backtosender: The lamentations of Daddy Tukur:

Help! Nigeria is under attack! Boko Haram attacked my village. Bamanga Tukur PDP Chairman

“This nation must come together to fight the common evil. There is fear everywhere. In my village, Ganye in Adamawa, they invaded the place, burnt down the police station, attacked the policemen on duty, raided the bank, privately-owned houses, moved down to the prisons, set the inmates free and burnt down the building. Where are we heading to? Nobody can even explain what is happening now”. Bamanga Tukur.........
it's not a laughing matter
21 innocent people were killed in this attack last friday night. it was barely reported in the media - it then tells you some powerful individuals in the government are behind boko haram.
Please let us hear something
Who is not taking and giving bribe in Nigeria?
The people caught on tape stashing dollars into their shagari caps are walking around
The man that stole my fathers pension just got a court injunction that he cannot be arrested
Bank-ole,Tinubu,OUJ Okija etc are waxing stronger
By Jove Alameseigha is now St Alams of asisi

Shege!

I need to enter politricks
Who will give me connection?
you cannot argue this way......
this dude was caught - it's the law. you need proof and evidence that someone has stolen. when those are provided, there would be conviction. in a nutshell, thou shall not be caught! the others can steal as much as they want, if the law cannot catch them then there's nothing either of us can do about it.

Do you know what I could do with hundred Dollars
That is half a goat plus change or 2 boxes of catfish at the African market
Hundred dollars can buy me a 25 pound bag of pounded yam,a 25 pound bag of rice four, one gallon of palm oil plus a box of plantains.
if the gift was a billy-goat and the goat ran away. would you go back to the giver to provide another goat?
eod.

personally, i think minding one's own business is the best option in most cases.

its not like all the talk/gossip in the world prevents women from exposing their breasts/dressing half n.a.ked, snatching other people's husbands, men sleeping with other people's wives, marrying an 8 year old to a 70 year old grandma, etc etc, in short, people will still do whatever they want to do regardless of what anybody says and even if you preach to them from daybreak to sunset.

its up to the individual how they want to live their life, do what you want to do and face whatever consequence that comes thereof.
what a defeatist way of looking at things.....
religious leaders should also stop preaching because people would still do what they want to do too, right? parents should stop training their wards because kids would still do what they want to do. this idiotic way of people minding their own business is the reason your brother would soon take another man to the altar for marriage. you are part of the reason the society is what it is. keep minding your business till the walls come crashing down.
This thread struck a chord. I have such a "married woman" friend.
But there is something we guys don't understand, it is a very thin line between the frequent calls and the actuall intimacy (aka s,ex).
In my case, the my married woman friend claims she really love her husband and can never cheat on him sexually/physically. But she wants me to visit her in school and maybe pass the night in her room. The problem is that I Don't Trust Myself not to do anything. Though I have tried to gap her, but I am always wondering what could make a man leave the emotional needs of his very se,xy young wife unattended.
this issue is polemic.
what people understand as cheating varies from individual to individual. to some women, there's no cheating until sëxual intercourse and some people see ordinary flirting as cheating. the question is - when is cheating cheating? your married woman friend might not even consider what she's doing as cheating - don't get ahead of yourself or you might get hotly slapped. cheesy

Married Men, abeg try and pay more attention to that woman that you have paid her bride price. You may not appreciate her, but some young hot dudes already be eying what you have got. A stitch in time saves nine.
you are asking for the impossible.....
she would stray if she wants to - pay her attention from nigeria to nicaragua and it won't mean shyte. choosing the right partner to marry from the onset is the key. once that mistake is made, the marriage is doomed!

victorian: No wife, is saying be Batman, Incredible Hulk or Superman....just be a caring human being with conscience, but with yur lover outside.... U can be all that, abi?
that's the irony.....
mistresses understand the married men more than the wives. there's something about marriage and the erratic behaviour in married women. once they marry, they just lose the initiative. men for what they are would always seek for the best and if the madam at home is not performing to his required standard, he would seek what he lacks outside.

Billyonaire: My married female friends, chat with me than they can ever chat with their husbands, cos I pretend to be the nicest living thing, a problem solver, a multi-faceted personality, and solvent for all solutes, most romantic and understanding fellow but guess what my lady thinks of me ? Workaholic, unromantic, always thinking about money and very lazy on bed. This is a paradox that can only be solved by change of locations and multiple personality at home. Try to create so many avenues for fun to engage the woman, teach her to play piano, play Video Games and spend time together at the gym. The point is to occupy her with funfilled activities 24hrs, cos a woman's mind is wavering, its like waves of the sea and needs permanent calming, if not, the boat will be rocked by the bad guys, I rock some boats sometimes.

devour129: he is meant to be all of that and also the lady can help to.
of course, he's supposed to be the mixture of the incredible hulk, batman and superman all rolled in one. what do you women take men for? where's the time to babysit a partner when there's work and issues to attend to?

this is why i always advise my mates to always go for women with a high self-esteem and the ability to be alone. women who constantly seek a second opinion on the colour of undies to wear are potential emotional cheats.....

i agree technology has drastically changed human interaction in the last 10 yrs but most married women have the emotional make-up of a 13 year old girl. the short absence of their partners is a valid excuse to log on facebook and seek out a buddie to fill the void.

victorian: Question: why are most married oblivious about their wives emotional needs? ... Not for me , cause am ok with my hussy, but for majority of wives out there, hoping the husband will change ....
because women often ask more than any man can give......

Family › Re: Married Folks: Is Oral Se.x Neccessary In A Marriage To Build Trust And Love? by coogar:
sapien: Hi married Nairalanders, I would really like to know if Oral se.x is an essential ingredient in building a long lasting relationship and trust in a marriage, especially one built on the foundation of Christ.

My aunt came rushing home to my mum, couple of days ago. I was eavsdropping on their conversation when I heard my aunt said that her husband has been hitting up on her for oral se.x. In her own words, she said, she had never had the thought, and she doesn't know where her hubby got the disgusting idea from.

I guess this has been causing acrimony between them, so she decided to come and tell my mum to know her stand on her hubbby's new found appetite.

And by the way, this man was suppose to be a born again christian.
So, folks, Is it wrong and against biblical principles?
I need matured response, please.
your aunt is playing with fire....
if she doesn't give him, there's an avalanche of willing mouths out there ready to do her job for her.... didn't they court before their marriage? didn't they discuss the dos/don'ts before walking the aisle? no man wants to be short-changed in marriage. your aunty's husband has friends that probably boast about how other pastor(mrs) perform in the bedroom and he's feeling cheated. tell your aunty to go buy a box of lollipop and start practising.......after 3 days of intensive practising, she should practise with bananas without getting the urge to bite. in about 5 days, she would be excellent at it.
