment & schools - why didn't the report go to the market to see how women outnumber men? What do you have to say about this??that is just sensationalism. on what planet in nigeria would a man with o'level certificate earn more than a woman with a bachelor's degree in the same industry? believe that nonsense and you would believe anything!!! |
